81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market being manipulated in 2020? on: January 14, 2020, 10:58:51 PM
When it regards to market manipulation, there is no chance to make it over. We can't eliminate whales who are causing this market manipulation for a particular reason. Whales are still huge investors, quite it helps the market to grow compared to casual trader/investors. If we think that we don't need them, we have to think also what happens to us.
Believe me or not, manipulation will never have an ending story as the market still exist.
82  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: January 14, 2020, 10:35:09 PM
to start something new, it is better not to think too long because there is nothing you can do in conditions that are not ready or just a little impatient.

choose concentration first until you find a comfortable point in your new job, no need to think about trading until you really have the time and mental readiness, the actual conditions will be more difficult if you no longer have as much free time as now.
This is all about preparing yourself into a battle. It simply we need to acquire necessary things for a better result. But OP feels different about himself in trading and I can figure it out that he is probably in failure and consider himself out in the race. Badly it was and put his trading journey to an end.
83  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Crypto Pump Island a scam or legit? on: January 13, 2020, 10:15:56 PM
I believe that OP has already understood and has been lightened up with regard to his/her question.
OP's is not responding anymore or even get alive after his/her post.

We know how risk dealing with this dump and pump group and to safeguard our funds better not to interact with these people. Don't be like prey for them cause they will surely take that opportunity until they will succeed.
84  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Futures Manipulation on: January 13, 2020, 09:36:28 PM
It is possible to see more market manipulation will arise in the future but most likely it happens to centralize coin and not for Bitcoin.
I could foresee that Bitcoin will remain as what it has today. Volatility is not a question anymore and can't be considered as the effect of market manipulation cause even we think that whales could change the trend but it is just got temporarily, they can't still control Bitcoin's movement.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: The 2020 Next Bitcoin Halving vs The 2016 One on: January 12, 2020, 10:55:32 PM
I think halving is pretty much priced in so I'm expecting the price to dump when we get closer to halving so that institutional investors can create liquidity for their positions while retailers get bullish for halving. I'm looking forward to another bull market heading into the price discovery process after a pretty hard stop loss search.

https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-halving-2016-will-price-rise-fall
We may also suffer dumps after halving as it happens last 2016 block rewards and as expected all the time change. But we also think that people have already educated themselves and could trigger a different outlook for this year. As have been said and most people are thinking of a promising market this year, not a declining one.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason behind creating Bitcoin. on: January 12, 2020, 10:28:03 PM
It should have a reason and enough for the creator to think differently based on his ( Satoshi) market experience. It eventually escalates the system and has a huge effect on the market side and as well as how it helps to improve the economic system globally.
We have already witnessed its applicability and quite satisfying that everyone could adopt and use it regularly as another option over fiat money.
87  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Easy way to accumulate BTC while still Hodling. on: January 10, 2020, 11:27:21 PM
Looking at their review https://steemit.com/vertex/@mustafacetin/vertex-platform-and-vertex-review I didn't find negatives but all are in good responses and I hope that this is not a paid reviews... Grin

@OP, you'll never have to get shy to tell us about your participation in this platform is legit. You'll no need to hide unless you just played us and tried to fool the community.
The minimum investment is just only $50, and if we are able to gain 3-5% per day...not bad at all, at least you are profiting not losing.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you will opinion? on: January 10, 2020, 11:07:32 PM
Frankly speaking, I'm not interested in staking cause I know how the market behaves. It doesn't give us an assurance that the time we get our money/coins the price is high. The risk is too high compared to trading and I believe it was not profitable IMO unless if we just stake Bitcoin.

But that is your stance anyway, I'll just hope that this Elrond will have a better future.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: January 10, 2020, 10:47:04 PM
Gambling is very addictive, and before getting into it one needs to know all the consequences that arise out of gambling. Once after losing big maybe people will give advice but it is impossible to get back the lost funds from the casino or from people. Everyone finds it hard, but when it comes to money, everyone running for the same and won't give it that easy for any reason.
Yes, it can be addictive only if we don't know how to control ourselves and let this addiction beating us.
That is too disappointing how some gamblers having a different approach towards gambling, thinking that this is a good source of income and easy money is not a good idea. It seems too hard to influence gamblers and opened up their minds when they don't want to listen to us. That is why gambling addiction can't be easy to stop once it was already eaten up our mind. It is a sad reality but that it was.
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: January 10, 2020, 10:25:27 PM
...snipped..

I am not sure about that because if someone doesn't have a lot of money, he will not play gambling too often, and he will not calculate how much money he will use for gamble. He will consider spending some money but only to enjoy the games and not for trying to making money in gambling. But that will be a good idea if he can calculate or estimate how much he loses and wins so he can know how to treat gambling.
No one use to play gambling for fun only but people must have intention to win some money and if you lose in gambling it should not be so high but try to learn from miner lose and try not to make mistakes again and again. We should play with care and keep calculating that lose so never go beyond the limited amount.
Miner's losses are a different story from gambling. Basically, and the truth my people are going to gambling is because of money, aiming to win the jackpot and just of being please with. There are only two possible results in gambling either we lose or win, and asking have you counted or estimated your losses? I don't think such a thing is helpful, I always forgot the numbers coz I don't want to remember and get bothered because of that.
91  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales keep getting richer and richer while everybody else is losing... on: January 10, 2020, 10:05:12 PM
That's really true, whales keep manipulating the market so everything is easy to them.

Making money with just a little movement for them is possible and it's more possible because there are investors who risk investing but does not have enough knowledge on what they are doing, that's the reality for now but hopefully small investors will be educated in the future so whales power to manipulate us will decrease.
Yes not about their mind-set but their own planning as they take advantage of New traders by misleading them. They will give fake promises and those who are unaware or having lack of knowledge will listen to them. That’s why new trader who listen to whales and sell their coins will suffer lose while whales will get high value coin at low price.
Depending on how you understand the situation and as well how these will act violently, coz I don't think it is a kind of misleading when they pump a certain coin and then dump later on. If you are a trader, you'll know already how these whales do their job and in the first place, why we have to buy this coin when it is already been lifted high because of hypes and not because there is an increase in demand. That is why we should have to think first and do research in order to know if this is manipulated or not.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: January 10, 2020, 01:21:39 AM
Many gamblers are saying that they are only gambling for stress reliever but the thing is they keep becoming more stress if they lose in the gambling. For those who have a lot of money can say that gambling is for fun and stress reliever because they have a lot of money and they do not care even if they lose big.
Gambling for stress relief? How funny can this get.
Gambling alone can put one into stress. it's not only because of the loss that comes with it as you state but also because of the mental calculations on the right strategies that could result to winning. That alone can stress the brain.
When one play without thinking or calculating the chances, the loss becomes greater. Anyone that want t relieve stress should go watch a show and not gamble.
To be exact, people are in gambling for the reason that they would like to win and have some money. That was crazy actually if we've been addicted to gambling just for stress reliever, having fun or social engagement. What makes us relieve from the stress in gambling, if we are able to hit the jackpot prize.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin to buy? on: January 10, 2020, 12:55:16 AM
If you think that 1BTC is good enough for you, then that's enough.
Asking how much Bitcoin to buy will it depend on our capability as well. Coz if you have a lot of money to risk, why not of having 2 or 3 BTC. Bitcoin investment is really profitable, the more you invested the more you'll expect to earn also. Now, you have to look at your position and try to evaluate yourself if you are strong enough to face the challenge that you might encounter in the future.

94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto history making year 2020 started it's journey ! on: January 09, 2020, 11:13:18 PM
I think that we do have a positive and good start this year 2020 and let's see if we will look forward for more good news but so far now we are facing something that will affect the price of Bitcoin and that is the war of the middle East and USA will continue, for sure it will affect many things and that includes cryptocurrency.
we will see together the development of the crypto industry this year, I hope it can improve because it has been a while since the development of this industry has stopped to grow significantly. so I hope it can improve for this year which many expect to give good results.
But what if it doesn't go that way? Would you still trust crypto? This is all about how we trusted crypto and being optimistic about the future.
The conflict between US and Iran is a different story and I don't think that there is a significant effect on the trend that we have these days knowing that not only this two-country give support on crypto. The market will still be moving and looking forward to how this halving works on the price development.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 give new hope to Altcoin? on: January 09, 2020, 10:52:38 PM
...snipped..

For me and my portfolio 2019 was better than 2018. It's true that many people
lost their faith, but I'm not one of them. Many times I repeated that we can't lose
faith so quickly, with first hard times to run away. If we chose this we need to
have faith in good and bad times too.
I think that 2020 will be better than 2019, but it's still early for fireworks, I agree
with you on that. I hope for that, but in my opinion we will see that in next few years,
we need to be patient now.
Your faith and market confidence drive you to feel that crypto market will soon boom. That was a kind of motivation but unfortunately, others don't have such a kind of attitude bringing them into a losing ends. We have the uptrend motion early this year but remember all of this is just a temporary and it is always changed in the next days. Nothing to be sure about the bullish or we drop again, but because of halving events, it certainly brings the market to have a positive response.
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nice Increase in Price but What Next?? on: January 09, 2020, 10:22:04 PM
What we are expected to happen?
It might all of us here are expecting to see Bullish again as the market starts to pulling up high. We started with an amazing market trend as halving approaches. But somehow, along with the continuous journey of crypto we can't certainly assure that it all be in the uptrend motion. Besides, declines may still exist and dumping and pumping schemes will always be there.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting strategy. on: January 09, 2020, 10:03:08 PM
Here is my strategy, I am expecting 2% per day, starting bank roll = 0.02btc. I will be attaching screen shots of my bets each day.
https://imgur.com/wkDh1Cx

2% per day profit is not good at all. If you lose few matches, you will probably end up more in losing, rather than winning. If you can predict sports betting, you should aim for 20-50% profit weekly. You only need to bet on matches in which you are confident about the winner and also you do not need to bet daily.
It just like OP is having fun with his betting odds.
And yes, 2% is not good at all if you only have a small amount to bet but you have $1000, that was $20 per day if he has a winning streak. Or even he loses in the next round, he is still be gaining. But the risk is too high also and we know already that gambling won't warrant anything to win all the time.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: January 08, 2020, 10:33:48 PM
It is really hard to understand why they still been caught for this action. Coz I don't believe that they don't have knowledge about crypto and also scamming issues. For the fact that a person offers big rewards and ROI in just a short period of time? Ain't wondering that it could be true and that is obviously a scam, maybe we are not blinded enough not to see it. Or maybe because of the name( a very known person) that gives them a way to believe which is eventually fake.
99  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Tips for Traders here on: January 08, 2020, 10:12:31 PM
Forget about tips and stuff. What everybody should do in the beginning of trading career is educate yourself and get grasp of basics first. There's just to many fomo cases throwing money in like insane and then putting together trading tips...
That should exactly we do now. Trading tips won't certainly give you help but it only bothers you in the future when asking you for money in returns for the tips that they'll give to you. Trading tips are just like a trick that scammers do, it often to become victims are those who want easy money, greedy people and those who don't have enough knowledge in trading.
100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: handling bitcoin volatility on: January 08, 2020, 09:48:02 PM
Everyone who has ever traded for more than a couple of hours have had episodes where their trades are wrecked because of bitcoin volatility reflecting on the whole market.

What tips do you guys have regarding protecting yourself from bitcoin sudden moves?
Have proper stop losses in place.
According to the market you can vary the strictness. Like in highly volatile time have strict stop losses while not so during sideways market. This way you will able to achieve your profit targets but not losing much. People here do enter the trade on time but when it comes to exit, under greed or emotions, they make loss.
Well, stop-loss trading is may help when you struggle difficulties but not exactly we all just through this kind of strategy because it never gives you profit.
The market volatility is our chance to market more gains if we can make trades at the right time. And why this volatility won't stop? Coz it depends on the buying and selling price which traders and investors have made. It will consistently change and if we go along with them, surely we don't suffer big losses.
