Italy deserves this, throughout the tournament, Italy has not lost a game. It's Italy all the way, as we've seen how good they are. It's going to Rome then, isn't it?
Where is the cup going today, no one knows. Where it will remain in the host city or the Italy will take it with them to Rome. England would really don't want to miss their first ever win while Italy are looking strong enough. As expected we had an exciting game where both teams put a lot of energy on the offensive position trying to leave the cup with a positive impression from the public. Despite Peru loss, I think the team didn't finish too badly. They fought bravely and showed a legit desire to win the game, even knowing Colombia was visibly the favorite since the beginning.
For the next 4 years Peru will have enough time to improve their skills for the next cup, when they can finally come back stronger than before. I see potential on them for it.
Peru was the winner of Copa America in 1975 and since then this is one of their best performance. They have played well and managed to get 4th place in the Copa America. Lets see how they take this achievement and improve themselves for the next copa america. |

A lot of things have been said about the penalty yesterday, I have to agree with the most saying it wasn't one. I looked at it again a few times this morning, the contact is there but it is minimal.
The referee gave it immediately and I knew that VAR would not overturn it but it was a mistake not telling him he needs to see for himself.
England was much better and deserved to go through to the final though - but it will be hard to take for the Danes.
Forget about the plenty for a moment. If you were referee and you had to decided the result of the match based upon the performance in the 90 mins by both teams, whom will you declarer the winner ? For me, England played far better than Denmark and rightly deserve the win. |

Can't wait for the eng-den game. Think I'm going to throw a punt on Denmark to win. Would love to see them go into the finals against Italy would be a fun game to watch.
LOL.. it amazes me that there still exists people who even think that there is a possibility of Danish win. Odds look very attractive for Denmark, and actually in such cases I would have made a bet in favor of them. But I can't see even a 1% chance for such an outcome. There would have been still a chance, if the match was taking place at some stadium other than The Wembley. And trust me, odds are not high enough to take such a huge risk. The sportsbooks I have checked have given +450 for Denmark. Simply not enough. You are right, only a "crazy" bettor (and I'm not among them today lol) will go for the win of the Danish team, especially on Webley. We have witnessed though unexpected results, so if you get such an odd like +450, I will say to put some dust there. Just for "fun"... Although Spain is failed to reach the Final, but I can say that their performance against Italy is their best performance in this tournament. I did not expect that they can play that well till the extra time. I predicted that Italy will win the game in normal time but I was wrong, perhaps I was underestimating the young squad of Spain. Too bad, the one who scored in normal time (Morata) was failed to do his task well in penalty shoot out. Both team deserves to be in Final but of course only one to go further. Thumbs up for both teams.
Yes, last night's Spain performance was completely different from their previous performances. They seem more cohesive with more dominant ball possession. But Italy was able to overcome them even though they had to go through a penalty shootout. Morata will surely regret last night's failure. Spain has performed exceptionally well. I would say Spain has played better than Italy. But their misfortune. Experienced players like Morata missed penalties. However, Spain's goalkeeper Unai Simon has fascinated me. He has saved the team from many attacks by Italian players. When it comes to the penalties in football, then its anyone game. Italy were lucky to advance forward to the finals. Although we cannot take credit away from Spain as they played splendidly well. So now which team you wana see in the finals . Should it be Italy Vs Denmark or Italy vs England ? Indeed, Argentina took the lead in the beginning but unfortunately, Colombia had a stronger and tougher game with high spirits that it looks like Colombia has the ability to qualify for the final. I personally bet for Argentina, but if the game continues like this I believe Argentina will lose and my prediction at the beginning seemed to come true about Messi always failing for Argentina. The game isn't over yet, I still hope Argentina can win the game even though it's like something difficult at the moment because Colombia are playing well.
Argentina managed to win on penalties Wahooooooo, what a match it was for Argentina. They had so many shots on goal and so many chances were missed because Colombia goalkeeper saved many sure shot goals. Now, i can't wait to see my dream final between Argentina and Brazil. |

But in fact Italy almost lost against Austria and also, Spain had the same pressure against Switzerland but for other games I think both are equally good. This match was supposed to be a final but yes, they are in a semi-final which I think both have equal chances of winning the match. But if I look at every player there is at least Italy is the best but about their coach, both of them have a lot of tactics and strategies which of course can be a surprise in the game. To tell you truth, it is difficult to predict who will win this semi final. Both teams are good and whoever can score early would probably will have more chances of winning. I am betting on Italy in this match not because i think they are superior team but only because i love Italian players more than the Spanish ones. |
