I think electroneum's mobile mining app doesn't even use its processor, it just gives the mobile user an airdrop of coins.
Has any cpu coin successfully made a mobile miner?

Im a little confused what is everyone using for a wallet to mine I want to switch my miners to ETN
Yeah the github releases. I used this guide to sync and create the wallet: https://medium.com/@xikimay_33996/how-to-create-an-electroneum-wallet-and-how-to-use-it-b00b787d5bd7But I did it first on a mac and ALL MAC ELECTRONEUM WALLETS show a ZERO BALANCE. You can mine to your wallet but it never shows a balance on a mac. So I restored it on my windows machine and the balance now shows correctly, and i'm mining a cpu coin on that pc as well.

There are 3.77 billion internet users but only 1.22 million yenten coins in existance right now.
One Yenten coin can be mined for about 85 sat i think, but still trading a bit higher.

Has anyone had luck using the electroneum linux wallet to actually see their balance? I've confirmed the blockchain transactions but for whatever reason can't see anything in the linux wallet. The blockchain is synched and everything.
So uh... doesn't anyone else think this is a big problem? The wallet that is used for transactions can't actually see the transaction on the network? This is the latest daemon/wallet from github for electroneum. Yeah ditto. balance zero. Maybe if I keep mining I'll dig up a fix to the problem.

I'm still interested in the power consumption of this algo vs others. Does anyone have an idea how much power they use while mining??

Is it just me or is BitZeny really starting to pick up in terms of English speaking community activity? I have the feeling it is also partly thanks to the increasing attention that Yenten (YTN) is getting lately. People start with Yenten and find out that there is a mother of all cpu mining coins named Bitzeny it's true. i never heard of bitzeny until yenten, and i'm on this thread to figure out if i should mine bitzeny too. . .

Price dropped but network hash remains constant and just increased too. Virtually every other coin’s hashrate rises and falls with price but yenten’s hashrate is inelastic. 30 days in: 7 pools, one of which was already hacked and another crashed, 60+ discord users ( https://discord.gg/MW6aPzb), new users can still SOLO mine effectively with their office PC, and nodes are popping up all over the globe. I don’t think yenten is going anywhere.

looks good. I'll donate 300 YTN to your cause if someone else matches.

EDIT: seller got back to me with two working codes thank you!

yes. we only need coinsmarkets exchange to get onto coinmarketcap. Getting listed just requires market cap to be above a value, it doesnt matter where it is traded. I just mean that coinsmarket is listed on the approved exchanges of coinmarket cap, and so we don’t need different exchanges to meet their requirements we only need to reach the 10k threshold. At current price of 160 sat there would need to be over 6 million coins traded in a day to reach 10k trading volume, and there are actually only 1 million coins in existance. then also there’s the fact that this coin is a mining coin not a trading coin because even now adopters will be able to mine their first coins even without gpu rig or asic.

will there be a chance on adding this coin to bittrex or polo?
ohh c'mon . Why everyone wants bittrex and polo on the first day . If the coin grows and get enough attention from community, this will eventually listed on these exchanges. yes. we only need coinsmarkets exchange to get onto coinmarketcap.

Got all of the benchmarks CPU on a spreadsheet, see my sig and let me know if you have any questions or any other processors and hashrates!
I couldn’t open that link in my dropbox app. did you get it working? here’s a fresh discord invite: https://discord.gg/MW6aPzb

Exchanges are poor, but do the trick. Small volume, but still possible to trade. BTCBTCBTCNodes UP and running! Happy mining! yeah there is such small volume on exchange and very thin order book. Maybe this is for the best because, without the ability to profitably dump, big miners must hold their coins. And actually in that way this coin is actually creating an interesting dynamic the aws miners might not be able sustain high hashrates for many days or weeks and so difficulty may drop which will continue to encourage small, single CPU users. idk but somehow this coin's algo is working pretty well. if network hashrate reaches 1 MH/s, will we still be calling it a joke coin?

... How much total yenten was stolen?
And did it only effect the folks connected to the new node?
Thanks in advance for transparency.
Its hard to tell how much, I have not found the whole transaction, I have to check all historic transaction somehow. Anyway, this is less than a week of my "reward". It was a RPC connection to the node yes, someone brutforced the password, this is why it was slow yesterday (~15h to 22h) No, no more open connection to outside, no more node far from the master link, only local node, and stronger password. No more md5 sum password based on time (default password generated with yiimp). EDIT: I was all the time transparent to the community. Sounds like it was just your reward and I'm sorry about that, but I hope you keep working on it and users donate because your pool has really helped.

Operation MASS BAN on our Pool.
More and more security for the pool, and Yenten community. If you have any problem, let me know.

Will someone make some signatures?

In one of the pool I saw 526 Dreamers mining yenten and on the exchange someone just spent $500 for 20k coins. 2.5 cents per coin is more than signatum was a couple days ago, more than bitcoinz, more than trezar, and more than BITZENY. I haven't seen a sell wall stay in place for more than 36 hours. idk guys when will someone crater the price to 50 sat? i'm waiting for that 100k sell wall though that's the real test.

Dev should make an effort to be listed on CoinMarketCap. This is a very important step for Yenten.
oh brother. dev ahould make an effort? you should make an effort to know it takes a day of 10k trading volume to get listed on coincap. sig bounty sig bounty sig bounty and guys we need to get listed on a big exchange too so a bunch of speculators can pump and dump

What is happening with the price?
Amazon S3 miner is back (hashrate is up) and he has to sell the yenten to pay his bills so he tanks the price wien he mines. Amazon miners will bid for compute power and at a 80% discount offf reserved compute power. then they buy $200 of aws credit for $20 from the digital goods forum and can mine yenten for about 30-50 sat i believe, and that price will increase if difficulty rises. any idea hows this Amazon S3 guy mining ? Yenten will be in moon in next 6 months I suppose. Spread the awareness. I set up 240 CPU instances on AWS to try it out for a few days and I got about 20kh/s hashrate, and i'm happy to show anyone else how to do it because I think these guys need the competition. Thats nice. May I know how to do that setup? second : howmuch it cost to setup like you done? setting it up is practically free because you can use the free introduction instance to setup your mining instance and disk image. If you want to run any amount of CPUs it costs about $.012 per hour using the spot request. The PokemonGoArena guy on Digital Goods was selling a $50 aws credit for $5 which should give you about 1500 YTN which comes out to 1 YTN = 40 satoshi. But you can only use certain aws credit "events" once or twice on a single account, so it looks like the more you do this the more it will cost. The BackToCali guy is selling $100 credits for $25, which comes out to 1 ytn = 100 sat. although I think he will discount those codes in a couple days because they aren't selling. EDIT: i had some hiccups with the PokemonGoArena seller. Nothing major, but i would recommend the BackToCali seller.
