81  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How active can a newbie be daily? on: May 08, 2024, 08:55:37 AM
I greet you all
You know when you come to a forum like this you need to first know the do's and the don'ts, the rules and regulations, and most especially how to grow, in life we all want growth to some certain extent the same thing applies to this forum, I ask most of my friends here how can a newbie grow on this forum, they all keep saying, if you want to grow you need to be active on the forum,

My question is what does it mean to be active on the forum,
How many quality Posts can someone make daily before he or she can be considered active on this forum, sorry I ask a lot of questions so u can learn too.

It would depend for sure, you can do pretty active for sure but just make sure that the post wasn't just trash because if you're going to do that surely you're going to be tagged as spamming in the end. If you really wanted to be active here in the forum I would say that around 7 or 8 posts per day are going to be considered as a very active member, there was no issue for sure if you are going to post more as long it is useful one or your just having conversations, I mean on normal days I pretty much just post around 2-5 post per day, there are for sure times where your having some problems on crypto spaces, so I needed to ask members here that would probably increasing my post, if I really wanted some answers I would engage more.

As a newbie I wouldn't really recommend posting a lot here in the forum since it would surely drain you in the long run, I mean it's not really easy to reply to everyone or create your own topic it would take time. What you should do is to focus on the quality of your post since it is more important than quantity, and probably would help you get merits as well in order to rank up here in the forum. Still, you're in a Bitcoin and crypto forum, what I always say is start investing and exploring the cryptocurrency space, and in your journey, you could use this forum in order to help you with anything as long as it is related, you don't really need to stress everything here discussions are just the important thing so that we can all learn.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust bitcoin holders? on: May 08, 2024, 07:01:57 AM
I can't see how Bitcoin promotes anti-government and banks, I mean Bitcoin is just how it is, we can't change that for sure but It wasn't at all anti-government or anti-banks, probably it is just somehow opposite of it but I wasn't anti or something. We Bitcoin holders as well are not anti-government or anti banks but probably we just hate it since there were just too many things that weren't right at all, but still, we all have governments in different countries and we are a part of it, we use fiat system that's government and banks right. So we are supporting banks and government for sure, but there were just people on position on the government that is just wasnt doesnt the right thing that is why we hate it much, not to mention that the fiat system is just a huge scheme, but still it is what it is we just cant do anything about it the only thing we could do about it is to adjust on it.

Yes, I trust mostly a lot of Bitcoin holders that I know, but for sure there were some limitations on that, if you doesnt know someone then they not instantly going to earn your trust not just they are a Bitcoin holders, remember that there are a lot of scammers and hackers out there, if your install going to trust Bitcoin holders they will take advantage of you and scam you, so we always need to be careful on trusting anyone since hackers and scammers are probably investors as well.

84  Economy / Economics / Re: Your aging and retirement plan is your responsibility. on: May 07, 2024, 06:35:37 PM
Our future is something that we cannot really foresee, we don't know what is going to happen in the future or in our future, even at this day we might have a good stable income but in the future, we might not have that kind of income anymore, it is just something that we don't know and we just can't control. So saving and investing are just really important for everyone because it is going to secure our future, it is just something that is necessary to have for each and everyone, If you don't have a retirement plan for sure it is going to be difficult for you when your old already, I mean we surely have good income right now since we have strong body to work, but if we cannot work anymore there should be something like a source of income that we already have in order to survive. I would prefer for sure businesses, passive income, etc, but the easiest way is just to get a retirement plan.

Of course, we have cryptocurrency investments I personally hold for long-term investment, it can also be something that we could use in the future if you are going to hold for a very long time, I mean as long as you have multiple sources of income and diversify your money you will save and profit for your future, I have a lot of friends that are already old and have a huge financial problem to the point where they are already getting supported by there family just to eat, etc. Which is not ideal for your future, it is surely your responsibility so if you're still young you should always be saved for your future, I've learned it the hard way when I spent a lot of money that I earn when I was just a student on cryptocurrency, not it wasn't like that anymore and I really hope that I've saved more when Im earning thousands of dollars on crypto projects.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: Road to 100k? on: May 06, 2024, 06:51:37 PM
We have seen Bitcoin reach 70k USD and it even reached a point of 71k briefly. We are seeing history being made right here with the new all time high being set once again and it is happening even before halving.

I have high expectations that bitcoin will reach 100k but will it reach 100k without any major decline in price? Does it seem realistic that from 70k, bitcoin will continuously rise up?

For sure it was doable I think, I mean compared in the past years we can already see how Bitcoin progressed, and on every Bitcoin Halving event, we always see a huge boost in the market price of Bitcoin, even though we can clearly see that it is already starting to slow down from 1000x to 100x to even lower, at this point in the market we might only see around 2x on the market price of Bitcoin. Considering we have a lot of catalysts that boost the market price like the Bitcoin halving event and the Bitcoin ETF etc. we can see that Bitcoin has adapted to a lot of users already, here in my country cryptocurrency has already adapted to digital banking to the point where you could already buy and sell cryptocurrency on their own platform which I think is huge for adaptation because it is going to boost its users if there were millions of users of that digital banks they are all going to get influence and probably going to buy cryptocurrency as well.

At this rate even though we only have a few thousand jumps on the last all-time high I still think that 100k$ was obviously doable and my prediction in the coming Bullrun is around 150k$ which is surely around 2x of the current all-time high. Of course, just basing on the Bitcoin halving timeline, still it needed some delay in order to take effect of the halving most of the time its around a year before we see Bullrun, so probably we could reach 100k$ in 2025 in theory.
86  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What will happen to BTC if Government gets involved? on: May 06, 2024, 05:51:51 PM
With the way things are going and most governments being against bitcoin and crypto because criminals are using it, how would it be if Government finds a way to regulate it and all or most countries adopts it as legal tender?.
How will it affect the market?
Have you ever thought about that?.

I mean there are for sure some governments that is against Bitcoin because of its decentralization which is the complete opposite of what our fiat system is, which is centralization not to mention the huge inflation issue with it since the government could easily just print money whenever they wanted to increasing inflation and burning our hard earn money. With Bitcoin for sure that is going to be a completely different thing which is going to probably destroy their fiat system and banking how the money works. But I would say that Bitcoin is already adapted a lot in the whole world compared in the past years it surely have grown a lot, I could already see companies starting to adapt to the Cryptocurrency space and Bitcoin, there are already a lot of crypto projects out there that is already starting to adapt even here in my country. Even banking is starting to adapt crypto on their own platform, so I think at some point it might be possible that the government is probably gonna take advantage of crypto and Bitcoin, because they might not be able to stop it at all, for sure what they can do is to also adapt on it.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question to hodlers:How will you spend the money? on: May 06, 2024, 05:00:08 PM
Hello,friends
The question is addressed to hodlers who have been hodling bitcoin for years
Sooner or later there will come a moment when we will sell the bitcoins we hodl and have to invest this money in something else to create passive income
It can be real estate, any business, buying land and renting it out or something else
Very few people will sell bitcoins just to spend this money in a few months,at least i don't know such people
Everyone here is a smart person and everyone here has thought about where to spend this money
That's my question

P.s. I'm a holder myself,i'm thinking about strategies and i'm interested in the opinion of other hodlers to put these ideas in my head and think about them

-Regards

I mean there were surely a lot of people that are just holding Bitcoin and as far as I know, don't really have any plans on selling their Bitcoin any time soon, I kinda understand and I kinda don't at the same time but we all have different situations here, for some people, of course, they might not need to sell there Bitcoin at all because there already have the money to live on their a lifetime or even more, one thing that I've heard most of the time is they were just holding Bitcoin for inheritance and they just wanted to see how the Bitcoin is going to turn out in the end, is it going to skyrocket or might see if it is going to reach 1 million dollars something like that.

Personally, I am not really a fan of that since it wouldn't really matter at all if you are not going to sell it and make a profit on it, but still it would make sense if you don't need the money, but for normal citizens for sure the main goal is to make to a profit so you would need to make the best of the cycles in the market on bear market you for sure want to accumulate, and in the bull run surely would want to sell for profit and lower your risk.

89  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What can we do to make Bitcoin hit $100k on: May 05, 2024, 07:53:13 PM
I have always been thinking about what we could do to make Bitcoin hit a tremendous amount.

Is there anything we could do??

Bitcoin is still on its way to adapting all over the world so there was nothing that we need to do in my opinion, Bitcoin is just gonna continue to adapt on its own anyway, I mean just in the past years we can clearly see how the Bitcoin adapted all over the world, I remember back on 2017 when Bitcoin was just something that we don't really expect to be anything when it skyrockets to even 10k$. Compared to what it is today we can already see that Bitcoin and cryptocurrency have already adapted a lot these days to the point where it is already adapted by a lot of companies, back in the day Bitcoin and cryptocurrency were really hated by banks, and now I can already see digital banks adopting cryptocurrency, here in my country there are digital banks that already integrated cryptocurrency on their platform, you could easily buy and sell cryptocurrency on their platform already which is a huge help on adaptation since all of the bank's users are gonna be able to see or buy cryptocurrency on that platform, so it's a huge promotion already.

There were for sure things that we can still do in order to help its adaptation, the easiest way was on social media, probably just teaching people what is cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, altcoins, etc. its already a huge help for the community. I mean if you're going to create videos that include this information it is surely going to be a huge help for the future of cryptocurrency.

90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you successfully influenced someone to invest in bitcoin ? on: May 05, 2024, 07:30:40 PM
Have you successfully influenced someone to invest in bitcoin ?  What was the final result, did they thank you later for this ?

I did in my early days on cryptocurrency I did influence someone to invest in cryptocurrency and become a trader, he was my friend before in college and we really had a good time on cryptocurrency, since I told him about it we kinda get interested on it and at the same time earning a huge amount on it even though we were just student that time, one thing that I seen is he was really doing the research on it that is why he was able to make a good income on it and eventually being able to do it on there his own. He was thankful for sure about it since we both didn't imagine that we were gonna be able to earn that kind of amount at that time.

Telling someone about cryptocurrency and being able to help them was surely a good feeling, but I realize that you shouldn't really encourage people to invest in Bitcoin since it's going to be a risky investment for them, What I usually do is tell them everything that would discourage them on investing, and after that, if they still wanted to invest I will tell them that they should do it on there own not investing their money on someone that they know to invest for their money. If they really wanted to they should be the one that are going to grind, do the research, learn about cryptocurrency, learn about Bitcoin, etc.

91  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Scam phone call scheme on: May 05, 2024, 06:26:29 PM

92  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much of my salary should I use to gamble on: May 05, 2024, 03:28:10 PM
Gambling is becoming a popular thing in my locality almost everyone gamble and even colleagues gamble and engage in gambling related discussions at work,  so gambling is legal and very popular so there is no Shame in using part of a salary to gamble with that is why I am asking the question of what the right percentage from my salary that I should use to gamble?

I usually do around 1% up to 5% of my salary for bets, like right now I have a similar situation since at work we do bets on online gambling websites on NBA games, since its Finals we do a lot of bets online and the discussions are usually about it, I mean we are all NBA fans and its surely fun to do gambling bets on something that you really like it add a thrill on it as well as make you great feeling if you win the bet to mention the potential winning, I mean with a 10$ or 20$ bet you could easily earn 100$ on some easy bets on that, I mean it's a low-risk high reward in my opinion even though it was kinda difficult to do the bets.

5% I think is still manageable in my opinion as long as you know what you are doing you could easily recover from a 5% loss even though you lose that bet, your next salary could easily recover that so I don't see any problem with that as long as your gonna gamble responsibly and moderately.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: Take care of your money and learn to save. on: May 05, 2024, 01:52:29 PM
People's financial situation is not always the same as we have enough money now but in the future we may not have enough money to spend. Now we have enough money so now I will go out of my way to spend money as I want for no reason then later when I don't have enough to spend but no one else will give me money to spend. It is a fact that as long as you have money and as long as you spend money behind others people will speak for you and people will be with you but if one day you want to walk with them without spending money then you will find no one to walk with. Since money brings people closer and money drives people away, money should be given the most importance.

The amount of money that we are earning now is divided into several parts and the remaining money is the money but if we want we can invest or save so that if there is a financial crisis in the future but this saved money will support us well.

We must be careful about money, if you are careful about money then there is no problem if people call you stingy because some people's job is to say bad things about others.

It's a good thing to save and invest for your future, it's a pretty basic thing that we need to learn if we want to achieve financial freedom, but there are still some people who don't care or are safe not realize how important saving and investments is, I realize it the hard way back when I was just a college student, I was lucky to learn cryptocurrency and Bitcoin, I was able to join many projects if you are familiar with ICO back in 2017 you could be lucky most of the times earning thousand of dollars in this kind of project. So as a college student, I have a huge amount of money but it just ends up being spent on so many things, I really regret it not saving a lot that time, I always thought that I could spend that money since I'm still a student and when I graduated and get a job that's the time I would start to save so for now I just enjoy it, which is a pretty bad decision for me.

Now, I have a stable income but I just wish that I saved a lot that time, that could probably help me a lot right now if I just knew it, it's really hitting me hard right now that I already realize how to save and invest money, Probably it's also a good thing because if I didn't experience it I wouldn't going to realize it, now I don't spend my money on things that I cant really afford. I manage my financial, I would say that I have a pretty solid financial foundation having savings, insurance, investments, etc. which allow me to hold my cryptocurrency for the long term.

95  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is going to happen with Bitcoin now? on: May 04, 2024, 09:15:39 PM
I have seen that after this Bitcoin halving, the price of Bitcoin has decreased a lot. As far as I know that after every halving the price of bitcoin increases exponentially and it increases about 3 to 4 times, but this time I saw that the price of bitcoin has decreased a lot after halving, but I have seen in several places that they say the price of bitcoin is halving. After that it will decrease a bit and then it will increase rapidly. As such, after checking the market today, I saw that After the fall in the price of Bitcoin, the price is slowly increasing again. Bitcoin price was below 57K three days ago and today Bitcoin price is $63,585.10. Does that mean we will see a Bitcoin bull market now? Or will it decrease again? What is your view on Bitcoin?

You should check the Bitcoin Halving Timeline you could notice that the market is gonna drop on Bitcoin Halving and slowly gain momentum after around 365 days where it would actually skyrocket if you are going to base it on the past halving, so if we are going to follow that pattern we could assume that the market price is probably gonna continue to drop down, and then after a few months slowly going to gain its momentum to skyrocket and that is probably where the Bullrun is going to take place.

I don't really think it is already a Bullrun, Based on the pattern we could see that the price is slowing down, from x1000 in the first halving the ideal price is around 150k$ in my opinion surely it was impossible already to even have 100x on Bitcoin, the possible profit was also decreasing as we see more halving so the possible profit was just around x2 since its going to need a huge amount of money put into Bitcoin just to see that x2 happened.

Something new could easily happened we just doesn't know but my bet is still on the pattern, so the Bullrun is probably going to be around 2025, if that doesn't happened I would still plan to sell my Bitcoin whatever that market price is, or probably just sell a huge percentage of it to take profit.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you increasing your bitcoin investments because of today halving ? on: May 04, 2024, 05:53:09 PM
Are you increasing your bitcoin investments because of today halving ? For how long do you plan to hold this new investment from here on.

For sure on how the market reacts I'm increasing and still accumulating Bitcoin today, I was really expecting the market price of Bitcoin to drop on the day of Bitcoin halving since that is probably what happened in the past halving, especially in the last Bitcoin halving where I actually learn the hard way, thinking that the Bitcoin halving is going to boost the market I ended up selling a huge percentage of my Bitcoin last time, I mean for sure we could expect in theory that the market is going to react in the Bitcoin halving or going to increases its market price because Bitcoin halving is going to lower the supply right, but there was a delay on its effect not to mention we have some kind of network congestion that time, there were just a lot of factors plus network needed to adjust in the coming months in order to see the effect of the supply, there are also miners that would probably sell since they needed to take profit.
97  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto airdrop seminar on: May 04, 2024, 04:44:01 PM
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my gambling life started. on: May 03, 2024, 08:34:11 PM
In years past before the casino and other online gambling bet platforms was discovered and brought to our knowledge, I and some family relatives used to play the card games but on the sequence some of us were becoming unserious in the game that it wasn't competitive so, we decided to have stakes with little amount of cents of $ which we could afford to loose just to buckle and cheers everyone up.
Time goes where we increases the stakes to make us more serious to the extend we began to bet about $1 which we can afford to loose at other expenditures but it seems unbearable loosing it on the caused of betting.
On a serious note, we saw this as a mere bet of competitions and not as gambling. As we advances, we saw it as a domestic gambling and not as the wild gambling that could cause one emotional outbreaks.

Time goes that it becomes unusual that we began to feel offenced and rebelled that we as relatives(1 family) are extorting from each other without empathy for one another and then, we unconciously grew wild developing in sentiments, greeds and taking it as an avenue to make profits.
Alongside, it was more of serious business than the just fun.

Then the casino and other online bet platforms was introduced in time. This was how I was exposed and my begining of gambling life!

Probably we all have experiences as a kid on friendly games, where we just want to have a little thrill and make it more fun, I mean it was pretty common for sure if you just played for nothing, it wouldn't make you play serious in some situation since you don't really have anything to lose at some point, even though you lose the game then you lose that just how it works right, you didn't really have to lose anything on that probably just pride, but it was still normal to lose sometime. Putting some kind of bet on this is going to make it more fun and serious for sure since it would include reward, or most of the time money betting, I usually do this on basketball games, which is pretty common when I'm still high school for sure for quick money if you're a good basketball player, you could easily make quick money, as well as you just wanted to just play as well since just scoring, shooting, running etc. is already fun. I would say that its probably where I stated to start gambling as well, and probably if you are familiar with carnival which is pretty popular here in my country I was really addicted to those carnival games.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Personal Financial Goals vs Government expectations! on: May 03, 2024, 05:08:50 PM
Have you ever thought about this, what we are trying to achieve in our personal financial life is completely diverge from what the government expects their citizens to do.

We as Individuals always thrive to achieve financial independence in our lives especially someone who is from the average middle person but what the government expects from the middle class is different and is kind of surprising when we give deep thought about it, The Government highly relies on the middle-class tax payers for the money and most of the taxes collected in the form of indirect taxes so that people may not actually aware that they are paying taxes for everything from their salary, fuel, medicine, anything everything has taxes that eat most our earnings.

So as a result we are paying from 10% to over 50% of our earnings just in the form of taxes in one or another way. So one who really wants to achieve financial independence should find a way to reduce their tax pay legally like how the businessmen do.

Or like the bald guy says, we need to find a way to exit the Matrix. Cheesy

I would say that it is kinda of impossible to find a way to exit the matrix here since we are all controlled and managed by the government I mean we have a government in every country and that is just how it works even in different countries they all have their own government so we can't really escape paying taxes not to mention the fiat money system is the best Ponzi scheme ever, earning money where the government could just easily print money whenever they want, we are the one paying the price by inflation. I mean probably you could if you're gonna do it illegally, in my first job the company didn't really pay taxes, there was no official receipt etc. Since the owner has a lot of connections etc. I guess you could it just wouldn't be legal.

The thing here is we are the ones that needed to adjust since there was just nothing that we could do, I've realized a lot of things because of the low income, if you really wanted to have financial independence you need is have a financial foundation and knowledge on it, One of my favorite quotes that I apply is, do not buy anything that you can't afford. Sometimes there are just things that we buy that we can't really afford that is why we are having a hard time with our financial things. I learned from a financial advisor to save a lot like 40% of your income, which is going to actually be a good thing in the future, I invested a lot and now I can see that it is already working in my financial achievement, Having the financial foundation like savings, emergency funds, insurances, investments, etc. is actually the best advice and would make your cryptocurrency investment long term hold easy.

I've already said it many times here in the forum, we don't have an accurate date when will the market is going to move since market movement cannot really be predicted for sure, but the pattern that we could rely on is on the Bitcoin halving timeline, If we are going to base on that the possible date is going to be 2025 since its about 365 days usually around 1 year after the Bitcoin Halving that is where we could see a huge rally where the Bullrun could comes.

You have already held for a long time already and invested your money accumulating Bitcoin I would say that one more year is not really going to actually hurt in the end, either way, it would still depend on how are you going to plan your exit, but if you have a good financial foundation you could easily survive bear market it doesn't really matter I guess if your planning to hold long term anyway, just make sure you have other sources of income and for sure you could hold until the Bullrun.
