81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 truths about bitcoin, in my opinion? on: August 14, 2022, 10:01:23 PM
whatever the perception and opinion about bitcoin that has been used at the present time, whether it's for a transaction tool or as an asset, in essence all collect it and even hold it because they have the belief that bitcoin has a bright future and gives positive hope ....
bitcoin is not a god who can change anything.... but it is the user who can change the role of bitcoin so that it is valuable
82  Economy / Economics / Re: Why aren't people utilising cryptocurrency payment methods? on: August 14, 2022, 09:54:10 PM
I was once interested in paying with bitcoin and eth when I saw an online shopping site, but unfortunately when all shopping lists were collected and the time to pay me canceled because of the transaction fee of more than $ 5, I think the classic problem of Bitcoin that could not be resolved was a more expensive transaction fee if compared to free bank transfers.
you are right ....when we make transactions with one of the coins. some of them require very high transaction fees like ETH so we think twice about using it as a transaction tool and in addition to the taxes imposed by the government on every crypto transaction
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Why aren't people utilising cryptocurrency payment methods? on: August 11, 2022, 10:34:57 PM

1. Regulation
What makes bitcoin and others unable to be used as a transaction tool at this time is government regulations that do not give permission to be used as a transaction tool for goods and services, so there is no legal umbrella for people to use them instead they will be subject to fines or violations of the law if use it
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 truths about bitcoin, in my opinion? on: August 11, 2022, 10:25:47 PM
Are these truths or just your opinions?

Bitcoin can't save the world. That's bullshit. The world cannot be saved.
Correct...
in what way can bitcoin save the world...?
maybe saving assets and finances can happen to every individual or strengthen the economy of every country, but bitcoin being able to save the world is impossible and impossible. we know bitcoin war conflicts can only serve as a tool to be able to contribute and help those communities affected by conflict the
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What your ideas about bitcoin adoption in the future? on: August 11, 2022, 10:17:23 PM
I believe one day transactions between countries will use crypto, especially Bitcoin. But this is not the time, because there are still many who are unfamiliar with using crypto as a transaction tool.

bitcoin until now is still not fully functional according to the initial idea, this is constrained by state regulations and the current state and government attitude but at some point it will happen even though not with bitcoin maybe with other altcoins. considering that some countries have legalized it to be a transaction tool we just need to be patient for that
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin Fall?? on: August 11, 2022, 10:09:33 PM
when bitcoin falls or no longer exists because the circulating supply cannot be accessed or disappears from the market and crypto, there may be a shift in the role of coin number 1 in the market which may be replaced by other coins, while the digital world of cryptocurrencies will keep going and there will be more users in it, the loss of bitcoin or the fall of bitcoin can't turn off the other one can say dead 1 grows 1000
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: I do believe that Bitcoin will be more scarce than gold on: August 09, 2022, 10:05:52 PM

Gold is produced from natural products and it is limitless. While Bitcoin is limited to only 21 million worldwide. Many sources say that currently the volume of Bitcoin is starting to dwindle from that amount because it has been mined and it is predicted that there are currently around 2.1 million left and you can check the accuracy of the data yourself in various sources.

As far as I know, currently the number of BTC circulating is around 18 million if I'm not mistaken and the possibility of this 18 million number will continue to grow considering that buying and selling activities are very active on various available exchanges.
Of course Bitcoin will become scarce someday when the amount of 21 Million has been exhausted.
with a never-changing amount of bitcoin from the beginning it was created and continues to decrease with the number of users for several reasons such as mining, lost or deposited wallets in the wallet due to small amounts and other reasons, it is clear that this is very different from gold because we don't know how much gold is on this earth but with continuous mining it is also possible that gold will run out and it will take several centuries to return so that fossils turn back into gold.
in fact bitcoin will run out faster or extinct than gold as bitcoin is used more and more
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Social media, now looking more for business than for socializing. on: August 09, 2022, 09:55:17 PM
The bottom line to and of social media has always been and remains business- how to monetize it.  The goal wasn't to altruistically connect everyone but a mindset of how much $$$ can be made by connecting everyone.
I agree from the start that social media was created as a business to make money. Because digital business transformation is the most promising thing until now and between those who use social media, they really need each other even though they don't use it as a profitable business.

But let us admit, with the proliferation of marketplace in social media channels, a lot of people are benefiting from it. However, as a buyer, you need to be very careful as you may encounter bogus sellers. But I don't have anything against these people using social media as marketplace. As long as they are not screwing people, this platform is helping alleviate their living and not relying to somebody else to generate funds for living.
fraud is always looking for opportunities in all gaps in the line of life. we as users, business partners or buyers must be careful and smart in choosing them so that we can avoid fraud and dishonest digital market traders, because we cannot eliminate them or block them completely because most of them work as a team that has structured and neat
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish VS Bearish on: August 08, 2022, 10:59:02 PM
I myself think the assumptions and opinions about the future prediction of bitcoin to the point of touching the XXXX price are very funny and too obvious a lie to bring down bitcoin, because this is very unlikely to happen.
Seeing the historical journey of bitcoin, which is getting more and more bridled and dropped, even more people are joining it.
by developing the system and technology bitcoin so that altcoins are created as a complement to the shortcomings and future needs.
for the market price that occurs in bitcoin now is a natural thing in the trading market order in the economy, there is no need to worry because stocks, money and whatever are like that

91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT Play To Earn can make 50x - 100x? on: August 06, 2022, 10:16:12 PM
The nft game play to earn project is getting a lot of interest because it provides incentives to its members, and at this time whether the market influence of many projects can't reach the token sale target, but if we want to join, I think it's better to look for security to invest in nft game coins that already running like axie infinity with a lot of users and the current low price of tokens provides an opportunity for long term profit
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: lumin coin has 100x protential on: August 06, 2022, 10:09:04 PM
a project that can be said to be unclear and op as a writer cannot provide a strong explanation and tends to leave the topic so that it seems to attract people who are interested in joining and trapped in it,
because the banking project is actually against the principles of crypto in general so this is not possible
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Millions are still been raised in this bear market on: August 06, 2022, 10:01:09 PM
Until now they are in the trend, that's why.
It will take more time before it all calm down. Possibly, this are the NFT projects that was expensive before but became cheaper and investors are taking advantage of it.
Just one push back up and it will be a sure profit for them. There are gems in the NFT market and I think the social media is also helping to raise such amounts.
NFT is one that can raise quite significant funds from the beginning, especially the play to earn game project, although now it is not like previous years maybe due to market influence or momentum that is starting to dim but we can join in it for a low price
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token question and ownership on: August 06, 2022, 09:53:33 PM
some of us choose to have bitcoin or altcoin as an investment of course the volatility which will provide different expectations of value and profit from stocks but basically looking for profit with a different level of risk, as a beginner you join here of course you have a strong reason, whether driven by blockchain and crypto technology systems or because of price and value because I personally think most of those who join the blockchain and crypto world because of a price and value that gives them hope to get rich  Wink Wink Wink
95  Economy / Economics / Re: The BTC price must stabilize in the long run. on: August 04, 2022, 10:46:51 PM
back to the reality of bitcoin now those who hold it because the real reason is its volatility which gives them hope to get rich and we are not hypocrites for this. and naturally also bitcoin can not grow into something that might be said to be stable
So Bitcoin, and anything that wants to follow it in market capitalization, must be introduced to the public in phases, which could take a very long time.
Of course this takes time and market capitalization is of course unavoidable from volatility and inflation so worry about value and supply will always be there.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Social media, now looking more for business than for socializing. on: August 04, 2022, 10:35:06 PM
I think this is a natural thing where there is an opportunity then there will be a business way to get money and this is the law of economics, especially at this time that in fact everyone uses the media as one of the things that everyone enjoys and even something that gives positive socialization will also earn money like youtube channels and others, in my personal opinion this is all the influence of digital technology that provides easy access and the influence of human progress that is increasingly modern
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Early Adopters rich? on: August 04, 2022, 10:24:29 PM
Not all, many of them sold their bitcoins out of panic. I am one of them. I regret doing that though.
that's normal, my friend..... but if you get it and enter at a low price of course it's okay but if you enter at a high price of course it's a deep disappointment
maybe those who held it at the beginning also sold it because of the panic the price was so high at that time that they couldn't hold it
98  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Ever Reach $100k? on: August 04, 2022, 10:15:10 PM
I've got a feeling that BTC is going to pump soon. Some facts back that up, like the fact that on the carts we bottomed and the US will pump the market before mid-term elections, which will also pump BTC. They have an anti-inflation inflationary bill of half a trillion dollars about to be released. There may even be more stimulus checks. Some altcoins have already started pumping. ICP is already up 25% over the last week for example. Most other major alts are up at least 10%.
I hope August is the beginning of a good month for price pumps in the market because last July, bitcoin went up by 17% even though this still can't be said to be something positive because we are still careful whether it will be bullish or bearish? pumps or dumps?

We do have some topics on this forum or in overall market sayings that month of August is a ghost month
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4906970.0

Therefore, i dont really believe that much that there would be some good pumps or increase for this month, although it doesnt really assure
that these kind of sentiments do really affect crypto market but it would be better if you dont make yourself expect these things to be that accurate most of the time.
if we look at the history of August in previous years we deserve to say this month is a ghost month because from 2009 to 2020 more markets are decorated with red and it is too early if bitcoin wants to recover but we must be able to take the opportunity to increase our assets if there is a decline again

100  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we hodling BTC or we are hodling Fiat?? on: August 03, 2022, 10:00:27 PM
snip----
So it means that only the top coins in the CMC should we use and invest? But not everything at the top is useful or should I say they exist only as a digital of the existing currency so it's not advisable to invest on it. Bitcoin can be both fiat or an asset so why hold fiat when it won't grow overtime?
investing in the highest list at CMC is the best alternative because it is minimal risk and promises price growth. We know that fiat tends to inflation so holding bitcoin is a more promising thing
I have to say to you that BTC is still gonna be use as currency since it is what it is as designed for P2P transaction by Satoshi. Thus, due to the price growing up over time because of the people mining and holding plus the halving cycle every four years will eventually make the price grow even more.
BTC is still used as a transaction tool but maybe in other words its role is not as fiat but more like gold or other valuable assets that have price growth in my personal opinion
