81  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Women in Crypto - Where are they and who are they? on: March 06, 2019, 01:02:21 PM
What would be the difference if there are woman in crypto?
Speaking of woman, I have noticed more female are involved in cryptocurrency lately, especially on twitter, telegram, and discord. They are talking about bitcoin and other stuff about cryptocurrency as if they know everything. The only difference is, are they really female? Or just pretending to be one? Received DM on telegram and talks about promoting a coin, would help a certain project on building momentum and other stuff, then with “I am a legit female”. Which I deleted immediately, I don’t think being a so-called legit female will help on promoting cryptocurrency. What are they going to do? Send nude pics for them to say they are legit or video call just to say they are legit.

However, female can bring some new ideas that might help cryptocurreny. Woman are complicated just like blockchain. They might help on cracking some cryptography issues that might be helpful in the future.

This topic might help in viewing what woman can bring to the table: Why We Need More Women Working in Blockchain

          • Blockchain needs women because diversity equals success. Women make businesses more successful at all levels. One study in 2016 found that women were 34% more successful at trading (in traditional markets) than men.

          • Blockchain needs women to provide stability. There is a general perception that women are less prone to engage in risky behaviour.

          • Blockchain needs women to help it develop the right way. Blockchain technology is truly disruptive, and like other disruptive technologies before it, it will eventually impact almost every conceivable industry. That includes industries and areas traditionally dominated by women.

          • Women need blockchain to keep their needs in mind. In a related point, women need to get involved in blockchain to ensure it is built for everyone’s needs.

          • Women need blockchain to get in on the ground floor. There aren’t many opportunities in this world for women to shape an industry from the beginning. With blockchain, that opportunity is available.

Can anyone show me what he had, just for the hell of it?  I'm curious to know how creepy it was.

          IMO, not that creepy.

          fixed my harley.

EDIT: Good Stuff about the above image from Fish 'n kids ordered as minnows star in new Okuma campaign:

Barnes, Catmur & Friends has just released a new Benjamin Button-esque billboard campaign for Okuma (it's Kiwi for fishing, don't you know). And it involves some pretty classic, quintessentially swarthy young/old seadogs. Ah, don't they grow up and get tattoos and have facial hair and start smoking pipes and reeling in those big ones so fast these days.

          That's a lit advertising.

Aside from IDs, you can ask for proof of billing (within 3months), much better if it is the exact credit card bill that the investor wants to use on your token sale. In addition, you may ask the investors if they are paying via a debit to account, if yes, please provide your bank statement together with your selfie (holding the proof of billing and/or bank statement, must be clear). You can also have some disclaimer stating that: In case of stolen credit card we are not accountable on any chargeback and/or any charge that may arise, you are responsible on what you have entered, check yes if you agree, or no if you don’t agree and f*ck off (only without the F.O word).

Don’t know about you guys, someone did PMed me to join a group of people wanting to oust DT1. I don’t want to join any group, I just want to have some chill chill way of reading and do whatever I want here. Some people are excited on testing Epochtalk (I’m one of them), and still at this juncture are some people talking about merit + DT1, you can try and test it here -> https://www.cryptos-currencies.com. Feel enthusiastic on new stuff. I know you want change, you’re not a shitposter (IMO), you can do better than these.

Feels like some people here are living in an era wherein they want change, but, they are not doing anything to change it and just do some activities that will hindrance that change they want. Managing forum is not easy; voice out what you think is right is enough, stop reverberating it – like a broken record.

I am not against OP or group of people - the situation.

Just asking this because it looks like it can be use to find plagiarism post?
It does. You can also find topics that will help you take advantage on using search feature. Sample is [How-to] the Search button.

Personally, I used https://edubirdie.com/plagiarism-checker and https://spinbot.com/ when checking plagiarism case(s), which is 100% good reports on my report history. Today, I have one pending plagiarism case who used text spinning.

          EDIT:
^ Plus, @Pmalek technique will also help you.

I may not know him or done any transactions, but, I have seen people who have been part of his journey here in bitcointalk and they made me appreciate the real Zepher, felt that he is one of a kind.

          Dear Zepher’s Mother,

You have raised one of a kind son, everything has its own purpose. We know how it hurts to loss someone, but then again, losing a son is more painful to a Mother. I know words can't do anything, prayers do. We will pray for his beautiful soul to rest in peace. Our Lord may need him in heaven to watch over your family and stop his struggle here.

          We love you.

          See you around, Zepher.

Never listen to anyone when joining any airdrop.

People can just say Good project in one ICO just to shill. Every adviser or the so-called famous youtube advisers have its own agenda. We can say lots of things on where to start and how to do it, it is always up to you. Some people may say I have earned on airdrops, while other will say I have been holding so many coins that didn’t even get to any exchanges.

Most coins now are just P2P payment (not all of course), but, we are 10 years since bitcoin was created. IMO, it is too late to come out with nothing more just P2P payment method. As if you can open DVD factory today and start to hype it as a super cool method of storing your videos, while there are already SSD drives, streaming, or even cloud storing.

It’s about responsibility, research is a must.

Kindly move this to Altcoin Discussion.

Knowing he is into signature campaign on 2014, have knowledge on bot and where to buy some (any kind of functions), it could be possible that he used a bot at some point.
          -snip-
This is not a bot to copy-paste/shitpost for signature campaign money. It's a bot that helps the managers tracking their participants and how many posts they made. Check the link he posted...
Yes, I know, I'm just stating that he knows where to find people that could have bots or know how to configure bots for him to use.
          98  Other / Meta / Re: New? on: February 24, 2019, 09:19:00 PM
I don't know if it's a bot, could be just lazy manual copy-pasta. redsn0w was a quite enthusiastic sig campaign participant at the time:

Maybe try to contact the support of coinsbank (ex bit-x).
Oh ok, you should contact marcotheminer I think he is "selling" a bot for the signature campaign. This is the thread :

100  Other / Meta / Re: Feature request: Show an "Add to Trust list"-button on each profile page on: February 24, 2019, 07:03:03 PM
Where some users haven't understant the system of adding someone on trust list. Having a button on each members profile can help them to add someone on their trust list easily IMO.
If they can’t understand it, why would they bother to use it? Would it be illogical if we have such button for everyone to just push/click it without even understanding what it’s purpose? Since they don’t know exactly what is it, they will just be founding on what the user is saying and just click that button – it would be a like button for them.

Instead of button, in the trust settings; when you click Update it will pop-up something like “You have selected/inputted with similar names, are you sure these are the real users you want to put in your trust list?”, then names of possible similar names will appear and people can just click the right person.

          EDIT:
It very well could wind up being misused/abused this way. In reality though the current system can/does get used this way, it's just a little more difficult to do.
Exactly, it might be the reason why it is designed that way, to make it a little more difficult for misused/abused.
