81  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia as the cornerstone of the world economy on: April 10, 2022, 04:17:32 PM
Am sure the Russians know what they’re doing and where this war will definitely lead to. They’re showcasing their strength as a nation to other nations that will dare to threaten their existence with mere political rights and democratic rule as a whole. Sooner or later the world will find out the meaning of the war and its true intentions.
I agree with your opinion. Of course, Russia understood all the consequences of this war. I think the Russian government made this decision due to the lack of other options, if the economic threat did not stop it. Russia can influence the world price of oil, gas and, of course, wheat. I think these figures will increase in price around the world.

83  Economy / Economics / Re: Could russia be the 1st to embrace a petro BTC on: March 26, 2022, 02:29:08 PM
It really could be. Russia is trying to get away from paying for gas for dollars as much as possible. I think these are extreme measures that Russia will take. It is more likely that the payment will be in rubles, because then Russia will strengthen its ruble. Of course, if bitcoin becomes a currency for paying for gas and oil, then this will greatly increase the rate of bitcoin, I'm really looking forward to it!
84  Economy / Economics / Re: US warns India over oil deal with Russia on: March 26, 2022, 08:48:00 AM
The bad thing about the US government is that they really want to control other countries and if it is related to the opposing country then warnings and even severe sanctions will be given to the country they feel is under their control, now they are trying it on india.  Russia-Ukraine war should not affect global trade, because many other countries need each other, especially oil.
I do not understand the actions of the United States from the logical side. They want to completely abandon all energy raw materials and force the rest of the world to do it. This is a very strong blow to the economies of these countries, for many it is a death sentence. I don’t understand why Biden dictates such conditions to the whole of Europe?
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Australian banned exports of alumina on: March 25, 2022, 08:22:31 PM
These actions will not hit the Russian economy much. I think that now it is important to pay all attention to the essentials. Of course, the price of aluminum will rise, because one of the many supply options will disappear, but this is not scary. Against the background of other sanctions, this news does not seem so terrible.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia considers accepting Bitcoin for oil and gas on: March 25, 2022, 07:34:01 PM
I think this does not mean that Russia wants to introduce the cryptocurrency sphere into its economy, most likely it means that Russia wants to get away from the dollar dependence on paying for natural resources. Recently, the news came that gas will be sold for rubles, but even better for cryptocurrency.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: I heard a rumor that OPEC will go 300 USD / barrel this year on: March 24, 2022, 09:23:49 AM
I try to search for you on that but no result I could get for that. The price of crude oil per barrel today still standing for $114 and between that. The rumour can be with the Ukraine and Russia war because for a month that it started, there has been a steady price increase of crude oil from $89 to above $100 and this is affecting the economy of more countries than those in the war.
I think this option is possible. Certainly not 300 dollars, but 200-250 quite. If the European Union refuses Russian oil, the price may rise. But this action will hit Europe very hard and it will be forced to lift sanctions on the fuel industry. I think Europe does not dare to take these actions, it is pointless. When compared with the situation in the gas industry in Europe. I think it will be the same with oil.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: What if Russia economy grows higher after the war on: March 24, 2022, 09:09:55 AM
I think this will not give Russia anything, only new problems. Why take a country with a post-war crisis of even greater proportions. I think Russia will strengthen its economy with the recent news that its natural resources are being sold exclusively for rubles. This will really benefit Russia, and import substitution will also help due to the departure of many companies from Russia.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Putin is trying to coerce firms into doing business or else... on: March 24, 2022, 02:18:53 AM
Putin seems to recognize nothing more than brute force. But in business, such tactics are always doomed to failure. If the business and property of foreign firms are taken away in Russia, they will go to international courts and all over the world there will be confiscation of property belonging to the Russian Federation in order to compensate for the losses caused. Russia will be completely cut off from the whole world. Considering that this is not a high-tech country, its economy will be thrown back many decades. All this is stupid on the part of Putin, like all his recent actions regarding Ukraine. A terminally ill old man with enormous power just went crazy, but ordinary citizens of Russia will pay for this for a long time to come.
Nationalization is very bad. I don't remember a single example where it had any success. Having stolen technologies and equipment, success will last until the breakdown of this equipment, because no one will bring spare parts. In the future, many companies will not want to go to this country. And all high-quality European products will be forced to be replaced by Chinese waste products. It is unfortunate that ordinary citizens will suffer greatly from this.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia to make bitcoin a currency on: March 24, 2022, 02:05:03 AM
I agree with you that the economy has suffered greatly, but this is not immediately visible. Now many cycles with many things and essential products have not yet passed. It is very sad to say this, but Russian citizens will suffer greatly, even though they do not understand it now. Russian stores were banned from raising prices for goods, but this cannot be avoided.
I do not believe in bitcoin as the second currency of Russia.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto users in Africa grew by 2,500% in 2021: Report on: March 22, 2022, 01:02:43 PM
I can easily accept such results. In all developing countries, where people are constantly looking for an additional way to earn money, the population is massively trying something. Bitcoin is the most popular way to increase your capital, therefore such growth figures. I myself am not from a developed country, so I can safely say that kritpa is practically the only area for earning additional funds.
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic crisis its good on: March 22, 2022, 12:51:52 PM
As things will become cheaper also good to create business as everybody will do cheaper work.
Central banks will hike rates no question it will create huge demand for money so lets not waste our money and use it to buy cheaper things.

Global things what u buying and selling will be more expensive.
Local things cheap cheap houses cheap local food cheap workers.

Real estate will get biggest hit in the world as all real estate is 80% bubble so 80% correction is asap as we all know this.
I do not agree with you. When did things and products become cheaper during a crisis? Due to ongoing events, the crisis will not only affect Russia and Ukraine, but will visit every country in the whole world. Russia is part of the world economy, this will make itself felt. Many have already figured this out by fuel prices. Further there will be an increase in inflation and a rise in the price of all products, things and services.
It is strange to hear statements that the crisis is good. I have already felt on myself from these events, the pocket has become a little empty.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: March 20, 2022, 04:19:53 PM
With the Russian invasion of Ukraine, almost all sectors & big businesses in Russia have been hit with huge Sanctions against them both from the United States, the United Kingdom and other internationally related bodies. Sanctions have hit the Russian central bank, other small russian banks, big business and companies in Russia from airlines to manufacturing have been affected as well and many assets private and government owned has been frozen.

-Do you think Russia can survive, and how can they survive the harsh economic realities that they are about to experience? Are the sanctions sufficient to push Putin into a decision to stop the invasion?
I think these sanctions would have been introduced sooner or later, it was a matter of time. Any reason would lead to sanctions, they would just not be so massive. I think Russia will withstand such sanctions, but it will be very painful, and ordinary people will suffer first of all. And most likely there will be new sanctions, this cannot be avoided.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Ukraine has legalized the cryptosector on: March 20, 2022, 01:39:53 PM
Ukraine has legalized crypto, but not as a legal tender, but as a free-to-trade asset. In the midst of the onslaught of Russia, the Ukrainian president has legalized bitcoin, but I don't know what is the purpose of Ukraine legalizing bitcoin in their country, what do you think is the purpose of Ukraine legalizing bitcoin in their country,??
I think there are several possible reasons for this. 2 most plausible. Firstly, this is done in order to make the cryptocurrency legal to donate to the country. By this they draw attention to themselves, make it clear that they are ready to accept help in this case. Secondly, most likely they released a previously planned project that they had been developing before, just coincided with these events. I have long heard that Ukraine wants to legalize cryptocurrency.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: China's strategy on the Ukraine invasion war on: March 20, 2022, 11:05:43 AM
China is the only neutral party for now, and this places it in a leadership position in seeking a solution to the conflict. China must rise to this leadership opportunity and Russia and the NATO allies must embrace China's leadership as the only solution to end this conflict that has the potential to consume the entire European continent and the west
I don't quite agree with you. China is more inclined towards Russia, it understands that during the sanctions and isolation of the entire developed world from Russia, it is in an advantageous position. Russia will trade mainly with China. All brands and companies that leave Russia will change to Chinese ones. China understands all this, so now it is no longer so neutral.
I do not believe in pity and help to Russia, only economic benefits to China, nothing more.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic effects after Russia blocks Facebook, Twitter, etc.! on: March 20, 2022, 06:31:26 AM
China blocks facebook, twitter and other social media networks. And only allows their citizen to look at state controlled media. But as far as I know people can still use facebook and other social media platforms using VPN. So the Russian citizens I am sure are doing the same. Using a VPN to access facebook and the media. So they still can communicate with their "loved ones". As for sending money/remittance, they can use bitcoin. Would take only few seconds.
Yes, indeed now the Russian people are helping VPNs a lot, but if everyone uses it, sooner or later they will understand this and take up VPN services, it will be difficult, but not impossible, to ban them. The biggest blow to ordinary citizens was the Instagram ban, it was the most popular network among citizens, now small businesses have come under distribution, because they took their main customers from Instagram. The next blow will be blocking YouTube, this will greatly affect Russia, because normal analogues simply do not exist. Normal unhindered access will be lost, people will be forced to use VPNs, no one knows how long this will last. It is unfortunate that only small businesses and ordinary citizens suffer from this.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia's Stock Market Amidst War Against Ukraine on: March 20, 2022, 06:08:02 AM
Almost all of them are experiencing very bad down because of this war.
We know how the stock keeps dropping from the first day of the war and I think that it will keep dropping. Do they not concern with this situation? Do they not care anymore about the economy and financial systems of the country?
There are so many political interests in this war and I personally still cannot determine who is right and who is wrong. But, one that I always note, war is very bad, it will only give losses in everything for both.
I think that the government is now not very worried about the situation in the stock market. Now they need to debug all broken delivery routes. Of course, the economy is in a terrible state, we can see this in the state of the ruble, which has lost a lot in relation to the dollar. I think it will last until the end of the operation, and maybe longer.
I agree with you that war is bad. But if it started, then there are reasons that we are not given to know. We can only wait and watch everything that happens.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries where you have biggest changes to become rich from zero on: March 20, 2022, 05:42:44 AM
Of course, first of all, these are developing countries. It is easier to do a successful business in a developing country. In Russia, for example, it is easier to make a successful business than in the USA. Of course, it is worth doing business in a country that you know very well. Mentality, needs, requests that you understand well. And in general, you can make a successful business in your country, the main thing is to find your niche, this is the key to success in any business! If you don't have a really unique idea, then no country can help you.

Of course, the Russian government provided for these sanctions because they received them both in 2008 and in 2014, but then these sanctions were not so large-scale, so now there is such a problem with the economy.  Honestly, I did not expect such actions from the whole world, everything turned out to be very large-scale. I think Russia will withstand this blow, but everything will not be the same as before.  Much will change within the country. All the negative consequences will fall on ordinary people, and I'm not happy about this.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation hits USA on: March 18, 2022, 11:54:59 AM
Inflation has been high before, but many did not notice this. Now, in connection with recent events, it is no longer possible to hide such a large inflation. The only right decision is to store savings in different places. I personally chose for myself bitcoin and a few altcoins, as well as several fiat currencies.
I think if the situation does not continue to move for the better, then inflation will rise.
