this coin is just a poor clone of verge, and alot of pieces in the branch they cloned from were "development" and not an official release, which is why alot of you are having problems. (also, none of the privacy features from verge have been brought here, as far as i can tell.) if you notice, it's the same 5 algorithms as us, just less coins and 0 privacy features. https://github.com/vergecurrency/ or https://vergecurrency.comcome on over to a coin that has all this, and much much much much more. Windows QT Wallet Works, Electrum Wallet Works, Android Wallet Works, POW works, on multiple pools. What exactly is not working? Interesting, a legendary member is trying to spread FUD. Seems a little cheesey to do that based on nothing. Also, Shield has very good branding. The branding alone could make this a very decent coin. Furthermore, the number of coins available is high, but still very small in comparison to others. Just noticed the bug of 9 digit on coinmarketcap and reported, it looks like on coinsmarket xsh value is 1000 sat, but it's an error caused by the fuckin 9 digit on that exchange. Be careful!

Verge is far superior to Shield. Not from an investor's point of view. The max supply on Verge is too high! As a long term investor, Verge is far superior. As a short term trader, Shield will make massive gains, very quickly! The reason why Shield will run hard in the short term is because it is massively undervalued.
I'd say anything labeled as "massively undervalued" should be considered a long term hold wouldn't you say??Regardless, this the XSH ann so let's try to leave discussing other coins in their respective forums eh! A skyrocketing price over a few weeks is not long term. |

I believe Shield will ultimately surpass Verge in price, not just in the short term. One obvious reason for this is Shield's total supply is far less than Verge. Also, keep in mind that Shield is still young, which means it has plenty of room for growth. I have no doubt that Shield will improve over time, because it has a highly dedicated team and a strong community behind it. In my opinion, I think Shield offers a better value to a long term investor. But you are free to think whatever you want. Shield already has surpassed Verge in price. Verge is at 59 satoshi, and Shield is at 115 satoshi. So far, I have made much more money from Shield than I have from Verge. But having said that, I will once again restate some facts. Verge market cap is $88m. Shield market cap is $5.4m. Verge technology and features are miles ahead of Shield, but Shield is ridiculously cheap at present valuations in my opinion. |

what were the issues of xvg? can you explain please? just interestingIt was not a Verge Currency problem. Coinomi wallet was hacked and some people lost all of their Verge Currency tokens. Naturally, Coinomi are trying to shift blame. |

Verge wallet as a mean of payment is UNUSABLE . I can not pay someone in XVG i must be able to see Amount is USD or GBP or ANY other FIAT currency and not just in XVG . How hard can it be to link a WALLET to the Exchanger or something ?? Not hard at all .. Like its done in BTC .
I want to know how many USD?GBP?EUR im sending .Cos I dont want to sit in front of the calculator for half an hour to make a calcilations - how mny XVG coins do i need to send for 50 $ .

It is sad to hear about the previous IPY but still my trust is within this project and hoping for its success. I know IPY will be back again and will be on the right path!

The entire coinpouch situation is quite a shame... I feel especially bad for sunerok, who seems to be catching alot of shit for a hack that (from the looks of it) was absolutely out of his control.
I have been around th XVG community for quite some time now, and i know first hand that sunerok has always encouraged everyone to stay away from "trusted 3rd parties" - in order to make coin storage more convenient, coinpouch users compromised their level of security... lame

It is evident from the massive pump and dump that recently took place that some people are doing some dirty things with this coin. Hopefully, these greedy pump and dumpers won't ruin it for all of us. I think this project has potential, but greed has a way of ruining a good thing.
I hope the developers will come up with some kind of incentive to motivate people to hold on to their coins.
There is nothing to worry about. This jumped in value because of the Android wallet was developed. Keep building out the features! Incease the utility and usability of the token. The value will be then reflected!👌 |

Have you guys noticed how this is trading on the various exchanges?
On coinsmarkets.com it is just solid buying and is trading at 41-43 satoshi.
On stocks.exchange there is bot selling small lots at 35 and 29 satoshi, spooking weak holders.
On tradesatoshi.com we got the same sort of selling.
It looks like manipulators driving the price down deliberately so that they can scoop up more at a lower price.
This is a very good indication in my opinion.👍
