Warning possible keylogger or sensitive data extraction please reinstall your OS if you have already lost some bitcoins
I've dealt with hdclover on the 9.5.13 selling him YACs. He was desperate to get more. Anyhow I have checked the BTC address he sent my payment from and there is nothing missing. So either hdclover had a different wallet.dat corrupted or did not lose anything. Anything else, make your own conclusions. And feel free to repost that to the other posts he did. I never posted that I lose my BTC, I just post to warn people the potential danger of Yacoin client may extend to keylogger or sensitive data stolen, cheers LULWUT? Thread title: Re: ★★ ▀▄▀▄▀ WARNING YACOIN IS TROJAN STEALING UR BITCOIN ▀▄▀▄▀ ★★ OP: "DO NOT DOWNLOAD and QUICKLY UNINSTALL/DELETE YACOIN from your system and make clean install of your OS" he's just hoping yac dies and RYC somehow has a death gasp so he can try to move his hundreds of thousands of them.

for what its worth, protecting the compiled 32bit minerd that is shown in the screenshot (325kb) with themida32 gives you an executable of ~850kb, not 785kb. I've "protected" the file 10 times, and only the size only differs by a few k each time. thoughts?

but then how will the dev get rich quick?

if i was a betting man, i'd put my money on the oversized "antivirus free" minerd.
Betting on irony? betting on the minerd that is more than doubled in size.

Can someone please confirm for me the file name of this download?
I have all my downloaded clients in a folder and want to see if I downloaded this one.
I think the tell is in the filesize of minerd.exe Is >700k not throwing up red flags for anyone else?

1) buy up dead/dying coin 2) smear campaign on the *hot* altcoin 3) promote resurrection of dead coin 4) profit.

Can some admin just scam tag this tool and remove the thread! How can anyone be stupid enough to make an [ANN] thread about a future possible announcement? Also: Sure JR member, we bet you are up to 'big things'... *sigh* he is up to big things, don't you see all the anti-yac threads? thats his marketing team.

Did nobody find it strange that the "virus-free" minerd binary size was so large? my tinfoil hat is pointing at the "virus free" minerd.

I heard YAcoin is only solo mining, how do you do that?
the yacoin thread ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=196196.0), has a link to the client. extract it, and run the client until it updates all the blocks. Close the client, then from a command prompt run "yacoin-qt -gen". To check its working go to help > debug window > console > and type "gethashespersec". if it returns >0 you're mining. then you just wait it out. When you hit, you get ~50 coins.

you might want to try cudaminer on that fx1800, i can't imagine it pulling any decent hashrate but >0 at least.
