Color me curious but is Yacoin the same as Yakcoin? First time I heard of this cryptocurrency so I'm not really sure if they're the identical to each another.

Yakcoin? Is this another new cryptocurrency? Can someone provide me the link? I would love to take a look. Smiley

Welcome to the #1 Bitcoin community Smiley

As mentioned above if you are mining bitcoins with a GPU it may not be worth it in comparison to other currencies. I know mining LTC is more profitable if you are a beginner at the moment.
Lots of people are jumping onto FTC these days. I would have done the same but somehow my cgminer refused to connect to the FTC pool & I'm' too lazy to re-install the OS hence LTC is here to stay, at least for me.

yep breaking down still Shocked

k guys make a hundred bucks. this is how. have ten coins? sell at 110. put buy order at 100. ten times 10 bucks a bit is 100.00. minus a few sell buy fees so maybe 95 bucks. not bad huh
I'm kinda new & most of the articles I read leans more on mining instead of trading. As such, may I ask which trading / exchange sites that has such a function (auto-sell & auto-buy at certain price threshold) implemented?

Thanks in advance.

Congrats.

I figure that I probably have a couple more months and about 50 posts left to go, LOL.
What's with the limitation?
87  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My first rig on: May 08, 2013, 05:04:58 AM
About to put together a single 7970 rig for my first mining experiment. I got a msi z77a-g43 board with 4 pcie slots, 4gb ram, i3 processor, 850 watt psu. Plan on adding the other 3 GPUs soon. Any tips or suggestions? I plan on mining LTC to start.
You don't really need an i3 to get the mining going. Just get the cheapest you can find will do.

I would recommend that you look for a 1200W PSU instead since you were planning to mine on 4 GPUs.

This is a variant of the long time listener, first time caller analogy in radio. I have been reading these forums for a long time, but decided it was time to get to doing something besides just reading.
I have been mining for a while. Nothing too hardcore, just a GPU or two, and so far, no asics in my future.

I want to start by thanking all the people and their work that made mining possible for me.
Thanks!
Which cryptocurrency are you mining at the moment? Since you mentioned ASIC, I would assume that it's bitcoin but AFAIK, mining bitcoin via GPUs are no longer recommended since the return is simply not worth it. Just looking for some opinions if you're willing to share. Smiley

what are you talking about, it's easy as 1, 2, 3, of course you need a wallet with that capability but is not that hard find one, bitcoin-qt has it.
Err... either you've misunderstood or you know of something new that most of us isn't aware of. Can you show us how to do it or provide an explanation on how to go about the procedure?
