81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto ICO's are killing Bitcoin. on: October 20, 2018, 03:44:10 PM
I never understood why cryptotraders and exchanges support ICO's, my reasoning is this: An ICO gets funded, then they do what, they SELL the BTC they raised for fiat and push the price dive on BTC, thus taking all those BTC out of the trade environment, anyone thinking that an ICO would reinvest into the exchange is naive. This hurts everyone, even the exchanges. You might say "Well the exchanges get fee's on ico" well that is true, but they are losing all future potential fee's on those coins, if they had continued trade on the market.

So in Short - ICO's are killing Bitcoin and CryptoMarkets.

You are wrong ! Bitcoin price don't rely on ico price if any alt coins as bitcoins is independent and are use as major trading pairs of any altcoins. So what ever price ico altcoins may give this would not affect Bitcoin price in general.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: October 19, 2018, 02:32:32 AM
Patience is one of the keys to success in the crypto-currency world. Common sense, the ability to analyze and get the right information from the news, make personal predictions - all these things are also very important. But if you have all these skills, except patience, then I can confidently tell you that crypto-currency is not for you) So train first of all such skill as patience.
I agree many investors who have enough knowledge in crypto trading that failed to earn profit because they don't have patience to wait for proper time to sell or hold. Lot of investors want quick profit only which often failing to earn money because of unpredictable market condition.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks will always be against cryptocurrencies? on: October 19, 2018, 02:25:29 AM
I don't agree that banks may always against crypto currency as what we read in cyber news xrp block chain technology was already supported and used by European and middle East banks for their online payment or money transfer transaction. And with the massive growth and continues adoption of many countries, more and more banks may shift to block chain technology in afraid to be left behind with this revolutionary block chain technology.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest wisely on: October 18, 2018, 03:19:22 PM
It's getting ridiculous here. People are now investing just because of the hype or just from watching the scores given by Icobench, ICOratings etc.

You're doing it wrong. You should look at the team and the experience they have, whether this project exists already (e.g we have Monaco, TenX, Centra, MoxyOne and many others) and none of them actually delivered 100% what they promised etc. so unless you really see the potentials on the project, you really shouldn't invest. Ignore the moon bullshit they are trying to feed you.

This is valid for both bounty hunters (because they are wasting their time) and ICO participants (wasting money).
I agree you need to do you own study for what coins or ICO. You need to invest. Specially now that ICO. Seems losing  investors trust since most of 2018 ico have suffer huge loses when traded in the market.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can cryptocurrency succeed? on: October 17, 2018, 06:26:11 AM
yes of course cryptocurrency may succeed but not all of coins will do maybe 10-20% only those coin that have proven the community that they can delver quick and secure service online. and this are slowly happening now many altcoins are gaining support from bank and other companies to try their service. and XRP is one which have lot of bank and financial remittances supporters.
86  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy low sell high? on: October 17, 2018, 06:21:16 AM
So I have seen Coinbase is the main "source" for buying/selling BTC, but I was wondering if anyone has used the method of converting bitcoin to another currency when it reaches a high point, then converting it back to BTC when it is low enough.

If so, what wallet(s), exchanges, etc. are you using? And more specifically, what crypto do you recommend converting BTC to, in this situation?

Any help is appreciated!
sounds easy but if you are in real trading this really hard to execute which some time end up selling low buying high Sad.  for you other question  if you can convert btc to other altcoins and reconvert again if you saw you are already gaining profit. this is what we are Actually doing when we are trading in crypto currency we buy altcoins using btc and sold  again to btc if we realized profit.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IS RISK IN INVESTING IN CRYPTOCURRENCY on: October 16, 2018, 12:33:13 AM
i invest so much in cryptocurrency there is possible a risk? in investing in cryptocurrency, what is the main risk you encounter in investing in crypto
i hope an anyone give me an example a risk in investing in cryptocurrency,
There are so many risk in crypto currency and the most common is market volatility, prices are very unpredictable it can goes up in a minute and it can goes down hard in just a second. The security of your coins in exchange and even in private wallet is also at risk since hackers are roaming everywhere and trying to victimized investors.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong hands VS Weak hands, who will win? on: October 16, 2018, 12:25:53 AM
Of course strong hands will dominate the weak one. The weak hands usually panic and sold their coinstat when market is down sharply thinking for a cutloss to minimize loses. While strong hands are usually experienced trader who know how to get ride the market when uncertainty comes.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does participating from an airdrop got you big rewards? on: October 15, 2018, 05:07:29 AM
My friend introduce me about the airdrop campaign, it is good, but you can only have a small amount of alt coin for every airdrop, and the price equivalence of it in the market is just minimal. And in terms in participating on it, some airdrop is a time consuming. May I ask does participating on it gain big earnings?
Last year's airdrop was a profitable one compared now a days where ico coin only give limited amount of coins to those who join airdrop. It seems not profitable enough and that's the reason why I stop joining airdrop and focus only in bounty campaigns.
90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you're ~15% in the red, is it crazy to sell? on: October 15, 2018, 05:04:53 AM
Hey,
I didn't act on the recent crash,,, i had bought at about 230$ markets currently just above 200$
I know the right idea is likely to hold, as the market will go up eventually.. but i predict in the intermediate term it'll go down further.
I guess this is where the psychology of trading comes into play.. I'm in regret and want to sell at a 15% loss in order to have a chance of making the 15% back and then be able to continue trading as i was before the recent dip.

When you're 'marooned' with coins that are worth less than you bought them is the right idea; always to hold?
I just want to practise trading further... and have no spare capital to do so..

Every trader has his own trading strategy to follow if you think selling at -15% loss may be recoverable if you sell and buy again then just do so. But for  me I should prefer to hold and add a little bit more when market will fall deeply to lower may average buying price. It is not good to buy at high and sell at low since you are losing your investment but if you are a day trader then maybe selling and buying again would be an effective strategy.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How Far are we from the bull run on: October 14, 2018, 10:49:05 AM
Its been about 8 month since we are in bloodbath. market has not shown any signs of recovery till yet. what do you think that what december will bring to us.. ?

Every one is hoping since September that a reversal  may happen to crypto market but it fails us always instead of reversal  market continue to fall specially for altcoins which been affected to much.  As crypto market is very unpredictable bullish season will just surprise us one of this days. Just keep holding and add more if price may continue to fall.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Target Market of Bitcoin on: October 14, 2018, 10:37:47 AM
In my own opinion any individuals and companies who uses online transaction for payment are the target of Bitcoin market. There is no specific entities where Bitcoin focus it's market, Bitcoin are open to anyone who want to use it and that's make Bitcoin price increase if the demand are rapidly increases.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 is best year for cryptoholders on: October 13, 2018, 12:33:12 PM
I have invested in eventchain and power ledger. And hoping to invest in centra and wtc coins.. But i sell those in 2020..,

2020 good year for crypto holders? Most saying 2020 is the milestone for digital currencies

Tell the masters your comments

2017 was the remarkable year for  crypto currency and 2018 is the opposite one after the 9 months that past and hopefully 2019  will be another recovert year for crypto and I agree that 2020 would be a massive adoption of people and companies and how to maximize the benefit of crypto currency and block chain technology.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What problems cryptocurrency will face in the near future? on: October 13, 2018, 12:29:03 PM
Specifically in the next 5 years, what do you think will be the greatest challenge or problem that the crypto market will face, and how do you think the market will overcome this problem? I also wonder if AI can help crypto trading safer and free from hacking and scamming?
The top threats for crypto currency in my own opinion after 5 years maybe still the security of your coins in trading exchange to be safe from hacking and another is the most common problem we currently encounter scamming and price manipulation of small cap crypto coins.
95  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: October 12, 2018, 01:46:51 AM
mas okay ba na sa coins.ph mag out ng eth/btc or lugi pag ganun?

96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is struggling? on: October 12, 2018, 01:28:47 AM
I agree so many ETH investors lately are losing their money including me Sad as ETH price continue to fall even lower week on week now its under 200$ and there is no sign of reversal but if this continue to happen i'm planning to add more even i lost before i know price may bounce soon.
97  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think that the price is fully manipulated? on: October 12, 2018, 01:17:40 AM
In most of the cases market is manipulated specially those coins which have low market cap where whales and billionaires can easily ppump the price by pouring large volume of money. if you take a look at at some coins where gaining morethan 50% in a day there is no even good news but the price suddenly surge or vice versa
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing can stop Bitcoin! Big News! on: October 12, 2018, 12:57:04 AM
Lot of positive news are coming in cryptocurrency world and bitcoin to be specific but if you take a look at the bitcoin and major altcoin price  market is still red and lot are dumping their position to continuously make the price fall but im confident the end of this massive dump is near to an end and hopefully  crypto price may recover before this year end.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it bad for altcoin that BTC is dropping on: October 10, 2018, 11:39:43 AM
Bitcoin price is constantly dropping for the last several days. What effects are putting it on Altcoins ? Is it bad or good ?
Bitcoin price really affect altcoins price since it is the barrometer of the crypto currency, and what ever it's price going affect the altcoins also.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Finally Call This the DEATH of Bitcoin?!? on: October 10, 2018, 11:34:57 AM
How could you say it's over for BTC if more and more people are embracing it? Counties and companies are trying to adopt the benefit of block chain technology which he benefited to Bitcoin and altcoins in the long run. Just keep holding and your beliefs would be paid off.
