81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever convince or encourage someone to invest in Bitcoin? on: November 01, 2017, 08:43:20 PM
Yes I did encouraged people especially my closed friends to invest in bitcoin but most of them are not interested becauase they dont have idea what is bitcoin ,how it works and no knowledge about bitcoin market. Some are encouraged and already invested in crypto and following this forum .

Most response I received to them are;

- I dont have time to study bitcoin
- I am doubtful to spend my money in bitcoin. I dont have trust!
- its a ponzi scheme
- its a scam

No matter what ,i'll respect their thoughts about bitcoin. Maybe there are reasons why they came up with that response to me. Its all misconception about bitcoin.

Nababawasan ang post ng isang account dahil sa mga kadahilan na to;

 -low quality post ,meaning off-topic
- not constructive ,

85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legitimate or illegal? on: October 31, 2017, 07:04:45 PM
Using bitcoin is not illegal in our country and the goverment didn't prohibited us to used this for payment to purchase things. But it makes illegal if someone used the bitcoin in such wrongly manner like for example;
- to do scam people by promising to them impossible return of inbestments with their liitle investment.
- to buy drugs using bitcoin
- to fund illegal activities like terrorism.
-intentionally  hiding your wealth tthrough bitcoin to avoid paying tax.

88  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: October 30, 2017, 05:56:14 PM
We can not deny the big country with good economy, it will make the society economy better too.
So they can follow the economic development and participate in transactions and investments in Bitcoin era.
How the people of small countries can participate in participation and benefit from it?
It would be very difficult to calculate the statistics of users of each country, but the comparison of Bitcoin ATM growth from this early 2017 report can be the initial reference of the statistics.
Perhaps by the end of this year, there will be more Bitcoin ATM growth across the board due to the growing interest in bitcoin this year.

Nice statistics, as I look into the graph most of them are belong in the 1st world country, I thinks its because they already have technology and people has the capacity to earn more than money that they need, unlike in the poor country they don't  have technology to support bitcoin the people is working for their survival and  instead of buying bitcoin, they choose to  a lot the money that they earn for their food.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what will you do if the bitcoin exchange rate is pennilished? on: October 30, 2017, 04:18:04 AM
The bitcoin exchange rate continues to increase and will surely continue to increase along with its reputation.
As a user how do you respond?
1. What do you fear if the bitcoin exchange rate goes down?
2. Do you continue to use bitcoins or vice versa?

1. My inly fear is when the our goverment will do a strong step to fully shutdown bitcoin in our country but I think in this time,its not possible because our goverment is starting to recognize the use of bitcoin.

2. When the bitcoin exchanges goes down , i will be more happy ,because it is oppurtunity for me to buy in low price. I will still use it and buy some to hold it and sell when the price spikes again into  all time high.

91  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mother in law asked me about something called bitcoil :) on: October 29, 2017, 09:48:09 PM
Well, I was giving a mother in law a ride to work and in car she asked me if I've ever herd of something called bitcoil? Bitcoil? No I haven't what is that? Well apperantly it was something she was watching on ElJezzera about digital currency and how people could buy that and how it all worked out... Ahhh you mean Bitcoin ? YES YES that's what it is... How can i buy some?

SO I guess bitcoin is here to stay folks Smiley

Because of the popularity and opportunity of higher profitability of bitcoin are reasons why people is attracted to buy or invest into the crypto currency. its better to study and understand what is bitcoin all about before investing to give a good advice for your mother in law.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Once again,localbitcoin loots on: October 29, 2017, 02:24:15 PM
Hi, Today i sent 0.01 BTC from my electrum wallet to my localbitcoins account.I was shocked to see that i have been charged an incoming fee of  0.00048174 BTC for just 0.01 BTC.

Almost $2.80.

Do you feel that its a fair fee that too for an incoming transaction?

That's Ridiculous.

This is not surprise for me cause I already experienced worst than that. last week I was about to send 0.0015 btc to invest in one of the mining site using my local bitcoin accounts, then I was upset because when I saw the processing fee amounting of  almost $ 11 to be added on top of  0.005 btc, then due to the disappointment I canceled the transaction. its very unfair if the processing fee is huge for a little amount of bitcoin we are sending.
93  Other / Off-topic / Re: 1 Year Anniversary @bitcointalk, $600+ to $6000+ on: October 29, 2017, 09:58:06 AM
I just like to post my 1 year anniversary in Bitcointalk.org and share my experience after a year.

As far as I remember I first discovered Bitcoin because I did some online task in a website that is paying a very small amount of $ and I am earning a small amount of cents on it back then and one day they announced that they are thinking to pay the workers with Bitcoin if a large portion of us agrees to it as a payment in the future payouts and that is the day that I got curious in what is Bitcoin all about.

At first I am so innocent in what is this digital online currency is all about and I am shocked to its value back then, it was $635 per 1 Bitcoin when I saw it. And I searched it over and over again until I understand what it is and how to use it as a currency and guess what it was very hard to understand it because most of the terms that is being use is not familiar with my vocabulary like cryptocurrency, cryptography, Bitcoin address, Bitcoin wallet, etc.

I got so interested with Bitcoin since I knew it and until now I still have a lot to learn about it and every single day of my life is almost into it. The value of it now while I am typing this is $5,738.06 and it already break $6,100 price last week, Bitcoin is always make me interested day by day because of its price and the growth of it in just a short period of time as everything can really happens in an instant.

Feel free to share your Bitcoin experience here at my thread if you want.

I would surely write again a post just like this with my 2nd year anniversary next year  Wink

Really man !!that an amazing journey with bitcoin, for sure you already experienced those ups and down in bitcoin  happend during that time. The price growth of bitcoin has a very huge difference compared the bitcoin price last year. I would like to cingratulate you for your patience and I would love to read your 2nd year anniversary post. Keep it up man !
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalizing Bitcoin on: October 28, 2017, 07:43:49 PM
So in the most countries, bitcoin is neither declared legal or illegal. In some it is declared illegal and some are actually allowing it and also promoting their own alts.
So what would a government needs to do to regulate bitcoin in the country? And how can a government actually benefit from legalizing bitcoin in the country? How can it actually support the economic system of the country.

1. In order to regulate the bitcoin, They need to pass a law which specifically to serve as a guide for the people regarding what is the do's and don't s.

2. after legalizing the bitcoin , the government will have the authority to monitor any transactions and they can able to determine and nabbed the person behind the suspicious or illegal transaction aim to fund terrorism activity. aside from that the government will be benefit also in putting tax on every bitcoin transactions which is very in-favor for the possible economic growth of a country.

What can you do with Bitcoins but can't do with Dollars?

For me the possibility of profit when you invest in bitcoin is more higher compared the investment using dollars.

97  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: October 28, 2017, 06:51:05 AM
Summer 2012. Diablo 3. I bought in game gold with bitcoin @ $3/btc - Spent 90 coins for 500 million in game gold.

IGG = 35 cents / million now.

I lose.

/wrist

Worst decision that  I made in my life is believing and investing into scam bitcoin doubler site . I  trusted the site not knowing the it was listed into the  scam list. That is learning for me which basically teach me to do checking and validation of the investment site  legitimacy before investing.
98  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: how to convince people about bitcoin on: October 28, 2017, 05:05:32 AM

There are so many ways how to convince them. Mga tao ngaun to see is what you get . Para maniwala sila kaylangan ng ebidensya. Kaya pag nakita na nila na may pay out kana sa pagsali mo dito sa forum dun palang sila maniniwala..
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Biggest decisions you ever made for bitcoin? on: October 28, 2017, 04:49:28 AM

100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you value Bitcoin ? on: October 28, 2017, 03:51:07 AM
I think that the most common way to value Bitcoin is like valuing other currency by another currency.
Seeing to it that we all know all the factors that causes or affects supply and demand equilibrium.
Also the time we hold bitcoins. Time is very important factor.
I value bitcoin in way of giving so much importance and time than to the other crypto currency. Bitcoin is my fisrt choice thats why i am closely monitoring price value due to my current investments. I believe that bitcoin future is very bright and the only crypto currency that offers a future prosperity because of continous success in terms of price value.
