81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese citizens could safely hold Bitcoin on: May 26, 2019, 01:29:19 AM
As title said "Chinese citizens could safely hold Bitcoin", just read a article from Ethereumworldnews, you might read that article for more details "China: Hodling Bitcoin (BTC) and P2P OTC Trading is Legal".

However, this is a good news for Chinese crypto users. They could hold bitcoin legally without fear of government. I think the positive impact of this news would reflect on bitcoin price.

What you think about it?

Chinese has been using bitcoin and other alts more than anyone in the world. Though trading through bank integration and fiat to crypto exchanges are not allowed, people, merchants and shops are freely accepting cryptos more than anywhere you'll find.

And it's totally legal.

82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TRONbet of TRON Network!!! Do you guys try the gambling site of TRON? on: May 26, 2019, 01:21:19 AM
The concept is good and the site is attractive but tron. I don't think I'll be able to keep on with the hassle of converting my coin into several different coins just to bet on an attractive site. Bitcoin has till date worked for me. It's not enough for me to switch.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: «Transfer crypto - GET CASH» on: May 26, 2019, 01:10:37 AM
This look like another good looking ponzi. People should be very careful before sending their money to any sites whether it be one promising you interest, an exchange or even a gambling site. 90% of such sites are now scam. So do a proper research in threads related to the site and look for reviews before deciding to deposit.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you watch the matches you're gambling on on: May 25, 2019, 04:36:41 PM
Two and a half year ago I decided to be a cable cutter, so I canceled my cable subscription, that included around 10 sports channels, after that, I have lived with  movie and series streaming options like Netflix, the only time I paid to get access to stream sport was for one month at the 2018 world cup.

But I still gamble each day on sports, most of my gamble is on football, but I never or almost never watch any games live.

How important is it to be able to watch the matches to make correct bets on the teams. I don't think it has made any difference for me, I still withdraw more money than I deposit from my sport bookmakers.

My question is, do you watch the games your gambling on?

Most of them yes. Actually I bet on matches that I watch.
I love watching football, horse racing, cricket, tennis and basketball. Esports is something I bet in but don't like watching.
Many times I also bet on matches depending on the stats like the tennis player I don't know about.

86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to resist? on: May 24, 2019, 02:51:57 AM
Resisting is difficult but it develops with practice.
Whatever be the sum of money be, online, it just seems to be the number and people start caring less until they have cleared off their balances.
Controlling measures could be not depositing all of your coins at once, dividing your gambling budget an non gambling coins and most importantly thinking about being reasonable and responsible to the people you love.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Petition to remove Craig Wright's name from Bitcoin Whitepaper's copyright on: May 24, 2019, 02:19:32 AM
I don't think a change.org petition would do anything when copyright is entirely a law based issue.
If you really want to remove the name, you should start a lawsuit. I don't think a mass pressure can lead to change in laws unless its a civil war.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to speed up the process of crypto trading? on: May 23, 2019, 12:49:11 AM
You should use stablecoins.

For example, EURS allows user to efficiently send money across borders, utilizing the speed and peer-to-peer nature of blockchain transactions while also providing a stable store of value. Whether you're doing payroll for your business or just paying back a friend for coffee, EURS lets you send money instantly with no intermediaries.

More info: https://raidofinance.eu/analytics/view/173

But some exchanges charged insanely high deposit and withdraw fees for stable coins. It's sometimes better to transfer with low valued popular altcoin to make it fast and with low fees. I mostly use BCH, Litecoin or Dogecoin.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: sick of high fees Ive moved over to alts on: May 23, 2019, 12:47:01 AM
I used to be in the bitcoin core crowd but after still paying ridiculous fees recently Ive moved over to bch and SV, I Guess this is kind of a rant, but I dont understand who the hell wants to pay high fees to send money to someone.

The fees are relatively lower than they were before. You just need to adjust the fees according to your urgency. I'm doing most of my transactions below 50 cents. Though 50 cents is still high if you consider other alts.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best IEOs and IEO bounties on: May 22, 2019, 04:13:30 PM
Among the popular IEO, Harmony is one. They have been running a bounty program even before the binance partnership and with it getting the lauchpad of binance, the attraction towards it's bounty has highly increased. Though I believe token bounties are a better earning, I prefer quick cash for my work.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never buy too much coins because you would eventually forgot gosh on: May 22, 2019, 12:06:52 AM
So, as you guys know, most coins will do swap when they perform blockchain upgrades or changing the coins to to a new coin

I just forgot about one of my coins and the swap was ended in the 31st of December
and guess what?

I just lost 0.3 btc because of it
God damn this is so painful

Been holding the coins since 2 year ago in the ICO stage
Never make such mistake guys remember

This happened to me too. Sometimes I don't care about the coins I invested and stays away from the market for months. Sometime I forget about buying a coin and keeping it in some exchange. I've even lost 2FA of a couple of exchanges and can't get in.
So, it would be better to use a few exchange and keep your track of investment. If you needed to use a different exchange, keep a written note about it.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: STEP TO TAKE WHEN PAYMENT IS BEEN DELAYED BY AN ONLINE CASINO on: May 21, 2019, 11:54:57 PM
Then I think that the site is not a good gambling website because they delay the payment.
Did you ask them by contacting the support system?
Because if one gambling site has offered something good for the gamblers, but they don't have an active support system, then we need to curious and suspicious, why they don't reply the message from the members.
And if we wait for days but they still don't reply to the message then the site could be another scam or they are very busy to reply one by one of the messages from the members.
My suggestion is to give them another time and let them reply to you, and if they are not giving any reply, then you need to leave the website and moves to another gambling website.

We can't just conclude on that. Even the best of instant payment sites delays payment if they find something suspicious.
Double withdrawing and using gambling site as a mixer has been the major reason for such delays.
It would have been better if the OP would have included the name of the site. But as he had not responded till, I suppose his problem was solved by the support.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Bitcoin SV starting to grow? on: May 21, 2019, 11:45:56 PM
It think it was just a short term hike as the founder of Bitcoin SV, Craig wright applied for the copyright of Bitcoin whitepaper to prove himself to be satoshi.
And some people not realizing the situation jumped into the altcoin endorsed by the creator of bitcoin. Though price is hanging around $100, I believe it would again decrease when people starts to dump.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The perfect solution to scam in the crypto space on: May 21, 2019, 11:38:28 PM
The rate of scam and hacks in the cryptocurrency market keeps growing at an alarming rate. In my opinion there best solution to these crimes in the cryptocurrency market are

1 ICO regulations: if there is ico regulations then investors should only invest in ICOs that are certified and meets the required standards. This will reduce the scam rates as fake ICOs will not be able to raise money for investors anymore

2 Smart contract Auditing: I think in other for coins and exchanges to avoid hacks and attacks they should constantly audit their smart contracts at regular intervals (like every 2 weeks or every month).  Doing this will help them detect the bugs and loop holes in their smart contracts and correct it before it is used by hackers.

Who would regulate the ICOs? And why would ICOs follow this regulations. We'd need a global and powerful organization if we really want to regulate ICOs but almost all countries still prefer to act as cryptocurrency doesn't exist.
Smart contract is a good idea and some ICOs did used them but it just prevents the issuer for spending all money at once.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian btc traders suicide paying off senior cop for investment made during ATH on: May 21, 2019, 04:26:50 PM
It's sad to see people blindly believing in something and giving up their life savings in hope for a get rich quick dream.
Bitcoin and crypto are a great technology, no doubt on that. But the economic part of them is highly manipulated and unregulated.
Though it can yield you very high profit, they can also be valueless in the future. So, diversifying the investment is key to not getting killed by ownself.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories and Possible Solutions on: May 21, 2019, 01:39:29 AM
I recently heard a story about Gambling addicts from a worker who works as a manager on the floor. They are the ones who check and manages tables, and they are the one to approve different kinds of transactions there.

Anyways, it's about a person who is an addict who isn't going anywhere. He said that in his shift, let's say it's the morning shift, he saw the person there, playing. Nothing out of the ordinary, but when my friend says he is going out of his shift, he is still there, the player, so, at that time, it's quite okay because it's just almost 8 hours. When he came back the next day, that same guy with the same clothes is still there.

Just a reminder that there are people who really need help, but not interested in helping themselves.

I've know a gambling addict. He really knows how bad is gambling and wants to get rid of it. But whenever he gets money, he can't resist from gambling. Staying away from gamble and not coming online did helped him for some time but you just can't stay away from society long. And as you come into the society, you find gambling is much better than everything else.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: May 21, 2019, 01:36:50 AM
That's it baby.

That's how the creators of GOT decided to ruin the best show ever in the TV history, which started as epic story and ends up like a dud bomb.

Visually and vfx point of view last episode was good and some of my fav shots comes from the last episode. other than that nothing.

Will wait for Martin's book from here now.
Heard the books were only up to season 6 of the television series.
So Dan and Dave were just making it up as they went along starting at season 7. Cheesy

Yup they diverted from the books from season 7 and the books and the series now have a different story. The final season was plot was selected from 7 spin offs from their writers. Though the plot is not that bad but they missed important details hurrying to finish the story.

99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble only with Bitcoin and do you have other favorite alt-coin? on: May 18, 2019, 02:33:42 PM
Hello,
Many sites are now starting to accept more and more different crypto currencies, for example Luckygames now accepts 101 coin and all of them seems to be active.
My favorite is still Bitcoin and Doge.
Whats your favorite coin that you use for online gambling and if it is not accepted would you convert it to Bitcon to try and play online gambling games?

I've been gambling with bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum and Litecoin. They are readily available and in case of the latter three the transaction fees are low.
Ehtereum is also the favorite gambling currency for dapps. And Dogecoin is easy to calculate as it can be gambled in whole numbers.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What emotions does cryptocurrency make you feel? on: May 18, 2019, 02:11:59 PM
From an emotional point of view, what emotions drive you to adopt cryptocurrency?

Fear of the government? Desire to get rich quick? The desire to be a part of a movement? A little bit of each?

The first thing that got me into crypto is difficulty in making trade and transfer of money specially out of country.
The second motive is of course the probable bull rise and the profit it would bring to me.
Third is my general rebellion against the established authorities of my country and the world.
