81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how can i search good airdrops?? on: January 27, 2018, 10:28:49 PM
To search for good airdrops you need to do a bit of investigation and be armed and you can begin to review the sources for searching airdrops. There are many websites devoted to this topic, However, sites, as a rule, are not as quick as other sources and not all of them possess operational information. You could also track topics on bitcointalk. Adding to it you can simply find the sites that monitor it, for example, you can save this in the bookmarks this hubcoin.io/coins/unredacted/, where every day you can type in the search field the word airdrop , you will see everything new yourself. However, as you must be aware of airdrops are presently less profitable, The problem is that many newly airdrops are delivering tokens that are not succeeding on the market. The only good thing is that you are free to join any airdrop you want. No one can be certain if the airdrop will be good or bad If they had a white paper read it, and understand their project and the future development til the finalization of the coin is met. Otherwise, if the developer has provided a white paper read it, and understand their project and the future development
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: shopping with BTC on: January 26, 2018, 02:07:59 AM
The way I understand about shopping with Bitcoin is, you could use one or more of the following possible ways that I have used in my short experience with BTC. However, each method has its own advantages and disadvantages which I will try to make clear, but you should also do your own research to choose the method which suits you the best. 1. Pay on Amazon and Other Sites: You can get some really great discounts from some of the world’s top internet retailers using this method. However, it can take a lot longer to complete a purchase than it normally would. 2. Bitcoin Debit Cards: You could also fund a debit card from your BTC wallet balance instead of your bank account. This is the easiest and most flexible method for spending your coins in physical stores around the world. However, there are fees to pay, and some services require you to convert your coins to the necessary fiat paid in advance. 3. Gift Cards: You could finally purchase electronic or physical gift cards using BTC, then spend them or give them as gifts. However, according to my experience, the best is to pay on internet sites.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Participation? on: January 23, 2018, 11:05:36 PM
ICO is the abbreviation of Initial Coin Offering. These novel fundraising mechanisms have been using the latest blockchain technology and gaining a lot of attention over the world for the past few months. There are millions of people are participating in the ICOs. There are multiple ways to participate in ICO. You can invest, advertise ICOs campaign, get your free airdrop or something else that specific ICO has allowed. You could also Obtain Ether: In order to do this you’ll need one of the more popular cryptocurrencies. Most crowdsales these days have been running on top of the Ethereum network and so obtaining some ether is your best bet. Bitcoin and some other alt-coins may be accepted also depending on the ICO but you can’t go wrong with ether. Next, you need to move your Ether to a user controlled wallet. The next and final step is to send your cryptocurrency to the ICO address in order to receive the new token. However, be careful of “scams” ICOs which are plenty in the market.

85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What encourages you to invest in any altcoin? on: January 22, 2018, 11:13:23 PM
A venture in the new world of crypto-currency, or more precisely altcoins, gives you the vision of the following expectations to be met in the near future. This is based on the successful rise of the price graph to start with. These are immutable and exchangeable cryptographic token promise to become a hard and non-manipulatable money for the whole world. We see a future in which Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies will substitute Euro, Dollar and so on and create the first free and hard world currency. Well, holding an altcoin means to have a share in this venture. It’s like a security of a large ecosystem. Every developer team that is working on their altcoin system is promising something different that will change the world. The truth behind investment in any altcoin is the promising project that will fulfill my expectations and also the expectation for whole community who have given the trust into the hands of developers of that particular altcoin. Altcoins are changeable and they have the power to influence the market very fast. The Investor is the one that can give the opportunity for specific altcoin to rise and when it rises fulfillment is met. However, if you understand the potential of the alcoin market and if your belief in their vision of money, today might be the best day possible to start investing in it.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is BCH not King? on: January 22, 2018, 10:27:28 PM
There is not doubt that the new altcoin, BCH a new digital currency that just started its existence can “never” be placed on the throne pre-occupied by the very first “Bitcoin”. Just because of the cancellation of SegWit 2X, or just trying to pursuit the new payment method option, or just having a 8 MB block in the mempool to adjust blockchain size increase, one should not even dream about dethroning Bitcoin. You can co-exit but not be the king. BTC is prevailing for all these years and with that prevailing, it is making new standards every day. These standards are set in the forms of the approvals for BTC acceptance into transaction community that was not connected to decentralized payment before. Again, The Network Effect virtually underlies every product or service whose success depends on demand and adoption. recent developments mean that BTC is surely topping and with it comes the issue of network capacity through on-block scalability to accommodate new entrants keen on riding along the mega BTC bull train.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Cash replace Bitcoin?? on: January 22, 2018, 09:32:53 PM
Bitcoin is a blockchain legacy that began 8 years ago. Whereas, Bitcoin’s hard fork gave birth to Bitcoin Cash on August 1st, 2017. After the fork, Bitcoin holders got the same amount of BCC. This has given rise to more competition since BCC has been endowed with all the resources available with BTC. While BCC has the same base and security as Bitcoin, it more efficient and energy-saving. But Bitcoin loyals believe that Bitcoin’s core values are not as easy to replace. However, even though Bitcoin Cash is a better version of Bitcoin, but the market still remains in Bitcoin’s favor. This is obvious from Bitcoin’s value, which grew by 1000% this year and the market saw its highest value ever in the history of the young world of crypto-currency. Consumer behavior is largely influenced by brand and Bitcoin is more appealing brand than Bitcoin Cash. It has built up consumer trust within all these years, and it would be difficult for a new crypto currency to overtake this in a few months.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is draining the altcoins on: January 21, 2018, 11:44:54 PM
One of the main reasons for all the altcoins losing value now is that Bitcoin Cash is “Growing”. So everyone is selling the altcoins and buying in Bitcoin Cash. Hence, the statement is true for the moment! Altcoins are falling in the value and the market cap of all the altcoins is getting lower. Bitcoin is destroying coins that are not able to compete with it. People holding the altcoins are trading them for Bitcoin and that is pumping the Bitcoin price faster. Investors are turning to Bitcoin cause its popularity and security at the moment. Only those most patient will gain profit from the altcoins in their portfolio cause this is not the end for the altcoins only their steady phase before the growth. When something goes up it must come back down. So, when Bitcoin Cash will reach its peak and start falling we will see the altcoins gaining value.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: January 21, 2018, 10:53:58 PM
Initial Coin Offering (ICO) indicates to an unregulated means by which funds are raised for a new cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) venture. An Initial Coin Offering (ICO) is used by startups to bypass the rigorous and regulated capital-raising process required by venture capitalists or banks. However, investing in ICOs is a decision which each individual must decide alone. There are many ICOs and as the time passes by a base of the ICOs is growing. Developers are presenting many projects that can succeed in the end or fail. A good or bad investment is a relative term cause it is hard to evaluate which ICO will succeed in the ICO phase. People are hoping for the big breakthrough after the launch of the project and they are considering many ICOs in which they can invest in. Many ICOs are scams and because of that many investors are waiting for the replacement of tokens into coins to see the real price that can be shown after funds have been raised to push the project to the market. Personally speaking the answer is “no”, but on the contrary there are occasions when the answer is yes. As with all high-return investments, buying cryptocurrency is risky, and ICOs are riskier still. And as with all active investments in general, it is wise to never commit more money than you can afford to lose.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: January 21, 2018, 10:33:52 PM
Initial coin offerings have become the most used routes in fundraising campaigns towards building new technology based enterprises. Many entrepreneurs use this financial instrument to explore new channels of opportunities to maximize efficiency and effectively communicate their products and services to a global market without the constraints of legal prejudice or jurisdictive penalties. Nothing is guaranteed and the most successful project that the ICO is offering to the investors could fail. If you are doing advertising for the false ICO campaign you can lose your precious time that you could have used better. If you are the investor of the ICO you are risking if you are not very well informed and if you are searching for the profit without the investigation of the ICO project you want to invest in. The main risk here is the absence of regulatory oversight which exposes investors to risk. The ideology of many investors revolve around the presumption that investments are risky ventures, and there is no such thing as a “safe” investment especially when securities are not insured.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases? on: January 21, 2018, 10:21:45 PM
Conceptually Bitcoin is a “Capital Asset”. When a capital asset depreciates in value, it's called a “Capital Loss”. Again, until and unless you actually sell the Bitcoins, the loss is considered “unrealized”. Such a situation has happened a couple of times when stabilization of the crypto is cleaning the mess that is circulating in the market. In every case that Bitcoin has depreciated, it has not decreased so much and soon after lowering its price it had rapid growth after that. When next phase of decreasing will begin some will keep the BTC cause they learned that after every fall there comes the growth. But the best way to trade would be when BTC is in a growing phase. It’s like if you bought a bitcoin for $5000, and someone comes up to you and offers me $4500 for it, you haven't lost $500 unless you sell it to him. So, hold on to that bitcoin at that point in time.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum transaction delay: how long? on: January 21, 2018, 12:44:07 AM
The price of Ethereum has jumped very high in comparison to the last year and that wouldn’t be possible if the investors would not support this great coin with the powerfull capabilities of improvement. The apps name is the crypto kitties and it is very annoying for the big percent of the traders who are not interested in the gains through this app. There are also some other factors that are including the network capability of processing the transaction. Developers are working hard in improving the current state of the blockchain. There are still many things that Ethereum lacks off but in 2018 thing will change towards better. Hence, applications based on the Ethereum blockchain is slowing the progress of the transactions.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you think alt coin market will crash? on: January 20, 2018, 11:53:59 PM
The possibility of the alt coin market to crash will be possible once certain groups would have the power to systematically manipulate the functions to shut down the crypto industry. Hopefully, altcoin market should be able to prevail all the attacks and centralized influences because of the technology that each new altcoin has been implemented with. We are all bothered right now because of the drastic fall in the value of all the altcoins. The real problem is that some people are actually thinking that the global demise of the market is about to happen. However, that is just a temporary break. Soon, the market will start to recover and those that were patient enough will profit from their portfolio holdings.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are risks and benefits of starting a Coinbase account? on: January 20, 2018, 10:42:58 PM
Amongst the multitude of digital currency exchange sites, coinbase has been my first account in the world of crypto currency. The reason being the fact that it is time tested and an old company and has been proving its performance to multiple investors and crypto users all over the world from the moment it was originated. The benefits of having it includes the ability to buy or sell bitcoins quickly. A few others would be easy transfer of mainstream currency, buy or sell over different coinbase's exchange trading platform, like GDAX, the need to identify the account holder which is mandatory, easy and simple to use, automatic fee calculator, inbuilt graphs making it simple. Amongst the risks would be need of provide your ID that might create the risk of getting your account frozen for some time, a rare possibility of going bankrupt and close down and disappear which will not happen soon, limited control over your private keys etc.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins prices on: January 20, 2018, 08:50:44 PM
In the present market of virtual currency we have observed a lot of altcoins prices encountering fluctuations and variation on a regular basis. However, even if altcoin prices are varying, it is not always that we see a stable downward trend on the price graph. The growth of the Bitcoin prices are causing instability in the altcoin market and it is suppressing the price growth of the other altcoins. In a few extreme cases the altcoins are getting utterly destroyed. Many altcoins are struggling in the market and are awaiting the stabilization of the Bitcoin for them to move forward to their potential. Right now the market is trying their best to balance and stabilize every altcoin with unbalanced pricing. Consequently, we can predict with tolerable variance and keep our patience steady till the point price of maximum Altcoins rise shortly.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is a million dollars possible? on: January 20, 2018, 08:01:57 PM
The present society offers a highly dynamic and unpredictable market of crypto currency where nothing is impossible. However, technically the real way of achieving that kind of a value with the initial start of the coins, is to start the business at the very initial stage.  I would suggest that it would be even better if you can predict the rise of the current altcoin and obtain it when it is still in ICO phase as a token. To predict with absolute perfection is a very difficult choice. All the traders who invested at the very initial stage has to be very optimistic. They need to depend completely on the belief that the price of the coin to rise to that level as predicted. Most of them are being guided by the rise of Ethereum and are hoping that the coin they are holding will rise too. Finally, the success to reach the million dollar mark would be possible primarily if we are lucky to obtain the real coin from the very start and be able to deliver a prediction with minimum variation to the actual price.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: January 20, 2018, 06:43:12 PM
Every initiation of any business has multiple ups and downs in their performance graph. As such, I don’t think that you are the only one with disappointments. Almost every trader has experienced the same set of emotions. Similarly, altcoins had a slow but a very steady start and their value at that time were high in our eyes. The 15 dollars of Ethereum was a real breakthrough in those days. No one had expected that its price will skyrocket, considering the general trend of those days. Doing a bad trade can give you a harsh lesson. However, all the good learning that we can take out of the failure also stands as positives inspiration for the future. Some coins are worth keeping for the future, while others are meant for day to day trades that are dependent on the current market strategy. I have personally made the same mistake as that of yours. However, I learnt from my mistakes and hope to deal with the right choice of the right coin for better opportunity in the future.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: January 18, 2018, 03:37:28 AM
In my opinion in the present market trend, evolution of Altcoins are the future and we need that future with great ideology! Bitcoin is not the only one that is showing us what we have expected with regard to the concept of decentralization. Altcoins with great ideas can do much, probably even more than Bitcoin in the near future. However, there aren’t many new altcoins that are great. Most of them fail. But, there are few of them that have interesting concept based on their own blockchain technology that is conceptually unique. They are implementing their concepts and their system to others that are willing to embrace that technology.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH price going crazy on: January 18, 2018, 02:53:57 AM
In the new era of virtual currency Ethereum is an open-source, public, blockchain - based distributed computing platform featuring smart contract functionality. It has been reportedly the first successful coin that had the successfully launched the ICO and started the new trend of the other ICOs that are usually based on the ETH chains.
ETH has mostly been a stable. Most of the ICOs with the other coins are running through the Ethereum blockchain and that is causing investors to devote their trust to ETH. We have observed the evolution of new applications that are powered by the ETH chain and that is pushing ETH to enhance its value. Its price has been observed to be in the upward curve and expectedly will increase in the next year. It makes sense to buy it now since it is a better investment projected to gain profit at the yearend.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Money on: January 18, 2018, 02:32:01 AM
In our new world of crypto currency a venture into the avenue of Bounties can prove to be very rewarding if chosen properly. There have been too many situations where the people are entering the bounties without even reading the project report that is presented by the developers. However, there are numerous cases today where a lot of the advertised bounties are revealed as “scam”.
In out new virtual currency era there are innumerable bounties that are attracting the possible participants with believable promises. The stacking of the bounty stakes that made nice coins later was possible a couple years ago when Ethereum hit ICO campaign and when all similar altcoins followed its lead. It is indeed beyond doubt that one would be really rich today if one advertised the campaign for the developers of the 15 top altcoins and if stacked your coins on it. However, we need to be a little cautious and careful since it is not easy to realize which project is the right one to choose.
