81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reason why we look for a new project for investment purpose? on: August 11, 2020, 05:58:48 PM
New projects is very high risk but if you found a genuine and promising project it might bring you high reward. Some people wants to have a high return like x100 or more that is why they are risking on new projects getting a chance to buy it very cheap before it goes up. But I prefer existing projects that has already a reputation the risk is not that high but sometimes you need to wait for a long time before it moves. For example BAND just this July 2020 its price is about $2 and now look at it $14 huge profit for early investors, the only thing that is hard to determine is when are you going to place your entry on a certain token/coin.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I make my token conform? on: August 11, 2020, 05:31:19 PM
Conform? so you want to comply with the rules or laws, why not start to be approve by sec in your country? It is hard to be approved since it is cryptocurrency but some projects like blockstack has been approved by SEC take it as an inspiration. You know you got a long road to take before you can get there. I hope you are just planning it for now, because jumping into it without proper preparation will result to failure.
83  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why are mixers necessary? on: August 10, 2020, 09:14:49 PM
Coin Mixers are really helpful in making transactions hard to track or untraceable at all but it is giving some scammers an advantage they are using it to anonymize their transaction and exit freely which is not good for the crypto community, even though it is very useful if you are concern about your privacy it is a good alternative for privacy coins.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avalanche Dedicated thread for news, discussion and update. on: August 10, 2020, 08:45:53 PM
To be honest I don't trust any ICO's nowadays because most of them are a failure but good thing that Avalanche have raised a good amount which is pretty rare now. The fact that they have raise those amount I guess they have really good potential. Seeing your post I can say that you are following this project, I don't know anything yet about it, what does "Internet of Finance" means? Is it the same with decentralized finance?
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: August 10, 2020, 08:20:17 PM
Because their goal from the start is to earn money and that's it, they don't care about crypto adoption resulting to add bad image on crypto. They already earned money so they abandoned it. It's unfortunate but there are always people like that abusing and getting advantage of the investors. They should rot in jail but some of them has anonymous teams or fake photos, All we can do is be cautious not to be fool by those scammers.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 10, 2020, 07:53:14 PM
I guess if it is horse race I will just look on their previous performance to have a better chance to win. Personally  I like sports betting than purely luck based games. Chances on winning in sports bet is really high if it is only played by 2 teams or 2 person like basketball and boxing, you only need to select one of the team and thats it. Knowing the capability and ability of who you are betting on really helps but anything can happen in a sport, anyone can  make a comeback.
87  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic things that you need to know before starting in trading on: August 10, 2020, 07:27:00 PM
You are correct  there are some traders that has their own strategy I knew a guy before he does not into technical analysis more but he is making some profits, but of course he lose too. I don't know if he is just a lucky guy but he is just buying random coins and somehow works for him. I want to add on basic things to learn, I guess we need to familiarize the platform interface sometimes, each exchanges has unique interface sometime we get confuse and we end up buying at high price instead of selling high, it is a common newbie mistake.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Despite Many Participants, You Can Still Get Huge Rewards In Bounty. on: August 10, 2020, 06:53:42 PM
Yes, it is pretty possible by doing the hard task like translation, creating a review video, etc. but not all people have those talents to create those kind of stuff. They usually join the easy one like social media but I suggest trying the hard one or maybe learn some skills like creating stickers, gif. you could pretty much learn all that in youtube and google with the right device of course, having a high specs desktop is an advantage to create high resolutions videos.
89  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reminder: There Is No Such Thing As Easy Money on: August 10, 2020, 06:27:41 PM
This is a 3 year old template of scam website, the first time I have seen it was on the year 2017 maybe it exists earlier. As a newbie I have been a victim of too good to be true scheme but now I have learned my mistake, I ignore it all now. To earn a decent amount we need to make some real job or task, the harder the higher the pay. That site is a multi scam, it could be phishing, malicious ads, taking important infos, name and emails, password and they will use it to crack your accounts on other websites.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What we can expect the price of eth at the end of 2020? on: August 10, 2020, 06:02:36 PM
If the run continuos I am guessing it can reach $600 to $1000 at the end of the year, bitcoin can do a 500 to 1000  dollar increase or decrease only in 24 hours, maybe ETH can do it too but not as big as those. ETH futures and all altcoins depends on bitcoin moves if it will continue to move forward. We can also consider just like what you said 2.0 is coming and it scheduled on the year 2021, I hope they can do something on the current transaction fees situation which is pretty pricy.
91  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Binance Trading Bot on Telegram | Coinguru on: August 10, 2020, 05:40:57 PM
I am not against to any bot as long at it is for free, and not those bots that offers VIP signals which is pretty milking on new traders. Also, I don't recommend following any bot all the time, make your own analysis and as OP says lets evaluate the bot suggestion and not copy it directly. To OP, maybe it is better if the language is in english so that everyone can understand it directly without translating.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Those initial exchange offering (IEO) reduce opportunities for bounty hunters? on: August 10, 2020, 05:19:45 PM
Most of the genuine IEO's now are only participated by big holders, you can't invest like 20 dollars just like on ICO. Binance requires 50 BNB minimum which is equal to $1200 more or less for 1 ticket to participate and it is not guaranteed yet that you can get an allocation because their IEO is lottery style, In majority only big holders are getting richer. Of course, IEO fails on sh*t exchanges, IEO is only good in reputable exchanges. About IEO reducing opportunities? not really there are projects that conduct IEO that has bounties too but only few. Those scammers creating scam ICO before they are the one reducing our opportunities damaging the image of ICO.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most of The DEFI coins are 50% up in last 7days!! on: August 10, 2020, 12:27:31 PM
I guess the main reason is the hype behind DeFi projects, many people are being FOMO by this DeFi, Band and Link has been increasing in price which is good for investors, Yes, DeFi is really amazing tech in crypcurrency but I have notice there are also an increase in scam defi projects which they list directly on uniswap which is pretty alarming just last week I saw some scam defi project just scammed 200 ETH to it's investors, scammers are on the move again riding this defi hype, be careful I prefer to invest on top defi projects.
94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: in any whale or top trader here? on: August 08, 2020, 07:50:46 PM
Honestly, there is no way someone could tell which coin will pump everytime, predictions and technical analysis are not correct all the time. There are services like trading signal but I don't recommend to use those services, better learn for yourself and do your own research. I am not a top trader but I have notice some coins pumps when there is a big update about them, either good partnership, top exchange listing, mainnet update, etc. but only on reputable and genuine projects.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange security questions on: August 08, 2020, 06:52:37 PM
1st Question: binance exchange and few top exchanges I've used has finger print scanner under security settings, I want to know if this can only safe me from people around me or also online hackers, both withdrawal and deposit requires my thumb print, how good is this ?
That fingerprint security is only in your device, so it will protect you from the people around that has malicious attempt, it is a much better alternative than pincode. But if the hackers target you remotely via phishing, etc. fingerprint protection will not help.

Quote
2nd Question: my second question is almost same thing as the first, which is 2FA, it's part of my security settings that login, deposit and withdrawal requires 2FA codes too, how tight is this from hackers? And of course people around me ? Thank you
With Binance updated 2fa, they have added 3 2fa on withdrawals which is pretty good. They need code from mobile, email and your 2fa authenticator my recommended authenticator is Aegis and Authy which are much better than google authenticator. Also, for added security set anti-phishing code so that you will recognize which  emails are genuine and fake.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCal Shows Hidden Gems? on: August 05, 2020, 02:05:55 PM
I have been visiting coinMarketCal and for several years I noticed not all of their announcement are good, but I guess the majority of it are real. Seeing on this Lamden there is only 33% confidence over 800 plus votes, but votes can be manipulated too. I will not buy for now but I will be watching it, Just found their source code on github https://github.com/Lamden/

33% confidence is still low. It means, users don't have the strong faith on this project at the moment. But let's see if it will change over time. And follow if they will be having good development updates from their side. Hidden gem or not, it is always better to dig more about the project. One can always say that a project is a hidden gem but without supporting facts, don't believe right away.
Yeah, it is pretty low, even it is higher I will not jump into it without a proper review and finding facts. Coinmarketcal is like a ratings site, some ratings site are manipulated by projects, they are buying some reviews to make it look good, I am not a fan of those sites and coinmarketcal are base on votes which is pretty the same. Always DYOR, we should not believe on what is anyone is saying right away.
97  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptotrader interview on: August 04, 2020, 11:29:41 PM
Just curious what is your goal? Just want to share some knowledge and gain at the same time? If that is the case thats great, but I guess it is hard to have an interview videocall on strangers, traders wants some privacy and security.  Why not join some Telegram and Discord trading groups, you can interact with some traders. Ask any question do you want, there are also existing interviews about crypto traders on youtube.
98  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies beware of influencers -they might not know it all/it's can go wrong- on: August 04, 2020, 11:03:18 PM
Not just influencers, it could be a reputable platform, ceo of big companies just like what happen recently the twitter hack which targets well-known individuals and platforms. It proves that there are some people that will not analyze it first if it comes from a well-known individual they jump right at it without thinking. Those influencers are just humans their predictions is not always correct so I am not really a fan of it I'll just ignore them.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can ICOs come back in the game? on: August 04, 2020, 10:46:34 PM
Correct, Initial Exchange Offerings have really taking over the token sale services to the public. But what if some technology will give us something like Decentralized tokensale? We can view what is going on and the project is reputable, have great marketing and good idea, maybe it could bring it back.

I am thinking of something, DeFi has many possible services like this, found on binance blog.
Quote
Currently, the three largest functions of DeFi are:

Creating monetary banking services (e.g., issuance of stablecoins)
Providing peer-to-peer or pooled lending and borrowing platforms
Enabling advanced financial instruments such as DEX, tokenization platforms, derivatives and predictions markets

What if DeFi can make something like, Decentralized Tokensale? That's a game changer I guess.
This DeFi hype will definitely be going to make ethereum super inflated in price along with the ongoing bull market, but it is surely possible to make a decentralized token sale with the ethereum smart contracts, currently the IEO hype is going on and when this ends there would surely be a DeFi token sale making the ICO a rudimentary thing of the past which will not be scamming the innocent investors no more. But right now there is still slight possibility for the acceptance of ICO for decent projects that are loved by the community as well.
Yeah, I guess so it's possible but we need a reputable defi project to run it. If none reputable platform maybe no one will trust it for sure. Upon looking on coinmarketcap Chainlink is the Top one defi project base on marketcap, Chainlink network provides tamper-proof inputs which means more secure, we will see in the coming months or years if we will be having that kind of tokensale.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitAgro bounty rewards, any news? on: August 04, 2020, 10:28:04 PM
Yes. This is the one. But I am wondering how the trading is ongoing since last one year. They have their contacts and team details but no one responds. Just thought to share and gather some information if there is any chance to receive something.
Let's say, they pay your bounty rewards. But the fact man this token is almost have no value, you can't even sell it on the exchange because it has no volume at all. And this coin is listed on P2PB2B which is a sh*t exchange, if you are not aware go to scam accusation thread this P2PB2B has so many accusations. I will tell you it looks like there is no hope with this projects it appears abandoned.
