How many GB have been paid out in the cash back program so far?

Every week about 4% of the bytes in circulation are changing hands. I suspect that in the next few months, the price will stabilize and major sellers will run out of bytes. I second Seeder's call for a roadmap and a newsletter would be great too.

I agree with Seeder. A roadmap should be publicized and marketing should be improved. Roadmap wouldn't take a whole lot of effort as it is mostly abstractions described in broad terms.

I know a big point of byteball is having simple human-readable contracts (that are not "Turing complete") but it might be prudent in terms of appeal to the markets to have plans to add features to the contract language so that more things could be done similar to ethereum with a "smarter" language. You possibly could still differentiate Byteball by aiming to reduce the possibility of screw-ups as in DAO hack etc while still allowing more smart contract functionality than currently exists on Byteball network. This way you could also hop on iota marketing strategy.

Markets would also probably like it if you brought on more devs in an official capacity. Perhaps compensating with percentage of remaining Byteball similar to/out of original dev reservation.

It looks like a case of incorrect math to calculate the distribution rate in the first round; is that the case?

This is the period of high and widely distributed supply. It may last a few months (or years if bitcoin goes back to $1000), but once it is done consolidating, it will be possible for the price to appreciate substantially within a new hype wave. All that is needed is time, marketing, and awareness.

bittrex is legally obligated to provide the distribution for the bytes held on its platform regardless of the option of withdrawal. This is like a stock broker taking the dividend of your stock from you.

If bittrex will not be giving me the 10% distribution I will be suing them; my withdrawal limit is not nearly enough to withdraw all before the distribution.

I anticipate that with this airdrop the price will actually soar afterwords because the market has over-adjusted the price based on previous post-airdrop dumps. This is especially true given that only around 10,000 GB will be given to the 1 million+ linked bitcoin.

I would use the service but imo the price is too high and the liquidity too low. I was thinking more like the range of 10+ GBB at .01-.02 GB per GBB
