81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best Social Media for promoting an ICO ? on: December 05, 2017, 10:24:58 AM
You can also promote it on Steemit, it's a good way advertize it because it's a social media based on the blockchain, so it's a must have to mark the mind of people.
Also as it has been said before, you obviously forgot to mention Facebook, which is still a good way to promote something today.

Bitcointalk also is a good way of working with ICO. You'll have more impact on specialised websites, than old social media where a low number of people care about crypto currencies.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA - buy some more? on: November 30, 2017, 01:23:40 PM
The internet of object, also called internet of things, is obviously a big part of our future, nobody can deny it.
I also see a nice future for this kind of services for the next years, but the question is always the same : Will there be another coin that doing better job than IOTA in the next years, or IOTA will dominate the market for this kind of thing.

The question remain always the same. Yes IoT is the future, but is IOTA is the good horse to invest in, or will there be another one dominating ?
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum on: November 30, 2017, 10:38:51 AM
Nobody knows for sure, but what I can say, is that in the long long term, I have more hope for eth than btc.

Btc is "only" a currency to buy and sell goods.
Ethereum allows to create smart contract, so it allows to create services, and projects, with rules and strucutres.
Today it's 100% speculation so in term of price you don't see the difference, but when there will be real interest for projects that are running live, smart contracts will be needed and wanted, and it'll be the raise of the smart contract coins like ETH, NEO and a lot of others.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you find your news? on: November 29, 2017, 10:15:54 AM
I have no specific websites.
Generally I see the news on twitter / telegram / from friends. But anyway I'm not chasing the news so I guess it's not so important to have them a bit later. It would be important if I were trading with the news, which is not the case.

By the way, don't forget the expression : Buy the rumor, sell the news. If you expect to buy a coin according to a good news, remember that a lot of people have already made their trade before you, so the news shouldn't be your motivation to buy, the rumor should.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I cash out my ETH? on: November 28, 2017, 04:42:52 PM
There are plenty of way to cash out your coins.

If it's a well known and strong coin, like ETH, LTC or BTC, there are a big chance that you find an exchange that allows convertion between those coins and your currency (EUR or USD for example).
CoinBase/Gdax allow that.

If you want to cashout lower altcoins, you'll have to find an exchange to sell them for Bitcoins, then cashout your BTC in FIAT.

For finding the best exchanges for each coins, I suggest you to check it on coinmarketcap, there are all the info that you need there.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH Touch 500$ in new year? on: November 28, 2017, 10:15:09 AM
After every pump there is a little dump or a so called "correction".
ETH just went near the 480 dollars so quick that now it will have to come back to a more reallistic value before pumping again.
It will probably come back to the 400 dollars support line, then will be back to other summits Smiley
Anyway, there is no doubts that eth will be one of the strongest coins in the near future, I don't see any signs that tell that it won't touch 500$ soon.

Let's touch the sky Smiley
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STRATIS - STRATIS - Get in Before it is too Late on: November 27, 2017, 09:53:04 PM
I get in, in June, when it was the worst time to invest in crypto, because it was at the summit of the graph. But you can't know it untill you have the big picture 1 month after Cheesy

I'm just hoping and holding, in order to at least come back at the value it was before.
Currently I'm at - 42% in fiat value on Stratis, and -83% in BTC value on STRATIS lol.

Let's just wait and prey for the come back... I learned from my mistakes since that date !
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth going strong on: November 27, 2017, 09:25:39 PM
ETH as always been strong, it is just its value that was not yet rated correctly. I think it is still underated, but as every good project it needs time to come to the eyes of investors and newcomers that don't know yet the blockchain technologies and the world of crypto currencies.
Anyway, smart contract projects have beautifull days in front of them, I do not doubt that at all.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eth can rise to 500usd it? on: November 23, 2017, 01:09:57 PM
The question is not if it's reaching 500 or not. The question is when.

And yes it'll reach this value very soon, adding the fact that christmas is coming, which will increase the speed of this reaching.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with less than 21m supply? on: November 23, 2017, 12:53:49 PM
In order to have the perfect objective response to your question, I suggest you to check on coinmarketcap websit and filter with every settings that you are looking for (marketcap, value, volume, supply... etc)
https://coinmarketcap.com/

To answer to the "strong core", it's difficult to say because it's a subjective point of view
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency? on: November 22, 2017, 02:10:38 PM
My biggest regret is to be too greedy. Sometimes you can win a bit, and you try to wait more time thinking it will raise up more and more, then it crashes and your gains transforms themselves in loss.
Just keep in mind that a gain is a gain, and trying to have more sometimes is not the good thing to do.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some countries are prohibit BTC... on: November 22, 2017, 02:08:26 PM
When you have the monopole of something, and other people come with better ideas, more secure, less expensive, you'll do whatever you can to kick them back from where they come from.
That's what happening with banks and governments. They try to keep the way it's working right now, but some of them are clever and enter the boat before it leaves, like some banks with Dash or other crypto for banks...
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An offline wallet to store multiple cryptocurrencies? on: November 16, 2017, 03:34:27 PM
As it as been said before, the ledger wallet is currently the best solution.
I wouldn't recommend to try new thing before it's been validated as a strong and secure tool.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to sell tokens on: November 15, 2017, 02:50:50 PM
In the case you own ethereum based tokens, you can generally sell them on etherdelta or other exchanges for low value coins.

Then when you sell them for some eth, you can then send those eth to your myetherwallet.
Easy
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex.com SCAM 100% on: November 15, 2017, 09:37:41 AM
Probably the issue comes from the thing between your chair and your computer.

Don't call something a scam if you don't know what happened... Call it a scam when you really understood why you lost your money and you can prove it has been stolen...
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Coin for decentralized storage! on: November 15, 2017, 09:35:19 AM
The best one is the one that will be followed by the majority.
History has shown that it's not always the best things or the best projects that become leader, but the one followed by the most people.

You'll find plenty of examples of shitty things that are famous, and really strong projects that have been lost forever...
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can i trust EtherDelta with my Private Keys ? on: November 14, 2017, 10:43:34 AM
If a website is hosting your private information (key, data... etc), you shuld not trust it.

Even if it is trustable, you can't guarantee that it won't be hacked, stolen or crash. Don't ever store important information on websites, and if you do, be sure that it's a low value wallet, or a wallet made especially for the website.

Good luck
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does ICO work? on: November 14, 2017, 10:40:27 AM
ICO is the crowdfunding of the blockchain.

People show their projects, ask for investors and investments. Some people will believe in what the dev built, and will invest money, to let them grow. Then, the coin will take value or not. That's like in life, some projects will fail, some other will raise !
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is exchange? on: November 09, 2017, 09:43:50 AM
An exchange is a server that will store your informations. So your coins and your private keys of the site will be stored on this site.

If the site is hacked or down, or stopped, you'll loose everything on it. It's different from a wallet, that allows you to use an interface between your computer and the blockchain, but the wallet doesn't store your information, it's just an interface.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: November 08, 2017, 04:13:53 PM
You can find easily all the airdrop coins in the ANN part of the forum (announcement), then making a filtering on the word "airdrop" to check the accurate titles.
You can do so with the search form, or the good old "control + F" technique.
