To be honest, if you know the things, you can't really blame the employee employed in the service business aka tipped employees. It was mainly because how US states allow minimum hourly wages for that service is very low. Heck, as low as $2.63 in Arkansas. This puts the employer aka business owner takes full use of it, by putting the burden to pay his employees on customers. This makes the price on the menu become a false advertisement and so confusing since your tip is actually MANDATORY at 20%. Lower than that, you're being seemed as stealing the people's hard earn money at the day. The owner gave no fucks.
