That KYC verification is a complete joke. Never got to a next step after entering address details. Glad I sent just small deposit to see how it goes.

Seems like it's better to hold our horses before they make clear statement on that redemption clause.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: December 15, 2017, 04:49:02 AM
still got 49 of those coupons left for $60 each...

So you basically lost around 25 BTC with these D3's? Oh man, that would be more than $400 000 today..  Angry

Thanks mate. It goes to 90*C, that was/is my question. Still, after the last reboot, it's locked at 37*C, like 6h since

I have one miner as well with this issue on one hashboard. Temp reading get from 35 up to 120 after restart and stay there. Propably just bad heat sensor. As long as you have other sensors working, heat won't go critical even if sensor on one board does not work properly as fan auto speed still works as it should. Haven't noticed that it affects performance either, so nothing to worry about.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer D3 Chain 3 missing on: December 14, 2017, 07:21:08 PM
Anyone get a reply from bitmain on this?

On of my D3 started by dropping out the Chain line (#2) had 19,300GH/s . But when I flipped to another pool, I lost the chain completey and am operating just over 13,000GH/s...

Very disappointing, they are less than a week old!

Just a canned troubleshooting guide and nothing after that.

As I posted earlier, my chain 3 went bad after changing pool to Nicehash. It's propably software bug, which causes hardware failure in the end.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hashpower provider! on: December 14, 2017, 07:01:33 PM
Yesterday I received 2 payouts from Genesis, though those are not visible in stats:

13.12.2017 0.0030
13.12.2017 0.0029

Now back to my stats:

09.12.2017      BTC      0.0028    View Transaction
08.12.2017      BTC      0.0028    View Transaction
07.12.2017      BTC      0.00019
07.12.2017      BTC      0.0028    View Transaction
06.12.2017      BTC      0.0028    View Transaction
06.12.2017      BTC      0.00023
05.12.2017      BTC      0.0033    View Transaction
05.12.2017      BTC      0.00026

So now I've received SHA-256 payouts up to 11.12.2017 (or for whichever days those payouts were for). However as you can see, my altcoin mining stopped completely paying after 7th.

In November I lost altcoin earnings for almost 1/3 of month and couple days worth of SHA-256. Luckily got an answer from support after some weeks. However all they had to say was that they can see daily transfers to my wallet (they gave me a link pointing to Tradeblock and my wallet address) so my earnings are paid, it's just a reporting issue. Too bad they didn't realize that those transfers were from my other mining operations. So they basically lied straight to my face and took credit for payouts made by other companies. I let it go, as didn't have time or energy to start fighting about it.

Now when I think of it, around a week ago I started again receiving all my payouts to same BTC address from my other minings as well as I pointed all my payouts to Bittrex after months of fighting with Kraken's problems. Bittrex gives you only one deposit address for each currency,  so there's not really any options to have seperate addresses for each mining provider. Also as said, in November I had same payout address for all my minings for some days. And guess what? Yes, I missed those payouts on exactly that timeframe.

So the question is: Is Genesis Mining monitoring your payout address in case that you receive transfers from elsewhere about the same size that Genesis mining payout should be, so they can forfeit your payout and claim the transfers as their own?

For reference here's payouts to that same address from ViaBTC and most of those are about the same size as Genesis payouts:

13.12.2017 0.0027 BTC
12.12.2017 0.0029 BTC
11.12.2017 0.0012 BTC
10.12.2017 0.0025 BTC
09.12.2017 0.0012 BTC

This needs to be investigated further. I have now stopped ViaBTC auto payouts to see if it corrects Genesis Mining daily payouts. Once Genesis starts paying daily (if it starts) I'll resume with ViaBTC payouts to see if Genesis stops paying again. Don't want to sound paranoid, but there's definetely something fishy about it as this has now happened 2/2. Coincidence? Maybe. We'll find that out really soon.

Nothing here after 9th.
Payment Threshold?
No, earning ~0.003 BTC/day (19TH/s) so well above payment treshold everyday. They just did not pay. No stat updates, nothing.

Lol, he might actually be the lucky one if he gets purchase value covered by UPS, or gets a coupon from Bitmain to get S9 instead.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer D3 Chain 3 missing on: December 06, 2017, 04:43:47 PM
Same here.

Chain 3 is completely missing from miner status. After the restart all chains powered, hashrate summary shows around 19GH/s and that's the number showing in my mining pool also. So it seems like chain 3 is working, atleast partially.

However chain 2 shows missing ASIC's and both chain 1 and 2 have lots of HW errors when chain 3 is powered. Chain 3 off both chains 1 and 2 are working just fine with only few HW errors. So it might be bad for healthy boards/main board to keep chain 3 connected.

Reloading firmware back and forth helps nothing, so it's propably hardware issue. On the other hand, now when I think of it, board 3 disappeared right after changing pool to Nicehash couple days ago. So who knows..

F**k it. I'm not sending them a hashboard and spend another $100-150 for this non-profit piece of s**t. Atleast not yet when I have 2,5 months of warranty time left and naturally something else will break during that time.

BTW, when did they change warranty time from 180 days to 90? For what I remember when ordering in early september, it was 180 days. Changing it post order is bullshit.

What's up with the X11 pool? Pool hashrate dropped from +40TH/s to 10 TH/s. My D3's show less than 5 GH/s each.

Bitmain says they sent it, Fedex says they never received it. Nice limbo..

All that says is label has been created. As in someome printed it at Bitmain. Hasn't left warehouse yet

Maybe it could've ended up delivered with another shipping label after all?

And would had therefore a different tracking number.

Have to call Fedex about that. Thanks for the tip.

94  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS: 2x Bitmain $125 coupons on: December 01, 2017, 12:13:47 AM
Never used coupons on my orders, but according to my understanding and what I have heard from others, yes. 1 coupon for 1 miner.
95  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS: 2x Bitmain $125 coupons on: November 30, 2017, 11:37:58 PM
Price dropped to $135. As a good will gesture, I can send those coupons prior to payment for Sr. members and up (No negative trust and clean history).
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Bitcoin Growth Bot, Lending Platform 2.0 [DECEMBER TOKEN SALE] on: November 30, 2017, 10:44:20 PM
Question bout the Waves platform. If I go right now and make buy (pre)order for Nucleus token for $0.65 equivalent of BTC (just to be sure because of volatility), it gets filled @ $0.55/token once you release those first 1 million tokens, right (given that BTC value doesn't drop like 20% over night)?

When bonus tokens are released?
97  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: November 30, 2017, 05:42:30 AM
My S9 shipped on 27th (ordered 9/26), but FedEx shows only "Label created" and nothing after that. Strange.

Still stuck with "Label created" status. Never had this before. Thinking about if they postponed shipping for some reason.. Anyone else having this with Fedex?
