The amount of general approval from a huge percentage of people in the crypto world along with the stagnating price convinced me enough to dive in

The idea: ticket sales on the blockchain taking ticket touting/extortionate reselling out of the equation. It has been featured and mentioned lots of times including a mainstream newspaper(online site).

Waves has its own wallet where you can also trade waves as well. That's probably the easiest, or just hook up with one of the major exchanges, I hold a small amount on bittrex for example.

A lot of people chatting about waves at the moment, shouldn't be too hard to find more info on it

There's something fishy going on with this coin, just now when the market rate was around 0.0023 someone put in 2 massive sell orders of 63eth EACH at 0.00120

why sell so low? there was no sell orders between 0.00120 and 0.0020

i reckon there will be a huge bounce after this drop

AVT confirmed yesterday in a news update that they will indeed be listed on a major exchange by the end of this week. They are already on etherdelta so this will be their second exchange...pretty big news!

For anybody who didn't follow them they are a project implementing a solution to stop ticket fraud/touting etc so the real world application for this is amazing


Quick question for you all out there, why are projects so careful about not releasing the name of the exchanges even when they obviously have a confirmed agreement in place. 'the end of this week', they literally have less than 3 days to list so an agreement must have been reached by now

Its a pity its on etherdelta, literally the exchange i hate working with the most!

And its seems it might be the same for some other people too, someone just paid 2.5 eth for 0.003 EBTC....mixed up the rate/amount options

At this stage this coin needs some BIG news to propel it forward, I know there is an anticipated update in November to all p3p file sharing which might help things along.

I suppose another way of looking at it is that we could be in one of those temporarily 'dead' projects which do nothing for a long time then all of a sudden skyrocket

It is amazing what people were saying at the start of this thread in 2014.

It just shows that you cant rely on what people say or think(even if the vast majority think so) to influence your investment decisions. Sure you can get some information from peoples opinions but that's about it and even then that info might literally be useless..

I was in litecoin pre-pump prior to the Chinese crash and it was remarkably stable compared with the other choices. I've gone back into it now as I think it will rise again soon, maybe not to the highs it reached previously(in the future yes but not yet)

After the china crash I don't think litecoin has recovered to the same extent that bitcoin or ethereum have. Maybe someone can do a quick calculation for that  

market cap is very important but the roadmap and upcoming updates are very important for me.

For example Lisk has been falling a lot recently but I know there is rebranding coming soon, same for siacoin, falling but big announcements on the way.

You need to be very careful about which ones you choose and also do research on the bounty details!!!

For example my first bounty campaign as a newbie was unbelievably good. I was only in it for a week, I basically posted around 4 times and clocked up 29.7 of their tokens. A token was worth a dollar, not bad for 4 posts as a newbie!

The reason for the high pay rate, most people in the bounty campaign had opted for social media bounties or reddit etc, it left a large amount of stakes for very few people in the bitcoin talk side of the campaign

This will be really interesting to find out what their actual regulations are. Also we shouldn't just assume that these regulations will the general rule for other countries too, China are notoriously closed and controlling, their new regulations might be severely restricting compared with future regulations in different countries

It might not take off as quick as you think,  I personally an waiting for the first five to go live as oppose to the exchange listing. Why? Because once the fees start coming in the go to the token holders so those tokens will become more valuable again

Dont be so ridiculous with that comment. You cant call it a scam because you got less bounty than you expected. My bounty takings were cut by 2/3 as well but there was an initial error in the calculation. That shouldn't put people off having a look at it

I'm in 6 ICOs at the moment(small investment in each) and every single one of them has dropped below the ICO price. I read someone else mention this trend about a week ago

New thing to do for ICOs is wait until after the ICO and get a discount......unless you stumble upon something like kyber  which i didnt
