the price of bitcoin in my opinion will remain speculative and I don't think that the lightning chain will help the price in anyway because it is replacing a problem with another one. for the time being I think we are bulling on average but it is not easy to say we're still not out of deep waters yet.

never trust an online wallet with your information especially in cryptocurrency, because it might be impossible to track the money that was stolen, it's always best to have a locally installed version on your computer. that's what most people do

I have been paying close attention to the market and especially at the bitcoin dominance indicator. I have noticed that it's decreasing and that the 'other' altcoins are doing better, what I take from this is that this is "the alt season" of the the rally and usually after the alt season it'll be a bitcoin rally.

Just finished counting posts for week 2, will send payments out tomorrow as well as the updated week 3 spreadsheet. As I've mentioned before, I count posts from each of your profiles directly. This means you shouldn't worry if the post count is off on the spreadsheet due to deleted posts. I will probably remove this column in week 3, since I don't even reference it and it seems to have caused confusion.
Please double check your ETH/BTC addresses to make sure I have your most updated one!
Hello MadZ, what does the "pm" mean in the spreadsheet column of uncounted posts ?? thanks

I don't think you can change human nature with technology, I would give the same advice to the younger generation as I would to anyone... be responsible with money and learn financial freedom and how to achieve it. don't rely on providing a service and to being a wage slave. learn how to manage money and assets.

all of the points you have mentioned (great post by the way) revolve around the fact that you need to know what you are doing. and so I think as long as you have a clear plan that works for you, you should just stick to it. and it's also important that you learn a lot, because it's a very vast field we're being initiated in here.

I think it's still early to tell. according to Tone Vays we need to hang around the 8,000$ area for a week. and then see what happens, maybe after that we'll get some clear bullish signals. I am optimistic over all, but we need to be careful with times like this

do you think that there is a correlation between the price of bitcoin and the news trends ?? I check the google news for "btc" everyday and I noticed that in the previous months when bitcoin's prices were dropping, the news were all grim and calling btc to be dead. however now that we are seeing a "potential" reversal (this could very well be a trap) I am noticing that the news are positive mostly.
so what I think is that the news are reflecting the "emotional" state of the market and what investors are feeling about bitcoin, and now for the most part it's positive.

"Economists discover true 'value' of $8k Bitcoin - a lowly $20" https://www.express.co.uk/finance/city/948252/Bitcoin-price-ripple-cryptocurrency-ethereum-BTC-to-USD-XRP-newsthe article talks about two economists estimating the true value of bitcoin that is "a cryptocurrency made of code with no country enforcing it, no central bank controlling it, and few places to spend it" as the article reads; I think this is a load of crap and these people shouldn't be taken seriously however the article if anything highlights the fact that BTC is not being used and that the price is mostly speculative. I think if cryptocurrencies were integrated in businesses and economies we would see the true value for them.

I'm not sure if I have time to play with charts and trade a lot, like I have seen some youtubers doing. They make you really believe that is more like a skill and if you are good at it, it works. My friend told me that is just about how lucky you are, and not a skill. So, should I stick with holding or playing day trade is a better option?
I do believe it's a skill but here's the thing to keep in mind: consider your competition; you are up against firms and companies and individuals who have better skills, better understanding, and better tools (faster computers, faster internet, etc...) so the house really never looses and the game is rigged against you. your best bet in my opinion to invest in project and coins for long periods of time (weeks).

Hey everyone, I have gone through all outstanding applications and updated the spreadsheet for week 2. The following members have been accepted into the campaign: nathan047 legendster bitbollo taiwww sud googs84 jmigdlc99 edgycorner vlad230 butka apurveanand lienfaye Please update your info if you have not already done so The following members have been removed from the campaign, along with the reasons for their removal: gabz999- SMAS blacklisted and received negative trust kennyr- SMAS blacklisted televisionlover- no posts in the first week As the rules state, users who are SMAS blacklisted are barred from joining the campaign. I will be more vigilant in checking this list from now on, it is my fault these two slipped through. The following members did not receive full payment but will remain in the campaign: bavicrypto - posts in bounty threads do not count kwakufavour - low post count fmboyzz - low post count Mame - low post count In an effort to improve post quality, I am informally asking members to avoid mega-threads for the majority of their paid posts. A mega-thread is a thread that already contains hundreds of replies (20+ pages). While one can still make quality contributions to threads such as these, I'd like to encourage users to spark new discussions, rather than posting in threads that have more or less run their course. I have noticed this trend among the following users: iram1011 Abiky Victorycoin SummerBliss richjohn djsugar Sahyadri maxim000 mast3rm1nd Pasaway2701 crypto-bit LeaderAMB Please keep this in mind going forward. If I do not see improvement in this area, I will be forced to make this a formal rule. unfortunately I have made most of my posts before reading about the mega-thread "policy", I'll do my best to comply for the remaining posts. and for next week.

the best and most important thing to do in my opinion is to do your research very carefully and to be mindful of your investments. and regarding the bounty; if you think this coin has a future you hold and if not (maybe the development team is lazy and unmotivated) then you cash your earnings out and invest elsewhere. you need to learn a lot of things for your investment to be safe.
some altcoins do, most don't have a future because they have no value other than speculation. they don't provide solutions to current problems and they aren't original and mostly copies of existing cryptocurrencies. the altcoins that have good teams and a good vision will survive.

the biggest mistakes are always a form of FOMO for me one of the earliest mistakes was buying a pump/dump sh*t coin at 100% green marker (yeas you read that right a 100%) that taught me a valuable lesson and I was lucky because it was only a small amount.
I think that the market is ready for a bull run, we have bottommed (I think) at 6,000 USD and now everyone who thought it was the end and doomsday is less twitchy and scared. cryptocurrencies are still here and new projects are surfacing everyday, I really hope it's time to make bank
I have been grinding and hustling but in the past 2-3 months I was able to get a profit that I made in 3 weeks when the market was bullish. It's extremely hard to make profit in a bear market the prices keep going down and even the slightest rumor can undo what you were working on for weeks.
I would hold 70% bitcoin and 30% ethereum and my reasoning is that bitcoin will always be a key player and it's true that this might mean that it won't gain as much potentially, I mean it's unlikely to see x100 gains with bitcoin however with ethereum the chance is there.
look at the project, what kind of technology are they introducing and what kind of problem are they addressing and has any other cryptocurrency addressed this problem or not. next you need to look at the development team, their social media and what they tweet about, a serious team will have solid projects.
chose based on the team and the technology they propose and if it meaningful and changing the world. you can also chose bounty based on the hype and community support, my personal strategy is to apply to everything that is available.
my goals are not very specific I have a general idea on how I want to be and what I want to do with my life, I want to be good, the best at something, anything and I want to provide people with some sort of service. I think I'll start a small business in some field and try to be really good at that thing. good luck to everyone.
