in my view for ico right now "so free, later in 2019 there will still be but true" qualified ico and clear company who follows the project and has a legal entity.
Yes, previously ICOs was more conservative and used escrow service to keep investors money. Then it had changed and the scam rate pumped up.

People we are all arguing that 80-90% of projects are scam startups. But in order to avoid it, we just need to invest only in ICOs, which use Escrow. That's it.
No product progress = no money.
Easy to say but nowadays its rare to see for a certain team to let escrows handle the money had been accumulated on the sale.Either they do have doubts to the escrow itself even no matter how trustable it is when it comes on handling millions of USD you cant assure if those trustable escrows wont able to be tempted to steal off that's why we don't really see such thing. So in either both sides theres no guarantee but I agree on the fact that having a product would really be more appealing to invest on. I remember when ICO trend was starting. Almost every startup was using Escrow. But then the hype was so huge that ICOs decided dont use it and it was a fault. Now investors dont believe even to good projects.

New sell btc or eth. Just never.
If can invest 100 USD per month into crypto - do it regularly and forget about the rest.

Hy guys. Most of the time I use to trade with altcoins and I use to sell altcoins when they are above ICO price and giving some profit. I do not hold atlcoins for long time. What if you have some altcoins, what will be your strategy to use that coins? Is there any specific best time for every altcoin and when it is going well and we should sell ??
Are there any exchanges where I could use margins to open short positions for altcoins (not BTC, ETH)?
|
|
|
It is time to buy ETH/USD and ETH/BTC. ETH will never be below 200
|
|
|
Wait when ETH will be 200 USD and buy it. Don't buy any ICO or other altcoins
|
|
|
The great news should come today to the market to attract people to open marginal long positions in BTC. It's needed for a limited recovery to 6700-6900 and going down further to 5000 afterward.
|
|
|
If you prefer to trade intraday (open short and long positions) then it does not matter what time to participate.
If you prefer only buy and hold then wait for the good purchase price 198-210 for ETH and 3500-5100 for BTC

As a 5 years of experience i tried every method for waiting optimal profit. Waiting just with a hold of any coin is not very good at short and mid-term time intervals. Generally holders wait for historical rise but it comes in 3-4 years or maybe more. So even if you wait for that rise you can gain something on short and mid-term time. Basically i assume you have some coin just sell some of them on a small rise period, price is moving with 6k-8k for a few month so when you see 7-8k prices start to sell dont sell all but some of them should be great. Even if it rises after you sell you are now waiting it to fall , and short time period it always falls just wait 1-2 months low and buy even if it drops more you basically gained profit. So if you can read some trend moves you can invest mid-term so you dont have to hold for years. If price starts to rise historically then it is time to buy.
Agree and would also recommend traders to use a standard deviation rule (or bolinger bands). The price is always tend to be between 2 standard deviation above and below median price. So, apply days (or month) time frame and sell/buy when a price hit appear/lower band.

Social media is a good source for learning on how to use strategies and at what time. Just keep in mind that many traders offer their advice for a particular situation in a particular time. You should design your own tactics, at your own pace. There is no guarantee that everything you see in these guides will work out for you the same way it did for posters. Keep learning, trade, and draw your own conclusions. https://www.cryptocointrade.comI had not met any "professional trader" whose forecasts published on social medias were successful in 60% of times.

Also add: - usage of high level leverage/margins - trading many pairs simultaneously instead of focusing one 1-2 pairs.

Hi I am just new in trading I just want to know how do you pick a trading platform? I am so confuse on how to pick a nice trading platform also I want to know what coin should I start to used for my trading.
Chose ETH or BTC because they are the most tradable assets on that market. Keep in mind that ETH has a higher volatility than BTC. So if you're a newbie then ETH trading can cause a higher damage to your deposit balance.

Hi I've been doing some short-term swing trades (but you might call day trades). All about watching for momentum and trying to ride it up and get out before it goes down (1-2% per trade). I learned about it here: https://discord.gg/nCmjwmQ. Do check it out if you are interested - I promise you no-one bites there! I'm mostly in and out within an hour or two. Does that matter? Should I be swinging longer to try and benefit from pumps but keeping a tight stop loss? Any success (or failure) stories welcome. Cheers Don't increase a time-frame because there is a rule: the risk of loss increases when you increase the time of being in a one-direction trade position.

Which do you prefer?
Hello Everyone, want to ask few questions here.
Short term or Long term investment? Which is more profitable to you? What coins do think that is good for long term now?
Feel free to comment your ideas and opinions.
I prefer long term trading vs short one because you don't have to nerve and look at charts during whole days and nights (including weekends). The best strategy (especially now is to invest 10-100$ every month into btc or eth and forget about this money for the next 10 years. You should invest into crypto (and only to established coins) as into your pension plan.

See market prices of crypto currency increasingly fluctuate I think there are a lot of traders who suffered losses, and In taking a decision, many traders are still affected by emotions. Fourth factor that's the meaning, of is a type of emotions:
- Greed Almost all traders familiar with the types of emotions, the desire to obtain profit possible in a very short time. Greedy nature incurred due to excessive self-confidence. Usually happens after the trader earn profit in a row. They are not aware or forgot that important fact in trading is not can expect definite results of each trade.
- Fear A sense of fear entered the market usually occur after consecutive losses experienced trader. Fear is basically a natural response so that we can survive in the market. However, excessive fear will make traders lost the opportunity to gain profit. During trader comply with rules risk management and trading plan has been made, he should not be afraid to enter the market.
- Hope Excessive hopes or unrealistic in trading could harm. Hope to always profit often cause traders to not follow trading plan that has been agreed upon.
- Regret Regrets that constantly will destroy trading gradually. Regret usually arise after a trader lost some chances to buy or sell, or after experiencing considerable losses. If it is not quickly resolved, the kind of emotion this would be developed into fear, and in extreme cases could make him leave the world of trading.
To prevent these types of emotions , we should always be aware of whether we're in emotions when trading, because trading with the emotions will only make our trading destroy.
I would add one more factor. It's the usage of high leverage/margin. As we know from FOREX 200:1 margin will definitely kill any deposit. In the crypto trading even 5:1 margin will kill your deposit because of: - high volatility - high manipulations

Hi all,
First of all, I am sorry for my noob question, I tried to google the answer, but it looks like the answer is so obvious (for everyone except me, haha) that nobody discuss this question.
On many exchanges I see the following logic of work:
- There are two Order Books: Buy and Sell - There are two Order Forms (to create order): Buy and Sell - If I click on the already created order from the Sell Order Book, it will auto fill the fields in the Buy Order Form. - If I click on the already created order from the Buy Order Book, it will auto fill the fields in the Sell Order Form.
The question is what for do exchanges need it? What is the logic behind it?
Because, as far as I understand, even after I "autofill" the form, and click Buy (or Sell), the matching will not be toward the order price (that I filled) but for the best price? Or no? Or it will match toward price I filled and all the better prices, and therefore there will be more than one matching and several buys/ sells?
Please, help.
You should specify in your question what exchange you use because all exchanges are different. Fordelta's (typical DEX exchange) utilizes a one order book logic while centralized exchanges another.

There are many cryptocurrencies out there, the fluctuation is wide and big. There’s a need of a coin that uses a process to stabilize its value.
No doubt that there is no other cryptocurrency or altcoin that can supersede the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years. Of course there are many rising competitors like Ethereum, ripple and litecoin.
Do you agree???
BTC will be the digital gold forever. I don't know any other not centralized cryptocurrency which would be so widely known.
