I believe we can add this quite easily. Smiley

I'm very glad to hear this! I believe that running the benchmark for more that 60 seconds (90 for EWBF that initializes a bit slower) is too much for many usesrs. A longer benchmark would be way more accurate - however many users will be annoyed by it! Sad

Smiley Good to hear! For now we are focusing on making sure the GPUs are detected in the correct order (since version 2.10). After we get this confirmation more coins and pools will be added.  Thanks a lot for your nice comment!
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [BetterHash] - Easy mining GUI application for Windows on: January 03, 2018, 08:20:47 PM
The benchmark is done by running each miner for 60 or 90 seconds. It's only a estimation. You can change assign different miners to your GPUs, the ones that YOU decide to be the most profitable. Please keep me informed on what works better for you.

Other than this - are all GPUs detected correctly?
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [BetterHash] - Easy mining GUI application for Windows on: January 03, 2018, 07:13:23 PM
On a GPU rig I wouldn't advise using the CPU (unless it's a very powerful one). If the CPU is not mining - everything looks ok?
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [BetterHash] - Easy mining GUI application for Windows on: January 03, 2018, 06:33:39 PM
We only notified part of the users. Smiley We want to make sure everything is ok. Smiley If you have any mixed NVIDIA / AMD rigs and you go through the benchmark again - I am really curious if it detects all GPUs correctly.

It's already out there - we just didn't launch the automatic update. You can get it from here:

Hi Asrorz,

I will try answering your questions one by one. No, the app is not some sort of scam, I simply cannot understand how you could encounter so many issues.

1. I cannot answer such a general statement "I lost 60$ from my account - where is it". I don't know your previous balance, I don't understand what you mean by "I lost"; you didn't give me too many details. For the first account that you mentioned you had several withdrawals. All of them are confirmed in the blockchain.

2. For the second account I cannot understand what you mean by "unstable balance". You have a confirmed balance and a pending balance. The confirmed one will NEVER change while the pending balance usually increases. The pending balance is calculated based on data that we receive from the pool: estimated next payment and confirmed shares. If these fluctuate (not too much though!) then the pending balance might fluctuate too. While looking at this second account I noticed a "locked balance" - something that appears when a wallet did not not respond; this has been solved a few minutes ago.

3. The BTC transfer works ok, as you successfully withdrew from the first account. Yes, during the very first days after launch we had to temporary disable it 3-4 times in order to solve some scalability issues and also work on combining multiple transfers into one in order to lower the fees to 0.0003 BTC. Anyway - this took only a few pauses and during all this time - withdrawals in all other coins worked 100%.

4. No account was scammed, if you withdrew funds - it's normal to get a message that says "insufficient funds". Simply change your password. If you somehow left the application running on a machine (at work perhaps) and someone logged it from the application - maybe this happened. Or you were the one withdrawing the funds. If an IP address can help - I can take the server logs and offer any assistance that might help you track down what happened. More than this you can uncheck "keep me logged in" in the app if you use BetterHash on a public PC.

Contacting us by using the ticketing system in our app and on our website can solve these issues very fast. We answer all messages that we receive: communication with our users helped us develop and improve BetterHash.

Kindest regards,

Everything is fully automated. As soon as the pool your shares to us - we add them to your account as unconfirmed. When we receive the payment from the pool we move the unconfirmed shares to confirmed.

There'll be a lot of changes in the January version. Now that we solved the Bitcoin withdrawal fee (lowered to only 0.0003 BTC) we need to focus on users having mixed AMD-NVIDIA rigs. Wink

Great. If you will deactivate that one - you won't receive the notification emails. They are set to be set once every 6 hours, starting with the moment your 2-hours average drops to zero.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [BetterHash] - Easy mining GUI application for Windows on: December 29, 2017, 11:45:43 AM
Please drop me a private message with your login email. I will take a look.

I checked and you have ~9 PCs in your account. All of them have active notifications and, you're right - you recently received some notifications because some of the 9 PCs are not working anymore. If you want to stop receiving notifications for a specific PC, deactivate them. You can do this from the email you receive or from your online account - in Notifications.

Kind regards,

Daniel

94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [BetterHash] - Easy mining GUI application for Windows on: December 29, 2017, 07:40:56 AM
Thanks a lot for letting me know. It never happened during our testing - however I read some reports that some mining algorithms need the CPU to be "free from mining". EWBF seems to be one of them.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [BetterHash] - Easy mining GUI application for Windows on: December 28, 2017, 03:28:13 PM
Hi,

This is something that might happen because of the CPU. Can you retry with the CPU mining disabled disabled? I believe EWBF will work ok if you use GPU ming only.

UPDATE: We now have the lowest BTC withdrawal fee out there!

As promised a few days ago, we found a solution and we have lowered the BTC withdrawal fee. The current fee is set to 0.0003 BTC, and it is the lowest one on the market. We have also lowered the minimum withdrawal amount to 0.001 BTC. Keep in mind that you can also withdraw the mined currency directly (without exchanging it to BTC) by paying the network fee only. Spread the news, because sharing is caring! Happy mining Smiley

Hello again!

I just noticed a lot of messages that piled up here! We made a lot of changes and we were "under siege" by the increasing number of users. This means a lot of messages we have to answer and, most of the time, answering messages means pausing the development. The entire team needed to focus more than 12 hours per day in adding the most important feature of all: BTC withdrawals. It's almost finished and, during testing, about 10 people made successful withdrawals.

Since BetterHash is a software was designed to be as easy to use as possible - a lot of beginner miners Smiley adopted it and we had a *huge* number of questions to answer. This slowed us down, unfortunately. This is why we added a ticketing system in order to better answer all questions.

I can confirm that we need to improve mining on mixed rigs: when you have a combination of NVidia and ATI it won't work at 100% capacity. We'll improve this in January.

The development of BetterHash, especially the online part, was more difficult than we initially expected; we now have a roadmap (it will be published today on https://www.betterhash.net/) and we'll stick to it!

A big "thank you" for everyone that supported and trusted us!

Kindest regards,

Daniel STATESCU

Hi,

We are working on this. For now we only implemented separate wallets for each mined coin. We hope to be able to finish the development of the BTC conversion by the end of this month. As soon as this step is done we'll also be offering transfers to USD to European Union residents.

Kind regards,

Daniel

Thanks a lot for the nice words, they mean a lot to us! Smiley We'll soon add more options. In fact, the latest update solved another issue: after a PC restart BetterHash was started only after logging in. This has been solved and the application now starts as soon as the system boots.
