81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 19, 2019, 10:25:29 PM
We need more exchanges as now the market is down and most of the big exchanges have become insolvent, have been hacked and some just couldn't manage to earn enough to keep the site running.
In your reply unfortunately I do not see the adequacy. Why create hundreds of exchanges if they do not have the funds even to maintain the health of the sites?I met quite a lot of exchanges that simply disappeared and their sites did not work and my funds remained there. Since then I have used proven and reliable exchanges.
Maintaining the exchange site shouldnt be costy and shouldnt be a big problem to the owner because they have a big capital , they have huge cash since theiry business is an exchange ,they collect money from other users but if they eventually dissapear then they really intend to do it because they maybe have a dark plan and that plan is to scam inocent people. This why we should only use and trust popular exchange because they are already proven and tested compare to unrated ones  .
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reached 8000 - and what next? on: May 19, 2019, 04:21:09 PM
Obviously the next could be 9k usd and higher but seriously speaking , i dont know or we wont know what what will happen next to the value of bitcoin because bitcoin is too unstable and verry unpredictable these days  .

One time the value will become stable and other times the value is going upward consistently .  I think the best thing we can do so far is to prepare ( ex. Buy now when the price is not really that high  , or simply just wait and hodl )
83  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: May 19, 2019, 12:17:00 PM
there are a lot of things to invest but i fount out about Afrihealth i think that this would be a good one to invest because they focus on the medicine and for those who need help.
Is that a new ico ?  No offense but people nowadays are tired of new projects especially if its based on ico because its risky .  you wont know what will the project will be heading at even if they say that they have a uniqe idea that differ from the other  . and also , here on this thread we are only tackling the best cryptos , there were alot of them and its hard to choose .  how much more if you chose an ico ? I think that will be a pain on the ass  .
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Garbage Or Gold on: May 19, 2019, 11:38:03 AM
those people who said bitcoin is garbage might look in bitcoin as easy money platform
Why would they call bitcoin a garbage if they look in bitcoin as an easy money ? They should have value bitcoin .

i think they didnt know anything in bitcoin and panic selling when price drop
Even the people that think bitcoin is an easy money still do have some knowledge on it because their money is at risk here  .  they dont want to give away their money as a form of donation if they dont know anything on thier investment  .  panic selling is also normal especially if they see the price is rising .

there are lot of opportunity in crypto they just need to learn more and undestand the true value of it
Yeah thats true meyt . crypto is more than a payment system  but the true value of crypto is by using it as a payment method not as a form of business
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin,Litecoin,Ethereum,Ripple,Doge on: May 19, 2019, 05:52:07 AM
Other than ripple, you can choose anyone from the listed coins although choosing bitcoin will reduce the chance of gaining more percentage. I would be invested into Litecoin and Ethereum mostly.

Why do you think think choosing bitcoin will reduce thr chance of earning more ?  When bitcoin is the one that controls all cryptos   . What ever happen to bitcoin will have a chain reaction to the rest of the coins   . Investing on ripple , eth , and ltc is not bad but we should first prioritze bitcoin .  You can allocate 50% for bitcoin and the rest goes to alts or you can aim for 70/30 for a better profit  .

Comparing to bitcoin the price of ethereum, Litecoin, ripple and doge is affordable. From the above mentioned list I prefer to make investments over ethereum and Litecoin which will surely show big growth. In short when bitcoin touch $20k surely ethereum will touch $1000, and with Litecoin surely can get a $500.

But i think you can earn more if will invest more on bitcoin because bitcoin do already have a high base price and how much more if bitcoin price pumps ?  While other coins only have a small base value and they wont also pump too much and they only pump rarely
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Hits $270: $300 Next? on: May 19, 2019, 04:38:41 AM
Well in that case, for sure none of us here can't tell if ETH by tomorrow will become 300$ or next week.
Because majority of the people in the forum knows that price in the market was too unpredictable.

thats true meyt we all cant possibly predict the price of all cryptos including eth because they are all unstable and aside from unstability .  cryptocurrencies are also prone to manipulation and other factors which could affect their price but let say im going to predict the price of eth i can say that 300 usd is possible and will be achieve next week or two since the value of eth right now is kinda bit high  but 300 usd is not its last destination  .  i still expect more for eth  .
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties with limitations pays higher rewards on: May 19, 2019, 04:01:40 AM
I think most bounties don't do it this way because more participants means more exposure of the project.
It depends on the bounty manager . some manager prefer quality over quantity which means they will limit the participants to a high profiled users or user that only writes high quality post but this isnt really effective for the exposure of the project  .

i witnessed a campaign like this before and all if them have failed , right now the campaign that holds alot of participants are the ones that became succesful and still on this game  .
88  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? Important Weekly close! on: May 19, 2019, 01:28:47 AM
I also feel the market has recently experienced price increases. That does not mean the bear market is over.

Bear market means the value of the cryptos are dropping but based on what you say , you are reffering to the bull  . Currently the price is in the middle of the bear and the bull because the value is not that high and its not also that low  .

In other words, the increase in the value of bitcoin has climbed slowly followed by bearish. And I hope the events of 2017 - 2018 will happen again.

Yes it is and its normal  that after a pump the value is also followed be a dump because its expected that people will sell to earn a profit  . History can repeat itself but lets hope that good events will only repeat ( 2017 hype for example ) and not those past bears  .
89  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What trading strategy do you guys use? on: May 19, 2019, 12:28:39 AM
Hey guys, what kind of trading strategy do you use? and Why? What's the effectivity rate?
Everyone has a strategy and secondly my own strategy may and may not work on your own overview, and also it's all depends on the the pattern we all use. Try and get hold of your own techniques and master it. Not everyone can predict the market trends.
I agree. My opinion may not work with others so we should learn to master our own strategies. I still prefer to go on long term holding for now with my bitcoins and do some day trading with some of my stable coins and when the market also is in a good condition. We may differ in our own strategies but as long as we know what we are doing eventually in trading, then we will still end up trading profitably.

I see that your strategy is pretty common , long  term hodling and trading . That strategy can work on all people because others love to trade while other love to invest or hodl  . The only difference is the peoples mindset , some are patient enough to continue what they do without getting bored to early while some are impatient and will prefer to sell even at a loss  . I dont trade so i dont have my own strategy but i do invest . My strategy is also common , that is to buy low and sell high   .
90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: start trading again carefully and don't be too ambitious to get big profits ...! on: May 18, 2019, 10:52:32 AM
That's the main problem a trader is facing. When they earn peofits, they want more and they want huge. That is called, "greed". I do realized that many times and countless times I fall because of that ambition. You were right, let's not too ambitious to earn big profits to keep our track in trading and let us create a positive mindset.

Having that kind of mindset is not bad but its actually good and bneficial in the long run because that gives you an edge to push your self more  . I remeber once , there was a saying that says dont limit your self . Dont say that you already reach your goals , instead aim for more . The purpose why we are here trading is because of the money, because of the profit ,we all want to earn more and we all want to earn big  .
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you buy a coffee using BTC during current times? on: May 18, 2019, 09:55:03 AM
Oh yes why not ?  What wrong with buying a coffee using bitcoin ? When bitcoin itself is legal currency and already being use on almost anything .if your concern is about the fees or the transacting time well its fully dependent on the price of bitcoin  .

If the fees were a bit expensive i think im not going to buy a cheap or a single coffee but ill buy the expensive one or ill buy more coffee so that the expensive transaction fee will be more worth it .  And its not our job to wait , once we pay we should get the item and leave  .
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is Climbing Up. on: May 18, 2019, 09:14:39 AM
... Hopefully Bitcoin will move towards the 5 digit mark after that (probably by next month).

Sure it is possible to happen but we cant say by next month or whatever specific dates that we can think of . We must not forgot that cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin are still unpredictable due to thier volatile nature  .

The momentum can get disrupted in case we get negative news of any kind.

Momentum can always get disrupted with or without negative news because news isnt the only factor that makes the price change  .

Cryptopia closed down a few days back, and surprisingly it didn't had any impact on the prices. But the same can't be said about some of the bigger exchanges.

I thought cryptopia has been hacked and close a long time ago ?  There were too many negative reviews about this exchange but this doesnt make any impact to the market because cryptopia dont have much users  not unlike to other bigger exchanges out there .
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If there is a store like Amazon or ebay that accepts only BTC would you use it? on: May 18, 2019, 06:58:08 AM
It all depends on the amount of fee that we would face on ordering at some online store like that,
For example we all know that there would always be a shipping fee and of course we are talking about crypto so there would be a transaction fee.
So why would I use my crypto if it would cost more than just paying with Fiat?

Shipping fee is only normal on an online shopping sites . Usually you will incure a higher shipping cost if your from a province area  but the transaction fee will always be dependable on the price of cryptos  .

The lower the cryptos value the lower the fees and the higher the cryptos  value the fee will also be higher  . Online shopping is not for all especially if you a budget person  , you will always find online items expensive than on local  .
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another trap for ETH? on: May 18, 2019, 05:49:00 AM
very big trap, is this the end of bull? https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/ethereum
Just chill, it's common to happen like this. After a big pump, a dump will coming too. It's actually happened so many times before and for me it's not a trap.

Btw just look at the market right now, i think it's starting go up again.

Many users call it a trap when the pump does not continue or when the pump only remains for a short duration of time  but like what you said , this things arent new because this do happens at all times . And just like what the popular saying said ,what comes up must comes down   . That is the favorite tagline of cryptos   .@consideritdone no its not the end of the eth's bull run because there isnt any bull run that happened  . The increase for eth was only small and only considered as a normal recovery  .
95  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will go a bit down, ALTS a lot down, then BTC again a lot up on: May 18, 2019, 04:42:51 AM
Of course we would be a little think that a bull run probably happen, but what happens now certainly makes our hopes fade, the increase price is not more dominant, the price increase does not last for a long time, it means bullrun has not happened yet.
You mean to say that a bull run doesnt happen yet but what only happen is a bull trap  ?  You maybe right because the price drops fast but this does not cause for our hopes to fade because we already see that bitcoin can still do amazing things  .

correction still often occurs like happened today. OP was right, the price will drop by a few percent, so does the altcoin, and it will probably rise again afterwards.
The good thing is we got chance to re-buy
Yeah that is the advantage of having a correction  . We still have another chance to buy back and prepare for another possible bull run ( real bull run i mean )   . Btc increase lately but i dont see that alts follow . Alts are still down so its not shocking at all
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin recover again above $ 8000? on: May 18, 2019, 03:56:14 AM
It actually did but it did not last for long. I've read that a whale dump 5k of bitcoin hard on bitfinex and it goes to $6k but it still manage to recover to $7k shortly. This people who wants to stop btc success is really giving us a hard time everytime we are on the middle of a bull run.
Whales may stop the growth of bitcoins but whales is also the reason on why we see pumps and bull runs because whales are the only one that can buy at a verry large volumes   . They can manipulate the market at all time whenever they like and we cant do anything about it  . Anyway i think bitcoin can still recover again to 8k usd because its currently value is not really that low and we can see that bitcoin is still showing signs of active growth
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: pump end or only correction? on: May 18, 2019, 02:50:53 AM
To me, I don't know its a correction or fall dump, in crypto world unpredictable is usual, I just everything its just correction and the market price will rise up again and again. I really hope *crossfinger

Pump ending and correction are i think still the same because both defines the fall of the price but these are only normal phenomenal events .

Everyone is expecting that after an increase the price can again decrease and after the decrease the price can again rise higher than its previous base price  .

price fall is also beneficial because investors are waiting for that moment so there is nothing to worry about  .
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ebay accepts crypto? on: May 18, 2019, 02:16:34 AM
Maybe this is what caused the sudden rise up in price when there was news of ebay soon accepting cryptocurrency as payment and the advertisements which caused some confusion during the concensus event during this same time.
Now with them denying it this might have caused the drop in price as well. Roll Eyes
Oh crypto. Cheesy
I dont believe that news like this will cause ups or downs because if the company will decide to accept a certain crypto they wont buy that crypto , people or shoppers wont also rush to buy that crypto just because they want to use it as a shopping/paying tool   . The flow of the crypto market will still be the same as what they'v used to . Investors/traders will only buy crypto according to their needs  but overall  this news was still great , its nice to see that a reputable and big company like ebay is now joining the trend  .
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction fee has gone up by 10x during the last two weeks on: May 18, 2019, 12:08:34 AM
I always use the LUNO wallet, there are no fees for LUNO deposits, even for transactions to fiat currencies. withdraw funds depending on your conditions.  there is no fee for buying / selling bitcoin, and sending / receiving Bitcoin.

Luno wallet ?  Thats new to my ears and eyes but thats great if they dont require a transaction fee when sending but i think its only available for luno to luno wallet  and theres no also depositing fees for every kind of wallet  afaik  though you will be charge some fees when you are going to cash in or to buy coins from some brands of wallet that you are using  . its also normal to see a high transaction fees thesedays because the price of bitcoin is also skyrocketing  .
100  Economy / Economics / Re: 100 ways to get Bitcoin, collected on: May 17, 2019, 07:43:41 PM
This article would be very useful for newbies, but there are many ways described in this article not that useful. Anyway, i believe the best way to earn bitcoin are through trading and participating in bitcoin signature campaign.
Faucets, airdrops and bounties are not useful anymore,we just have to stick with bitcoin to earn bicoins without any capital or can be more profitable through trading it.

What do you mean by sticking in bitcoins ?  Bitcoin is a crypto , a currency not a job   .  Or maybe you mean to say bitcointalk ? Working on sig campaigns and bounties on this forum does not need a capital aside from your hardwork and time . If you earn you can use this funds for trading or investing if ever you want to grow your coins more evenly  .

I only know a number of ways to get this bitcoin, for example by mining bitcoin, but this way we have to set up some tools to mine this bitcoin and also need capital
Mining nowadays can now be also done on any device including mobile phones , laptop and pc .  Some are plug and play , you dont need to set up any tools and you dont also necesary need a capital to be able to get started  . The only problem is that mining is becoming more less profitable and fully depends on what device or mining hardware that you are using .
