Hi, I joined twitter campaign STASH! I have the option to choose between tweet and retweet, right? What matters is to do something so the stakes are counted, right?

Don't regret having spent your BTC, you have helped it reach the price it has now!

I only regret not buying BTC back in 2012 though...
89  Economy / Trading Discussion / Best books about wall street trading psychology to apply it to Crypto on: September 07, 2017, 08:47:30 PM
Hello everyone after seeing the recent of events of traditional wall street traders getting rich with crypto trading

https://www.forbes.com/sites/nathanvardi/2017/08/22/wall-streets-cowboy-traders-find-new-riches-in-bitcoin-and-cryptocurrencies/#6c02398614ac

https://cointelegraph.com/news/cryptocurrency-trading-helps-make-traditional-wall-street-traders-millionaires

I have been a firm believer that you can apply traditional stock trading psychology and techniques to crypto trading but with a different mentality because of the far greater volatility of crypto

So I'm looking for book recommendations about trading psychology/traders tips/biographies (online courses also work) to try to learn something that I could apply to crypto trading.

Thanks in advance!

92  Local / Esquina Libre / Re: Un saludo a todos, me presento on: September 05, 2017, 04:19:37 PM

93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Monero with an Antminer L3? on: September 04, 2017, 02:59:09 PM
Antminer L3 + will not be able to mine Monero. It is designed to extract coins on the script algorithm
To mine Monero, I advise you to use a video card! I hope soon will create Asic specifically for Monero)

Well that explains why I couldn't find any mine to Asic in google

I might try to mine minero with a RX 480 but I will first keep looking for more profitable alternatives
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Monero with an Antminer L3? on: September 04, 2017, 03:13:37 AM
No there are no Asic miners for monero and you can mine monero only with gpu and the funny part is that the total network hashrate of monero is 214 megahash and you are putting more than double hash rate that's why you are seeing profit of $12 million which is totally wrong
And keep in mind that if you mine monero with gpu rigs the hash rate speed of your cards will be in sols or simple hashes per second.Google the speed for monero for different cards and than put those numbers in the calculator and than you will be able to get the profit accurately

Thanks ! I will definitely do that!
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Monero with an Antminer L3? on: September 04, 2017, 01:46:35 AM
Monero uses a completely different algorithm than the L3+; the L3+ mines Scrypt. Monero uses CryptoNight and is completely incompatible with Scrypt, hence the numbers are fucked up. The calculator is right for the most part if only you actually had that much CN hashpower.

Thank you so much for the in-depth answer, are there any ASIC for Monero right now?
96  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are bitcoins only for the educated and knowledgeable people only? on: September 04, 2017, 01:41:01 AM
Not at all, the difficulty of using Bitcoin has gone downhill in the past years
right now anyone can buy Bitcoin using a Visa or Mastercard in CoinMamma or Cex.Io or Coinbase

But it does take some understanding of the underlying technology to see the value of such action, so to answer your question : No there is no need of intelligence or knowledge to use Bicoin but Yes some understanding of it.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: September 04, 2017, 01:37:38 AM
I fully subscribe to Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences :
www.tecweb.org/styles/gardner.html

Unfortunately that means that ther are people who are extremely lacking in the more financial oriented intelligences or that are fully "tactical" and have very few capacity for strategic planning.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining Monero with an Antminer L3? on: September 04, 2017, 01:29:05 AM
Hello, I'm pretty new into mining but a colleague and I are discussing the possibility of buying an antminer (either D3 or L3+)

So I was looking for the profitability calculator and wanted to know if anyone has mined Monero with either hardware

When I checked the L3+ i see the Hashrate is supossed to be 504 MH/s after I introduce that
into cryptocompare I get some rather funny numbers (most probably a bug)
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/xmr?HashingPower=500&HashingUnit=MH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=200&CostPerkWh=0.16
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Pros and cons of bitcoins for consumers and businessmen on: September 01, 2017, 05:21:31 PM
PROS

Instant transactions
Great refuge against inflation
International mobility

CONS
Because of the great volatility you could have to trade at a loss if you need cash during a burst
Some higher fees in certain sectors
Not yet massively accepted
100  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: September 01, 2017, 07:32:29 AM
Well here in Latin America Colombia just opened their first BTC ATM so we can expect some retail there to start acepting crypto soon, then its just a matter of time for the rest of the continent
