Previously, Panamaniam homebuilders have faced entry barriers related to home financing in Panama. That's where Prime-Ex sees an opportunity.
Entry barriers = Mortgages must be repaid by age 75 in Panama. So, retired expats only have a few years to pay a loan! Not good. Entry barriers = Local banks in Panama hardly accept Self-employment income as a proof of income. So, younger expats (with a family?) who own a business can't buy a house either! Entry barriers = It ends up being cheaper to rent than to buy for expats in Panama. Prime-Ex will revolutionize this! |

Just got my attention with this project so its from Real-estate again so what are you trying to do with the real estate problems? Are you going to build a platform?
@ice18 - Forgive my ignorance - What do you mean by building a platform? Prime-Ex is using Waves to distribute the PEX-Token, and the assumption is that you will be able to trade PEX-Tokens in the DEX. I guess the answer to your question is NO? Problems Prime-Ex Solves: It's VERY HARD for expats in Panama to buy a house because of local banking laws. Prime-Ex will build and self-finance houses for expats in Panama (see the Revolution Loan). There's hundreds of expats coming in to Panama monthly. There should be lots of demand for these houses (my humble opinion). Those who buy homes with Prime-Ex will receive a mortgage discount when they pay with PEX-Tokens. This will create organic demand for the PEX-Token. I find it neat. I hope you too! Real estates project seems popular now, it's indeed a good investment. I think choosing a right spot makes it unique in any other real estates project that gains success.
@Armstand, you are right. Panama has a lot of momentum, and lots of growth potential. I don't think there's a better spot in Latin America where Prime-Ex could do this POC. But, on top of a great location, Prime-Ex also has a team. Check out in LinkedIn the experience of Ulrich in real estate development, and John in commercial lending. These guys know what they are talking about! |

That actually makes sense @kerberox I did a little asking around, most of the people here in Aruba that own timeshares that are in hotels here have told me they would prefer if they had more options for villas here. I guess the mentality sticks with that more open space and less crowded and congested buildings. But I think that it would make a very nice diversification for higher penthouse scenic views don't you think? I would love to own a Penthouse in Panama with PEX-Tokens! The the PPP Special! and Perpetual! @kchulani - The more houses to sell, and the more options available for expats, the better! What is life like in Aruba? You should consider moving to Panama! |

Oh, and I think houses are the right product! From what I've read, expats (Prime-Ex target market) seem to prefer a detached house rather than a condo, because expats prefer to live in less crowded areas, with a backyard and what not (again, my opinion from reading).

I wanted to know something, now I know that the complex in the beginning will be consisting of 100 houses, are there plans for making apartments or condo's as well? Or is it limited to American Style or Western houses?
In the Nasdaq video, John talks specifically about "north-american or european style house" and it's the same thing I see in the whitepaper. I guess this will be Prime-Ex scope for the first 125 houses. |

Now Prime-ex is starting to really get a lot more attention. Glad to get in early. I was reading more on Panama and it is a fascinating place. I know now more why now they have chosen Panama, because of the Panama Canal the amount of expats increases almost every year. It's time Prime-ex start housing them! :-)

I know that the primary markets are Americans, but on their site I do see that they mention European markets. I find that myself being in the Caribbean , over the years I have seen many Europeans now starting to travel more to the west. Before the more popular destinations for Europeans were Tenerife, which actually is a great place for Prime-ex to consider. I have been there and I believe that they may be a very good Market in the Canary Islands for Prime-ex.
@kchulani, where did you see European markets? I've read their docs and seen their website a few times, and can't recall that. |

Why would other producers want to have their produce traced with Ambrosus technology?
