Supremely against this idea because it takes any privacy away and it stripes you forever. Why are people so dead set on giving up their privacy? I will gladly give up the chance of me getting found in a remote situation for my freedom and privacy everyday.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Received An Email From MyEtherWallet on: February 26, 2018, 06:12:22 PM
I am sorry for those who have ever been fooled by irresponsible people. They have fun with their games that are actually hated by many people. I hope those who commit the crime can get the same vengeance as their deeds.
Don't feel sorry for them, their pain is their lesson and they should learn from their pains here. I do also hope that scammers get the karma that is coming to them, I mean how do they actually live with themselves on a day to day basis? Seems like to me only psychopaths are scammers, because somebody who cares and is emphatic wouldn't steal and scam some innocent people.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [News] Feeling uncomfortable, but we should know it on: February 26, 2018, 06:04:56 PM
Honestly I am not surprised and in fact am surprised that the number of failure isn't higher. Give it one year and I believe that number will be north of 90% maybe 80% if some projects are on their last legs.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex is bought by Circle on: February 26, 2018, 06:01:42 PM
I did not see until now, and nope no way I trusted them with funds after the slow times of last summer. Also don't think it was ever legal to use anon names on Poloniex website, maybe you just got away with one there. Regardless though, having one company absorbing another can't be a bad thing and you would hope they try improve customer relations moving forward. If they can do that, I don't see why Poloniex can't go back to a top 5 website.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: February 26, 2018, 05:54:52 PM
While you all are hoping for bank to accept Bitcoin, I am here hoping that my bank will accept my fiat transfer from a Bitcoin exchange. Oh the levels to this game Cheesy
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why the hell people invest in coins with a huge supply. on: February 26, 2018, 05:49:06 PM
You ask why, yet you bought Tron yourself? Perhaps ask yourself why you bought that Tron it will be the best insight. The main reason I see people wanting to buy big supplies is because they want to own a large amount and want to own more than one coin. If you had $100 you could either have 0.01 Bitcoin but if it was Ripple lets say you could have 50 Ripple at that price. People like to own more than one of something, and that also applies to cryptocurrencies.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Animosity Towards Banks on: February 26, 2018, 01:11:40 AM
You all have laid out solid and fundamental reasons as to why banks are hated but I believe the biggest one was missed and I will explore that. The biggest reason why I and most people here probably hate banks is because

-They exclude more than 75% of the world from financial services

And that fact alone makes me sick to my stomach. I could go on a rant for two hours about how inhumane, and terrible that is but I think we all here know the power and ruthless nature of banks. Think of that 75% next time you think we are just mad at the banks alone.
88  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you sick of cliche trading advice? on: February 26, 2018, 12:56:56 AM
You forgot the two most imfamous cliche trading tips of all time and those are

-DYOR (do your own research for those who don't know Wink)
-Invest what you can afford to lose
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: Waiting for a bitcoin rise. on: February 26, 2018, 12:31:34 AM
Stable is good too, don't forget that it isn't crashing which is a positive in itself. While I am bullish long term on the price action for Bitcoin I don't have a date for you that it will surpass 50k. I believe it will happen this year around October but it could happen next year that time, or 5 years from now. It could also never happen which is why we must protect ourselves and our investments on a daily basis.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Its over guys on: February 24, 2018, 09:28:16 PM
Does the internet still exist? Check
Do people still dislike governments and banks? Check
Are people still worried their money will be constantly devalued everyday moving ahead? Check

You can see why it isn't over and why people will continue to choose Bitcoin over the current monetary system, it doesn't take a genius to see the flaws we currently have and the solutions to it (Bitcoin).
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing In Top Coins or The Others on: February 24, 2018, 09:13:30 PM
Comes down to simple risk vs reward my friend
In other words when you go to the racetrack what kind of horse do you like betting on? If the heavy favorites bet BTC and ETH, but if you like the 100:1 longshot then bet on some shitcoin nobody has heard of but you swear "Its the next BTC"
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the year of other altcoins? on: February 24, 2018, 09:08:47 PM
Like the title, is this the year of other altcoins and ICOs rather than the Bitcoin?
Due to the last problems in the Bitcoin blockchain like increasing fees and time transaction, the increasing interest on this world will bring more valuable scenario in others cryptos?
Fees and transaction times are now a thing of the past, what altcoin will overthrow Bitcoin now? Hard to imagine one, but if it does come close it will have an actual use-case in this world other than being quick and cheap imho.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: peculium on: February 24, 2018, 09:00:41 PM
While they could be a fine project I have troubles believing AI can help us with problems and think it will actually be the root of our problems. I don't give the technology a chance, but I hope something like that succeeds one day, as long as it means we are intact as humans Cheesy.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - lowest fee - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: February 24, 2018, 08:56:58 PM
When exactly we can call Cryptopia "scam"? I mean, they pay/deposit 10% of total times.. It is not enough to call an exchanger scam? If so, can we report it to someone? They are real, have legal activities and all.. We must do something, no?
Who exactly are you going to report to, this market is unregulated there is nobody to report to! They are real, they aren't scamming otherwise they would have done it by now, they just have tons of stuff to do probably. Sad to say but there isn't anything we can do except talk with your wallet and go to another exchange. This is also why BTX should have more than a handful exchanges, so we can't be held hostage like this!
95  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stabilizes? on: February 21, 2018, 01:50:46 AM
Bitcoin price will never be stable. There are too many speculations involved. Price will change forever. Also, daily fluctuations are too big for BTC to become stable.

Well don't say never but I would agree that it will take a couple years still for it to become more stable than it currently is. It can't be as stable as the US dollar though that has been around much longer than Bitcoin. Perhaps when Bitcoin is 200 years old too it will become super stable itself Wink Cool.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Some advices and references for a newbie? on: February 21, 2018, 01:45:43 AM
-Dont put all your eggs in one basket
-Do all your research
-Don't follow advice blindly from others or go for "guaranteed money"
-Do practice risk and emotion management
-Don't fall prey to FOMO, have a gameplan and execute it
-Do tons of more research before making any moves, the markets are volatile and not forgiving.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ”Zen Master” Steven Seagal Eyes Up a Replacement for Bitcoin on: February 21, 2018, 01:41:08 AM
So much dumb, so little time. I mean cmon you should at least try being original, this will never catch on. Hurts my brain to think somebody thought this was a good idea...I weep for humanity sometimes. Cry
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value is in the proof of blockchain on: February 21, 2018, 01:38:22 AM
Yes that is why it is paradoxical and stupid to say we want to keep the blockchain but bitcoin we don't want you. That is akin to you saying I want the new tires of the care but I want to keep the horse carriage, it just doesn't make sense!
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does Regulation Attempt affects the Bitcoin Price? on: February 21, 2018, 01:33:40 AM
110% correct you are, whether the news is positive or negative the markets always react. Take a couple weeks back for example when South Asian countries were saying they weren't going to ban cryptocurrencies and thought the tech was interesting, the markets reacted by going further down. It wasn't until the SEC sent out a bullish sentiment did the markets recover so yeah suffice to say the markets react a lot to the mainstream media and regulation news.
100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinbase issues - updates indicate it's under control on: February 17, 2018, 06:01:18 PM
Updated - VISA have confirmed liability is on their side, not Coinbase.

*phew*

I gotta say not only does that surprise me but I am relieved for those who had any confidence in Coinbase. Now what you should do is get the hell of Coinbase because if not this time they will screw you over some time down the line. Why would you pay 5% vig on BTC when you can pay as little as 0.25% at a fine exchange like Bitstamp? I know Coinbase is convenient but not when they go down every time there is a peak moment. Bitstamp on the other hand has not crashed since their hack a couple years back, you can be sure of this.
