81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need to change on: September 02, 2018, 10:48:51 AM
I have only gained good things from cryptocurrencies (they have changed my life for the better), however, I am frustrated at those who are in for money, and only money. They hurt themselves as well as cryptocurrencies future. I am sad that I still can't use bitcoin to purchase the things I want, as it isn't used as a payment currency/method. I am sad that there are big financial institutions that want (and do their best) to wipe the crypto world out, and instead of working together as a crypto-community to thrive, we are fighting, arguing, and scamming each other. Where I live, the government relentlessly tightens and destroys our financial lives—I was lucky to have found salvation in cryptocurrencies when others struggled.

We need to show the world that we are not just a bunch of wanna-be millionaires, that we actually care.

You are right, we need to change for the better.Bitcoin world is full of scammers that take advantage on newbies, rather than helping them to improve themselves in investing. They want to be on top,but they do not suffer to achieve their goals. They used bitcoin in illegal way or in a bad way that is why we cant blame those people who leave bitcoin. Some of us only care about the benefits we get from bitcoin, we do not mind what will happen in bitcoin.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Theories with Bitcoin Futures on: September 02, 2018, 08:17:36 AM
Hello guys, what is your theory regarding Bitcoin Futures. Some say Bitcoin will dip, some say will double. What say you? What's your theory? Smiley
I dont usually believe in theories because it makes us expect on something. But if I have to give some thoughts about this then for me, Bitcoin will rise before this year ends. It will be more popular then many people will prefer to invest in bitcoin rather than banks. In that time bitcoin will have a lot of improvements, brighter future is waiting for bitcoin.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it true that bitcoin is a disaster for local banks on: September 02, 2018, 07:27:57 AM
I heard the news, that banks are afraid of bitcoin and can replace banks, because the excess of bitcoin is much compared to local banks
I think that somehow this is true because people choose to invest in bitcoin rather than banks. Well there were so many advantages in investing in bitcoin than banks. You can handle your own money in bitcoin and you are able to earn huge profit in bitcoin. Bitcoin is getting popular nowadays that may help other people to discover bitcoin.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How well do you understand Bitcoin Investment? on: September 01, 2018, 05:56:24 PM
For the past months now, I have been studying and monitoring the Bitcoin trading market. I realized that, Bitcoin investment shouldn't necessarily be a long-term one (you buy bitcoin and hold it till the price double or triple). It is very possible to make about 0.35 to 1% of profit on an average within two to three hours if you carefully study or monitor and understand the trading trends. If you agree with me, share your thoughts on this. If you also disagree, i will appreciate your reasons and thoughts.... Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool
Bitcoin can be used in long term and short term investment , it depends on you what will you do. It doesnt matter what kind of term you used , what matter is your patience. If you have long patience then thats good you can do the long term investment.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: situation about the condition of bitcoin ! on: August 31, 2018, 08:12:18 PM
when we see the situation of bitcoin prices that are constantly falling, what can you do? is it only enough to read articles about information only. ask for instructions and suggestions. Thank you for the time.

regards

indoagung
We must stay calm unlike others who choose to panic over everything. I hope that bitcoin will rise at the end of the year. Well the best thing to do now is to hold your bitcoin and sell it when the price rises so you are able your desired profit.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is dangerous.... on: August 31, 2018, 07:23:01 PM
Hello everyone, Today i'd like to share my story.
So in 2017 in sept, I first mined some electroneum coins and they were worth like $200 later, I as a student couldn't afford to buy Bitcoins for trading or holding, So mining did helped me ETN was a good coin, i would mine like 50 a day and it turned 20cents each, I got addicted to crypto and trading but i was scared to trade and lose those 200$ because then i'd have nothing, So from Sept to Nov, i'd just watch graphs and look at coins, Watch videos, try to learn trading and everything and in December i started trading and you guys know what happened at December 2017, But i was prepared so my $200 turned into like $150, still a loss but anyway.
But it went like this and i kept trading and everything, and i was in love with it...... Sadly in my Exams, I failed 3 papers in total 5... Because of Crypto, it takes you away from Real world, So i was disapointed because of it.
Now i trade carelessly without emotions, and i went above $200.. I saw many times and now experience told me its true that trading is 10% skills, 10% luck, 10% patience and 70% emotions....

good luck and enjoy your lives and don't ruin anything.

Edit: I still have high hopes from Crypto and i think this will change my life and i'll be not worrying about Studies later, But like people say "Don't put everything in one Basket" , so always have a backup. Study is my first priority and Bitcoin can be my side struggle and with luck and hard work, i might not have to worry about studies then.
Maybe its because of you. There is a chance that you can lose some money in crypto and because of that your teeling others that its dangerous even tho its your mistake. You choose to take the risk that is why this happen on you.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin continue to fall this year? on: August 27, 2018, 12:55:47 PM
Will Bitcoin continue to fall this year?  After the $18,000+ rise, bitcoin has not yet recovered from the great fall. Will it continue to go lower and lower? Or do we have hope that it will hit high this year?
What do you think fellas?
That question also runs into my mind, but im hoping that it will go back to normal when the year ends. But for now, I will continue holding my bitcoin and wait patiently until the price rises. I will be happy if ever that it go back from what it is before because bitcoin are not yet full recovered.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Traveling in this City Can Use Bitcoin! on: August 26, 2018, 03:50:05 PM
More than 30 business outlets in Agnes Water and the City of 1770 in Central Queensland are currently receiving crypto currency as a means of payment. People in the coastal city call themselves the first "digital currency-friendly" tourist city in Australia.

The goal is to attract an international tourist market niche, which can pay for various products and services with digital currencies such as bitcoins that can be converted to Australian dollars.

Local real estate agent Gordon Christian said he had gained the support of local entrepreneurs to embrace digital currency technology into their city to boost key industries in their region of tourism.

Gordon Christian said the strategy was aimed at attracting more tourists to the area and attracting tourist alternatives.
Its nice to see that the Australia easily adapt bitcoin , It helps people on travelling wherever they want to. This strategy helps the people who lives in Australian and even tourist. I hope this can inspire other country so they dont ban bitcoin , because bitcoin gives so many opportunities and even help the economy to rise.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm leaving Bitcoin on: August 26, 2018, 01:40:36 PM
No, this isn't related to the Bitcoinica hack. The hack just makes the choices obvious and straightforward.

I, Zhou Tong (Zhou is my surname), will discontinue all involvement in Bitcoin-related projects after the Bitcoinica incident has been fully resolved until further notice.

I always believe in Bitcoin, or simply anything that brings people financial liberty. I have heavily invested in Bitcoin (I purchased one 1,000 BTC gold coin from Casascius and will keep it for as long as I can). And I have enjoyed what I have done for the Bitcoin community.

Really, thank you for all the wonderful support. It feels great to have an experimental project become the "best thing since sliced bread", and run one of the most profitable businesses in a new economy. Bitcoinica has a total historical revenue equivalent to about 0.67% of the whole Bitcoin economy. Not even Apple can match this record in the real world economies.

The first time I read about Bitcoin was in late 2010. My first reaction was "these coins are cheap, maybe it just doesn't work". I learned about Bitcoin again in mid 2011, when the first bubble started. I bought my first Bitcoin when it fell to $8. I told all my close friends and classmates about Bitcoin, simply because I think it's a cool idea. The idea of a margin trading platform quickly went into my mind, and I started working on Bitcoinica.

I lied about the time it took to build Bitcoinica. (I said I spent one week on it.) I started on September 4, 2011 and launched on September 9, 2011. Just four and half days. In a week, trading volume passed one million dollars. I started making profits like crazy.

In November, an investor approached me to acquire Bitcoinica. Due to regulatory concerns, I agreed to the deal and signed the agreement. Bitcoinica was sold for a good price. However, since the investor is unable to arrange for a replacement team, I continued to become the sole operator until Team Intersango took over two weeks ago. The investor let me keep all profits until late January, the official handover time. After handover, he continued to offer generous salary and performance bonus every month. The investor demands his identity to be protected so I won't share more information on this.

I left school in Singapore and decided to continue my education in Australia. I made the decision because of the Internet industry, and the hacker culture. I'm a web developer and I want to become a really good one. I want to work with smart hackers and wonderful designers to change the world. Singapore isn't particularly good at this. (Obviously, US West Coast should be a better choice, but for some other reasons I didn't consider US.)

I have started working on another project (not Bitcoin-related) that is going to make a little difference on the Internet. So far I have achieved great progress and I'm pretty confident about this new venture.

My life hasn't changed much except that I became more confident after Bitcoinica's success. I realized that I have the power to make something profitable. Such kind of confidence is extremely hard to get, until you really experience a significant success. I worked on several projects before, and all of them failed eventually. I thought I was confident because I kept building new stuff and improving myself. But the real confidence comes from the success itself.

I failed at one thing though, that is generating value for the society. Bitcoinica did create a place for people to trade more efficiently and provide liquidity to the market. However, speculation is a zero-sum game (or negative-sum, strictly saying). I know there can be many justifications for Bitcoinica's value, but all of them are against my intuition and values.

With the confidence and the innate intuition to build wonderful things for a better world, I decided to move on. I didn't quit Bitcoinica because it's the only source of income that I currently have.

I know that my time is valuable and industry establishment is really important. I don't want my name to be remembered by only Bitcoiners. It's true that I believe in Bitcoin's potential, but not everyone believes. If I'm a influential person I wouldn't have to do this, but the best way to be known in the Internet industry is to build products that save people time, money and headaches.

I'm going to be a young entrepreneur that solves problems for everyone. I leave Bitcoin only because it doesn't help address my real needs. Making money isn't that important after all.

I'll be a Bitcoin lover forever, and I will come back to this forum regularly to discuss about the future that's in our own hands! I will keep the 1,000 BTC  gold coin as a lifetime investment and I'm pretty confident that it'll be the best investment ever in my life.

Bitcoin FTW!
We decide the thing we think is the best for us. I know that you have some sweet and bitter experience with bitcoin but take it as a lesson. Its your choice and decision, We cant blame you if you do it. but I hope you enjoy some moments with bitcoin. Maybe the situation of bitcoin now is not that good lets be patient and wait until bitcoin already recover.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we change the public's view of Crypto world? on: August 26, 2018, 01:00:56 PM
Guys we are very much aware how the crypto community through this great forum has helped most of us in terms of our finances but is so heartbreaking that the most of the public views only describes how insecure and unsafe the crypto community is. I do understand that cryptocurrencies are volatile and the issue of anonymity sometimes scares people away but y'all bear with me that if  crypto is explained to you and you really understand it properly you would not make wrong mistakes and get swayed away by panic sales or submit your private key as ethereum wallet address. Is it a public campaign or some other form of tutorial that we should organize to help explain crypto to the world because believe it or not the blockchain technology of cryptocurrencies is being admired by most organizations and some of them have decided to run their operations with the use of blockchain technology. What can we do as a community to help change the public view of Crypto?
We can share our own experience with them , in that way we can help them to see the real side of cryptoworld. Calmly explain to them how crypto helps us in investing. We have different point of views when it comes to cryptocurrency. Besides, we cant blame them if that is what they think.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS IT TRUE THAT CYRPTOWORLD IS PRUNE TO HACKERS? on: August 25, 2018, 05:58:21 PM
The past year has seen the rise of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The increase as witnessed in the cryptoworld attracts many investors, ranging from those who understand the ideology of Bitcion and newbies whose idea was to get rich quick from investing into Bitcion world. The growth in cryptomarket also leads to increase in cybercriminals. The rate at which hackers were attacking exchanges are on the increase.

I just need your suggestion on how to curb menace of hackers in order to build investors confidence in this cryptoworld to optimum level.
Cryptoworld is full of hackers that is why we need to be aware in everything. We need to make sure that our bitcoin is secured. We need to know what is the best and safest wallet. Sometimes they target those people who was lack of knowledge about bitcoin , they take advantage on them like newbies.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DO MOST PEOPLE FORGET BITCOIN SO SOON? on: August 25, 2018, 04:09:42 PM
Anytime i see some members of this forum asking "Is Bitcoin dead"?, or "Is this the fall of bitcoin" i just become speechless because it is so shocking to hear that within just six months when bitcoin improved the financial status of people last year without any hard sweating people have forgotten about it so soon. I now understand the saying that "Men forgets easily". Well i can't really blame them but I know the few Real Crypto Enthusiasts like myself still believe in BITCOIN and we are going to keep investing in it because we know that the its value will rise with time.
They think that its the end of bitcoin already. We cant blame them , but for this kind of scenario we must here supporting bitcoin. They only want benefits from bitcoin but they didnt help bitcoin to grow. Its their decision lets just accept it.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Finally Call This the DEATH of Bitcoin?!? on: August 25, 2018, 03:21:33 PM
The scammers and crooks finally won! Congratulations because even your fiat will be near worthless at some point too! The economic freedom of the people is once again destroyed by the animalia raised by bad handlers.

To the "Lending" companies (hey man, do you think I can get my money back soon), I salute you.

To Bitmain and "the plan", I salute you.

To Wall Street who always knows my future, I salute you.

To the newbie crypto-millionaires, who only like the part about making easy money, I salute you.

To the lower middle-class who borrowed all the equity in their homes to buy crypto and told everyone about it, I salute you.

To the SEC who will wait until every crypto is worthless to go after anyone, I salute you.

To the old school crypto nerds, who cashed out in 2017 when they saw what was coming, great job!

I still remember the days when getting anything over a 1% yield on a bank account was something to brag about.

One day I will tell my grand kids about the time in 2017 when everyone except politicians were happy and it was a joy to work at any job because you had real money that actually could make you more real money. Time to find the next bubble...
Its not the end or death of bitcoin. Yes maybe the situation of bitcoin rughtnow is not that good , but to those people who were really determined will remain and continue supporting bitcoin no matter what happens. Just stay positive and be patient
94  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the opinions on bitcoin’s future on: August 25, 2018, 01:39:00 PM
Hello everyone, what is your opinions regarding Bitcoin Futures. Some say Bitcoin will dip, some say will double.I heard that most of the countries were going to change some rules on Bitcoin, That will effect on the value of the Bitcoin too. What will you say? What are your opinions?
A bright future is waiting for bitcoin. Many countries will get interested in bitcoin and they will accept bitcoin knowing that it can help their economy. May people will believe in bitcoin and the number of bitcoin investor will be more and more.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most Crypto investors are Cowards on: August 24, 2018, 04:01:43 PM
The answer is just simple, we all are cowards  Smiley. Everyone will like to wake up one day and find out that Btc has reached 50,000. All these people are scared to invest hugely in bitcoin but want to become  Crypto millionaire and Billionaire. You ask them why they are scared and they are like crypto is volatile and so on. This is the time to set the record straight make people realize what they are into. If you are scared then there is no need for you to join this amazing fraternity Smiley.
They are just afraid to lose their money and there is nothing wrong with that. In fact they are just making sure that the money they invest will grow. Investing is risky thats why we need enough knowledge so we can make wise decision.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Psychology when entering the Cryptocurrency market. on: August 24, 2018, 01:55:02 PM
TAKE RISKS

First of all, you have to "take risks". Repeat again, accept risk!
When you spend your money investing Crypto or any array, the potential exists, but also contains many risks. Securities are also risky, driving off the road every day is also risky. In general, it is impossible to predict what will come, our eyes can not see, think of things in the future. If you start, you accept the risks and in mind always get to know these things, you can start the journey, understand what is doing, why, why lose?
"Use the money you can control to invest"
"What's up with the reason, accept and move on?"
At that point, you will focus on the goal and make a profit.

DO NOT BE AFRAID

Second, uncertainty and always suspected spread around the world of investment. Large Crypto owners are called "whales" trying to manipulate the market in their own way. They use social networks, large news sites to spread distorted information that draws attention from the community. Finally, the benefits still belong to them, this is not too high, but for the Cryptocurrency market is too new, the community is too young. So ignorance is inevitable, just speculation and followers of the accusers.

Failure to listen to others say this coin will increase, this coin will fall. You need to have a plan for yourself, do not listen to rumors out there. All you have will be a great experience and keep trying!

REGRETS

When you see a strong growth from a coin and always have the thought that "Why did not I buy it before, have been reminded and then forget ..." That is called Fear Of Missing Out or FOMO. This syndrome occurs in a lot of people, but ignore it, do not follow it. Patience will help you to take long in this market Cryptocurrency.

WANT TO RICH SPEED

I suggest you rethink, do not have any job rich quick, if there are some cases but not you. Someone, sowing information for you when joining will be profitable ... Forget now. If you are a beginner, consider keeping a hold of money and not losing it. Then continue to experiment and do not like the last time ... You probably do not believe, but this is part of the investment, the most important thing is that you learn from it. Learn from the mistakes you make and try to make it better the next time. Failure will be difficult to overcome, for the same of the same, but realize these early will help you get ahead and get income in this harsh market.

P/S: Please contribute your comments in order to build this article !

Thankyou for sharing this , It can help us especially newbies. I really agree with that "take risk" because sometimes higher risk higher benefits. Take risk but let your knowledge help you to decide or to make some decision because one mistake can affect your btc.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO! Do Not Invest all you have on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies on: August 24, 2018, 01:08:34 PM
I have read several posts on this forum where people have claimed to have invested all the money they have on Bitcoin, I also read a post where a guy claimed to have used all the $20,000 his uncle gave him to also invest in Bitcoin, some even sold their landed property. The reason for these risks and others is the firm believe that Bitcoin would be $50,000 - $100,000 by the year 2019 or thereabout.

First, I must say that I admire the courage and high risk appetite of such persons. But, I must also warn.
Yes, It is good for everyone to have high hopes for Bitcoin, and also hope it gets to 100k USD in future, but you should also consider a safety factor in anything you do including investing.

Mathematically,

DO NOT Assume,
P(Success of future term) = 1 ; and
P(Failure of future term) = 0

This implies that, you must always leave a little fraction for probability of failure which in this case is the safety factor, no matter how little the fraction may be. Simply put, you don't have absolute control of what happens to Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies in the future.

Invest wisely, only invest what you can afford to loose

Just a piece of advice.

What are your own suggestions?
Thats right , its not good to invest all what you have in bitcoin since you cant determine your fortune. Investment is always risky and you dont know what will happen in the future. Your advice is very helpful especially for newbies.

I want to know what is the right time to invest in Bitcoin. Will it benefit in short term or in long term hold?
Now is the best time to invest in bitcoin. The price of bitcoin is very cheap so you are able to buy it and its good for long term investment since the situation of bitcoin is not that good but I know someday it will rise again , you just have to wait patiently.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thailand Legalize Crypto currency on: August 19, 2018, 08:23:10 PM
While there are several nations which are passing laws against crypto world.  Thailand has entered the list of the nations which have legalized crypto currency.  Thailand is mainly dependent on tourism industry.  So I think it is wise decision on t he part of a country where major source of income is from tourism.  So it will attract more tourists to this country.
It will benefit a lot to the country and is healthy signal for the health of Bitcoin family.
This is a great news for Thailand. Maybe their government can see the bright future with crypto currency. I hope that someday it will be legalized in other country too so everyone is able to invest , like in bitcoin. As the day passes investors keep increasing.
