I would say Bitcoin is very impressive but there are other coins that are going at a faster pace. They are continuously working. Lamden for instance is coming with its new exchange and it is making its users satisfied too. So to say that other coins are fast, will not be wrong.

2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin
3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.
4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea. Then I put half my money into NEO before all of the hype at around $12 and cashed out at $40. Then I invested in a couple ICO's and turned a pretty good profit of off the hype. After that, I got back in on NEO as soon as China announced the regulations regarding ICO's and rode the wave back from around $20 to $40 (I can't quite remember). Then, I rode the hype of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a few other airdrop scams. Finally, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap and turned a 20x profit. I advise you to hold. по эфиру рынок вполне может опуститься до 150 долларов, где то так оцениваетсчя его себестоимость, но такого произойти не должно.

Попытаюсь более детально объяснить вопрос.
Ответ на данный вопрос должен дать понять, что будет с криптовалютами дальше, будут ли они расти, или же нет.
Что на данный момент мы имеем? С одной стороны, криптовалюты - это потенциальное платежное средство, с другой - это как какое-то специфическое "платежное средство" среди многочисленных блокчейн стартапов.
Необходимо ответить на эти самые 2 вопроса.
1. Могут ли криптовалюты, в том виде в котором они существуют, стать платежным средством?
2. Действительно ли блокчейн стартапам не обойтись без их альткоинов. Если - даже да, то могут ли эти блокчейн платформы развиваться и обойтись без роста капитализации их альткоинов?
Вот мои мысли на этот счет:
На счет первого. В том виде, в котором криптовалюты существуют сейчас, как глобальное платежное средство - они никуда не годятся. Как они вообще могут начать считаться надежной валютой, если в любой день, при любой ее капитализации, обладатели достаточного % этой валюты - могут ее обрушить/снизить. Собственно это уже и произошло. Рынок криптовалют обрушился с 830$ млрд - 280$ млрд. Но если посмотреть, как себя ведет большинство инвесторов, - всё бьют себя в грудь и кричат обратное - что такого быть не может, что это всё спекуляции и заговор, и что будет рост. А всё из-за того, что каждый просто хочет заработать. Я считаю, что криптовалюты, в том виде, в котором они есть, как глобальное пл. средство - никуда не годятся, и причина этого - волатильность. Хотелось бы на этот счет услышать конструктивную критику.
На счет второго. Сейчас есть 1500 - криптовалют. В основном все они идут, как часть самой блокчейн платформы. Понятное дело, что по большей части все эти альткоины понапридумывали сами разработчики этих самых блокчейн платформ, с целью - заработать денег. Вот теперь для меня главный вопрос, действительно ли большинству этих платформ нужны свои криптовалюты, или они могут обойтись и работать без них? В этом вопросе я не силен, и хотелось бы услышать ответ от людей разбирающихся в блокчейн. Но даже если нужны, есть еще один вопрос, - могут ли развиваться эти самые блокчейн стартапы без роста капитализации их альткоинов? Мне кажется, именно ответ на этот вопрос должен дать понять, есть ли будущее у криптовалют, и увидим ли мы новые рекорды рынка. Ведь с одной стороны, блокчейн технологию можно развить и внедрить не повышая саму капитализацию ее альткоина. Но если альткоин будет иметь какую-то действительно объективную ценность внутри этой блокчейн технологии (!), то тогда, в случае развития этого блокчейна - каждый будет хотеть иметь эти альткоины. В таком случае, альткоины перейдут в разряд "АКЦИЙ", и эти акции будут теперь уже подкреплены действительно реальной ценностью. Но будет ли действительно объективная ценность альткоинов по отношению к их блокчейн платформам? Давайте разбираться.

Hello guys, so i've been wondering why some projects conduct airdrops, bounty, pre-sale, ICO and others might just go ahead and do probably only pre-sale and ICO. Do you think doing pre-sale, ICO, airdrop etc are part of the reasons to make a project succesful or do you think when a project conduct and aidrop it makes the project looks unserious for you to invest in again? what do you all think?
I think that all this is an integral part of a successful project. I trust such projects. It is immediately evident that they are doing something to promote their product |
