I do not understand the main essence of the project. can someone explain please?
Introducing cryptocurrencies in our local language to average people for daily use, and not only as a form of long term investment. We're preparing our presentations and will soon launch it through articles and real life explanations. I do not understand the main essence of the project. can someone explain please?
I thing they are just trying to utilize a nostalgia for both former country's Yugoslavia and currency dinar. It's not about nostalgia here. Don't mind the definition "Yugoslav", we are not referring to ideologies even if we do have our own opinions; that's just to specify the whole Southern Slavic area. It surely is less weird than having to list all the pseudolanguages people have been claiming to speak to this day. Our project is purely for instructing the area about cryptocurrencies as a useful mean. How many people have chosen it in Yugoslavia now? Only by increasing the publicity of the community, people will be familiar with changing their means of payment. And that's what we are going to do. Dude it's not Yugoslavia any more, nowadays the term west Balkans are being used often. We do not represent Albania or such countries; Yugoslavia may not exist but it's a term we all understand very well and we know wether we're part of this concept or not. We're not running this project to debate country definitions, Yugoslavia is a concept everyone from our area clearly knows and so we can get in contact faster with eventual audiences. Also, it is not so unlinked from the project itself as our aim is to overcome those borders you're talking about; many people have to experience high fees for daily transactions. |

FYI I do not actually see vdinar listed anywhere on the bisq exchange.
You must check into alternative cryptocurrencies, it's not on their website but on their software. It's not user-friendly but yes, it's listed. |

I mined vDinar once and I have lost all my coins...
Later I tried it again by solo mining, the miner did not work...
it seems like this coin isn't working properly and that fixing it needs to much work, to put it at an exchange is great, but it isn't working properly, then it is like driving a car with flat tires, you can drive it, but you will only damage it more
The only issues we had were the very first day, no one ever got any mining issue after that. I don't get what's the "not working properly" part of it, we are getting all kinds of softwares for vDinar: miners, pools; all of them are working great. There's much work to do, but for additional softwares; there's no fixing part involved, unless someone finds a bug. Is there will be some airdrop or something? Where can I found more information about Vdinar?
This is decentralised as it used to be, there's no funds raised on start. I get as a dev the same mining share everyone can get, so there's no airdrops; you can easily mine dinars even with a CPU at the moment. You can find informations about vDinar both in static webpages as our main website or by joining our groups/channels. I reccomend you to join the Discord group. |
