Okay all payouts were sent today. I based the final payment on the following:
Two units sold at: 15 btc each. 30 BTC
7.64 BTC mined I just estimated cuz there's still some delayed mining left, so 7.64 is about right when you factor in the misc alt coins.
So total final payout was 37.64 BTC
Each share was worth .4705 BTC
Overall we had a total of 53.14 BTC which at current BTC price of $333 is equal to $17695
So each share got you back $221. Those that paid with paypal basically gained about %100.
I wish we had a chance to mine longer but due to difficulty rising so much, it didn't make sense to keep mining. Thanks to superresistant, we were fortunate enough to sell the two units above what we could have mined. I think both superresistant and I calculated that we would have been able to mine another 13 BTC total on each unit. But we sold it for 15 btc each so that's a win!
Thanks everyone for participating in the group buy. It was my first and I enjoyed it quite a bit, including all the wait time to get our units! We actually got it on time but who woulda expected BTC difficulties to go up so high! Right now, I wouldn't buy any new hardware as difficulty is too high to make a profit.

Update: We''ve successfully concluded our first sale. I will wait for our second sale to complete before dispersing all funds. The second unit should be cleared tomorrow evening.

What are u guys talking about. I just transferred BTC and XPM from mcx to btce without any issues. So you two seem to have an agenda. I was trying to move my funds BTC to another wallet from mcxNOW account. The message i get was:
Error sending transaction on network.
Your account however has been debited the amount requested.
Contact admin to get the transaction manually sent.
Has anyone else had same problems?
The account is now empty and the BTC are nowhere to be seen. I contacted them via email, but no response. I'm getting really nervous.

BitcoinExpress, if anyone's a scammer, you are the biggest one with your lies. Realsolid may be a jerk but he's kept up his side of the deal and his exchange is running smoothly. His feeShare idea was revolutionary and even other exchanges are taking note and trying to copy that idea. They won't succeed as their exchange does not have anywhere near the traffic McxNow does. Buy your shares now and profit! It's at extremely low prices now. Today's volume is already the triple of yesterday. Just like old times ( 2 weeks ago :p )

Great! More great coins! great stuff. more coins is pretty much the only thing mcxnow still needs, rest is already top notch imho.
especially a good initiative to start rebranding it to Peercoin instead of peepeecoin.
i would love to see mcxnow only add coins that somehow added some innovation... if i look at all the gutter filth at coinchoose only these few tingle my memories for doing something inherently new:
megacoin (bitcoin client code for scrypt coin, new difficulty adjustment algorithm)
anoncoin (tor stuff)
florin was the first that added transaction comments (I think!) but that function was quickly stolen / added as well by others
freicoin was the original demurrage coin I guess, but not sure if that should count.
just new algos, but again, not sure how innovative that actually is (i.e. primecoin is a nicer gimmick):
sifcoin (and not quark/secure/cthulucoin) used the mixed cpu algo first.
yacoin used scrypt-jane first
please correct me if you have some better knowledge for some of them. but if I am not mistaken all the other coins are more or less the same poop - some of them are just "better" than others because of the dev's ability (and motivation) to add new stuff, more services, better name, marketing, and fairer launches. But still rather boring.
At the moment I'm just looking at adding the most traded coins. I already have a pretty high policy in regards to what coins are accepted at mcxNOW. |

Great Analysis on the Feeshares. Prices on feeShares dropped recently on the BTCT boom. Now that BTC has settled down a bit. FeeShares are selling at a discount. Get in and get some now. I've started using mcxNOW lately as my preferred altcoin exchange. There has been much debate in its trollbox about the valuation of mcxFEEs (pseudo-shares in the exchange). You fucking trolls are useless. Why are you trying to scare people. Realsolid may be a top of the line arrogant ass but he has built a great exchange. He makes more money running a legitimate exchange than the claims you fuckers make of him being a crook. So far he hates my ass but atleast he leaves his personal feelings out of business.
So if people can deposit over 2500+ btc and other coins into the exchange. (davidpate) is an example.
Why would trollers like you keep bitching about him?
MCXNow Share fees allow for people to invest in BTC without mining. It's a great tool to use for investing.

I have invested in the exchange, i believe in this exchange, and i'm making money while sleeping & not even trading on this exchange.

Bob, Your offer is fair and we do appreciate it. It doesn't look like our group would be selling as it's below our selling point. Thanks I really dont think you guys understand the ebay fees. As a powerseller myself, if I sold each saturn for 4k, I would see just about 3300 after ebay and paypal fees. Not including shipping, having paypal place my account on hold, or anything else that comes with the hazards of selling BTC gear on ebay. My Corperate Paypal account, that does 100k+ year, was locked for 3 weeks (still holdin unto 10k of my money) for selling some singles. I have 300+ feedback, no chargebacks or anything.
The offer on the table is a nice clean break, and we offered to pay in BTC anyways.
Everyone please ignore his comment, he obviously want to get our hardware for very cheap. At least, if people on bitcointalk are so desperate to get a KNC miner that should comfort us in putting a high price. I have 10 jupiters either here, or en route. I am looking to pick up hard ware at a resonable price so that I can pass that on to by own GB owners. I made a fair offer, it is not nessisary to insult me or my intensions. |
