CoinHuntr.com and Hypernova.pw both seem very quality and steady. Just started mining with a new pool last night ltc123.net which is offering 10LTC rewards for the next 3 blocks. Pretty good reason to throw some hash over there for a while |

For the record, I used the bios mentioned in this quote, and my XFX 7970 DD performance went from a high of single thread 550 (I could never get >400 using 2 GPU threads) to 690 (690 using stock mem/cpu settings, but 2 GPU threads). This is the best thread ever, and I'll be sending some donations out for sure. Can't wait to tweak mem/cpu later tonight and break 700! Congrats! it is a good feeling isnt it? I ended up with 1100/1500, -g 2, -I 13 and TC 8192 even though it defaulted at 22400. Not much else is needed unless your running them in the case. If they are still in a case you may want try 1040thru1070/1475 so it does not get as hot. |

is Mt.gox really the only thing affecting the price of Litecoin at this time? Any other big news for the plan of LTC to bring it into the spotlight in case gox decides to never impliment?
Not the only thing, but the biggest thing. Lots of players in the BTC world still don't know very much about alternate cryptocurrencies. When Gox starts trading LTC, thousands, maybe millions, of people will see LTC as a legitimate "little brother" to BTC, and demand for LTC will go up. I hope my theory is correct; I'm positioning myself to take advantage of what I see is a coming jump in LTC. I think we all are positioning ourselves but at moments where I feel like gox is the only next big move for LTC things can look a little hopeless as hundreds of other new coins start to arise. I guess only time will tell. Thanks buddy! |

That means that your wallet was on the wrong chain. There is no way to get it back without mining.
Then what would be the best way of getting rid of the unconfirmed 11 Caps so I don't have to keep staring at the missing number of coins in my wallet? Will it eventually die or if I use that same wallet address for another pool will it just do a override? |

CGMiner Settings for HD7970 GIGABYTE GV-R797OC-3GD - F80 BIOS
I've just bought 2 x GIGABYTE GV-R797OC-3GD cards and they have come with F80 bios.
Has anyone got a decent hash rate out of these cards?

CGMiner 3.3.1
GPU-Z reports the bios of the new cards as 015.034.000.002
My existing GIGABYTE GV-R797OC-3GD cards have an F71 bios - GPU-Z reports bios as 015.025.000.007
My existing cards run at 720kh/s at 1043 GPU and 1500 Mem.
Any clues as to the best settings for the new GIGABYTE GV-R797OC-3GD - F80 BIOS cards?
I cant get more than 550/600 kh/s out of them and the same 1043 and 1500 clearly does not work.
All my cards are Rev 2.1
Can I flash the F71 bios onto an F80 card? Gigabyte suggest only the same series can be flashed i.e. F70 to F79 can be flashed. F80 would have to be flashed with a bios between F80 and F89.
Have they changed memory supplier or something?

Just make sure you do at least a few backup copies of your working BIOS. From my understanding if you flash with wrong bios you can just re-flash it back but will need to have the saved copy to do so. |

updated and now cannot connect in qt and lost my 8 and something GAScoins as well as mined for many hours past 7am today but yet funds stopped moving into wallet from the pool..hmmm
