After the exchange integrations, the Merchant & Payment Gateway to accept eBitcoin, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and other top 50 altcoins has finally launched, marking a big turning point for eBitcoin! I've owned zcl for awhile now - pre bitcoin private. I find it amusing it's mooning now b/c of bitcoin private but happy it is. Can someone please enlighten me why btcp is better than XMR or ZEC, or any other zk-snark coin -- like bitcoinZ. Be objective.
bitcoinZ is equihash, I believe btcp will be sha256 with zk-snarks combining both in a way that is new. Maybe it's been done before and I just don't know it. Thanks. That's not much of a difference and I suppose it's preference. Yet, I wonder what will happen to ZCL come the snapshot. There are also too many forks off of BTC -- granted, this one seems to be getting a decent amount of coverage. We'll see if it gets dumped. I fully expect zclassic to be worthless after the hard fork, in fact, I'm planning on it. But that's just me, nobody ever knows for sure. HUSH went from mid teens to $2 after $btch fork. Now that was when everything was tanking earlier this month. A lot has to do with the tide but would not be surprised if it drops significantly post fork. |

The issue is not to be better than competitors or coins with similar settings, in fact, BTCP will be another legal alternative to send and receive payments anonymously and quickly, nothing more! Those who have BCash think they have a good coin, but comparing with BTCP is innocence, not to mention the fact that zk-snarks technology has not yet been exploited in its entirety. Perhaps, what stands out is that the BTCP community is highly empowered and passionate about the idea. This is nothing new or improved. Hopefully roadmap will develop more and exhibit more vision. I agree the community and dev team are key...mostly the dev team tbh. Just payments and privacy are table-stakes. |

Long time hodler and lurker here. Most of the dumpers have left. If there's any more dumping it's not going to happen at this level unless the entire cyrptoverse takes another nosedive. BTC had a phenomenal run and took the rest of the space with it. It's consolidation time. Be patient, not just with XVG but with the crypto asset class as a whole. Whatever you do don't fomo the 1000% gainers you're going to see every now and then on coinmarketcap.

I tried Ninja pickle's miner... unfortunately it didn't recognize the GPUs on the rig I was testing it on which has some AMDs. We actually have a new version coming out in the next few days which will support AMD gpus. Thanks...good to know. didn't try it on my nvidia rigs. |

Well, few days ago everything was fine, the wallet gui works perfect and i had 10k btcz, then i opened the wallet and the famous error apear, A general unexpected critical error has occured: error : couldn´t connect to server: EOF reached (code 1) (make sure server is running and you are connecting to the correct RPC port). The solution in other thread was to erase all the archives except for the wallet.dat, didn´t work, same error. I also tried to open de wallet.dat archive in another pc, same error, well i think i am going out of this project, i lost time and energy spend mining this altcoin. If someone have another solution please let me know.
Ok then if you're giving up send me your wallet.dat file :-) Seriously, if you're running windows try this: 1) Go to your bitcoinz wallet directory from command prompt 2) run "zcashd -reindex" Let it sync. 3) Download the Android wallet 4) Create address and send your btcz to the adroid wallet and continue to mine to it |
