9 sats Cheesy
I think it's the smallest one in the history of free-rolling! Congrats to everyone for ATH and those who bought lottery tickets before the pump  Wink
You still have 9 sats? I'm guessing you have spent some time on the Multiply BTC feature then or betting  Grin
Mine is currently at 6 sats and has been between 7-8 the last month. Other people's lowest faucet reward could possibly be even lower than that. But I'm not complaining. It's still free lol

Is there any other way to get your coin for a passive income (Dividends) instead of playing? I mean like buying it on exchange or it was not yet listed on any exchange? Well for what I've seen your website has the highest dividends for a short time.
There's currently no other way from what I know. But I see on the website that there are plans for listing BFG to exchanges in the future. For now, you will have to get them by playing, which is not that difficult since they also have a faucet. So, if you don't want to make a deposit, get satoshis from the faucet and play. Very easy  Cool

We do like BetFury as well. A license would help but at the moment it is a great site.
Betfury published a roadmap on their site, and it looks like they have some plans for a license in the fourth quarter of this year. Maybe we will see an announcement from them about the license within the next two weeks, or they will postpone it to the first quarter of 2021.
In my experience, roadmaps are not absolutes. It's great if development teams can stick to the roadmap schedule but something that you have theoretically calculated that it might take you an x amount of time might need more to get done. Even if it's got nothing to do with making programs and it's a license.

They only downside is that you need to be rank 2 in order to participate and I am a long way from that (only at 5%  Tongue).
Also, a faucet with x3 reward is available from rank 2. I think this restriction is necessary considering that the minimum withdrawal amount is only 5k sats, and some users abused the free box at the previous event (Betfury birthday party).
I don't think it could be abused much since they offered a certain amount of satoshis will a certain amount of cooldown until you could claim from the faucet. I do agree, however, that certain limitations should be placed. I imagine they gained a lot of new users from their birthday faucet offer, though. So, you gain some, you lose some.
85  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your merit will find you! on: December 15, 2020, 10:31:48 PM
To be brutally honest, This 'merit' system is completely flawed!( IMHO)

I can provide thousands of very helpful posts by some users without any merit given to them. On the other hand someone with lot of merits, gets merit for posting any useless posts from their fellow forum friends. I am shocked and saddened when I see a user doesn't get any merit for posting an initial thread, but someone gets merit for simply replying to that thread even if they simply replies  such as 'yes it's correct or I agree in this point bla bla'.

Moreover, 'Useful' is a relative term. What is useful to some one may not be same to others.

Current Merit system works same as 'Rich gets richer and Poor gets poorer'. ( IMHO)

When a newbie joins  the forum all they are told 'You need to make yourself useful to earn merit'. This a vague statement.

Here is my suggestion:

On a weekly basis, moderators can check how many posts ( non spam) a user has posted and rank them higher based on post ( no spam) count.
In my opinion, there is no perfect system but you have to admit that before the merit system the situation had gotten out of hand with people trying to rank up by literally spaming every part of the forum. Yes, certain good posts are being ignored and other, maybe less deserving posts, are getting more merits but it's better than the previous system.

I remember checking this thread back in 2018. I am pleasantly surprised that there has been actual development and that the coin is even on coinmarketcap and seems to be listed on some exchanges. Don't get me wrong, a lot of Bitcoin forks promise things and don't deliver at all. Do you guys have any faucets or anything like that?

Cool to see some old users coming back Cool
Currently there arent any giveaways or faucets...
Only option to get some BTC2 is buying Shocked
Not a problem  Cool
I guess if the Crex24 allows me to buy some, I can buy some. It used to be an okay exchange (with many useless coins but still not scammy) but I haven't stepped foot in there since early 2019 and I think I heard somewhere that they now require KYC? I'm not sure I'd want to go through that process.
KYC may require from some countries? It is not required of me and I am not in the USA.
I'm not a US citizen nor do I live in the US. I am however living in Europe, so there may be a requirement for KYC, which I'm not a fan of.

88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 13, 2020, 11:36:57 PM
I think it's more important to know the sport and the teams you're betting on. Especially now with Covid, if you are not aware of the changes every team has gone through, it's very difficult to make a correct prediction. Merely relying on odds to place a bet isn't the correct strategy although it should tell you whether it's worth placing the bet or not.
You are right, knowing the sport and teams during this period of the pandemic matters alot, the recent qualifiers game my country Nigeria played recently made me have a re-think about this recent games, the players were tested of COVID-19 and they turned negative the day before the play and when they re-tested again morning before the play they were positive and that was how we lost out. I won't put odds first in placing bets but the teams players and their crisis internally.
Yeah, Covid is the exact reason I am not gonna be betting all that much this season. There is simply no way to know beforehand if players will test positive just mere hours before the game, important players too. It's one thing to have a player to accidentally get injured in the last training before a game, it's not uncommon. But with Covid you get more chances for a team to not play with the players it normally would.

Well, when there is such a system as the merit system, a lot of newbies will try to abuse it to rank up. The smarter ones will do so subtly.

I've been here for years now, I'm old enough to remember a time before the merit system (I know my rank probably doesn't really show that but my activity and posting has never been consistent) and I've seen quite a lot of tricks made by newbies. I even tip my hat to some of them. But most of them are as subtle as an elephant  Cheesy

Anyone else not get staking dividends yesterday?

There was a delay but eventually everyone got their coins. Probably related to the site maintenance. Every user were spamming the same question over in their telegram like their life would depend of it. I asked it once too before i realized what's happening.
Wow, did they really spam it? I definitively missed that but I also didn't even realize I didn't get the dividends until they fixed the error today (and added a sweet small bonus too, I have to add).

I do expect small hiccups to happen on the road for any new website. And I understand that people who have probably given money will be anxious any time something doesn't go according to plan but when a question has been asked, acknowledged, and even asked a few more times, there is no reason to repeatedly ask for the same thing.

As long as they rectify the problem, then, there's nothing to worry about. And looking at the numbers, dividends per day is quite big actually for a casino that was only introduced about 3 months ago in the forum. I guess, their staking feature is working and players who are earning their BFG tokens are hoping that one day it will hit in the exchange with fair value. Not bad strategy. Casino sites really need to think outside the box in order to gain their niche in this competitive industry.
I agree that casino websites must think outside the box. These websites are a dime a dozen and if they don't offer anything new or enticing then they won't be around for long. The staking feature is what initially drew me to Betfury and it is something that I believe is fresh. The faucet is nice but I consider it a bonus, it doesn't affect my opinion on the website.

Well, I just got my e-mail and tried the new feature, the wheel of fortune. It works as intended. My only issue with it, so to speak, is that I had to try three times to get past the hCaptcha. Usually, with the Recaptcha it doesn't take me that much unless I have a bad connection. And freebitcoin is already using Recaptcha for their faucet, so why even go for hCaptcha?
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: December 11, 2020, 11:28:33 PM
Whoever bans crypto currencies can quickly become irrelevant. Stuck with their burning fiats.

I seriously hope its not my country.

France is already been on fire for about 3 years, what's left?

Certainly might be good to get the coins stowed away for now.

I think they are very late in trying to abolish cryptocurrencies. This is the kind of stuff that you either nip in the bud when it's too small or you watch it grow and grow until you can't do much to stop it. And I am glad for that. Crypto doesn't necessarily have to be the "competition" but the way governments are handling fiat, it will be. And if they turn completely against crypto, coins like Monero won't even suffer.

I think it's still nice that they give out as much as they do, especially if you check Bitcoin's price. Obviously, they had to lower it but to be honest I don't know many websites that give 10 sats. per 20 minutes right now.
I doubt it's the bitcoin price that forced them to decrease the amount in their free box. It could be because of the number of referred accounts claiming thousands of sats each day. There was a case that they deleted many accounts because they thought they're being cheated. All accounts were restored after the Referrer disputed that.
Interesting. Yes, as soon as an opportunity for free Bitcoins comes up there's always a bunch of people chasing after it, trying to take advantage of it and abuse it to their benefit. I just assumed that they lowered it due to the price because Bitcoin had risen substantially in November alone, and reducing the price of the claim seemed natural.

Damn, the people who have consistently used this faucet since 2013 are probably millionaires by now. And to see some of the comments (since the thread is also that old) saying that it "might" be worth their time is hilarious in hindsight.

I don't know when the website was launched but around the time that wetsuit joined the forum and started promoting it in late 2013 the price of Bitcoin was around $1,000. The price did go back down to the low 200's. Going by my statistics, the average I earned per year is around $40. If I earned $40 in the first year this faucet was around, then my BTC would have only gone up at most 100x in value and I would have $4000 which is a long way from being a millionaire.
I don't know, this amount you're referring to seems too low. And I'm assuming you're also discounting earning from referrals (even I have a few and I joined in late 2017). And interest earning. Also LTU_btc posted just before you that BTC was giving out 1000 sats per hour back in the day, and that's not even mentioning that this would have been their lowest reward. By using the faucet regularly, you can't not win some of the higher number rewards. And, of course, you'd have to calculate that the reward is depending on Bitcoin's price.

I admit that my comment about the users being millionaires may be aiming a bit too high and be dependent on other variables too, such as referral count and pure old luck.

Yeah but to my understanding, slot games are not their own games, they just host them. Plinko, Dice, Coin Flip, and the one with the rocket raccoon (I forget the name), are their games. In a sense, because there are variations of these games on similar websites. You can play those with the faucet money.

Naturally slots are made by them, it takes time and money to develope such a huge amount of slots, (and usually designers have to pay royalties for copyrights too), And you can even filter them by the developer. But does that really matter if we can use them to mine BFG tokens anyway?
Well, I haven't even tried the slots so don't ask me  Cheesy
I am satisfied with their simple, non-slot games either way, and I don't need to spend a bigger amount playing the slot games. And I like the fact that they currently have a faucet that you can claim regardless of whether you're low on balance or not.

They have free satoshis that you can get from the box at the upper portion of the site. Is that not enough to use to test their games? Or you need huge play money to feel  the game?
Betfury decreased the daily profit of faucet (free box) from 1800 sats to 720 sats per day. Maybe it's still enough to test some games like Dice, Plinko but I guess it isn't enough for slots. IIRC minimum bets are 0.001 mBTC per line for some slots games.

Why do you that they are millionaires? Well, I'm not saying that's not possible. But it's very likely that they sold BTC that they earned at some point. It's also possible that they gambled it Cheesy.
I use Freebitco.in consistently for 5 or 6 years and my total earnings from it is quite solid money. But it's not something very impressive. We aren't talking about millions or even hundreds thousands Cheesy.
And yeah, sometimes it's interesting to read old posts with future predictions.
Okay, that's fair. I shouldn't be assuming but they were at least presented with the opportunity to get an asset that is currently very valuable without doing anything for it  Grin
And I did write that they are "probably millionaires". That's where the probability lies, if they sold their BTC or somehow lost it they can't profit from its price rising.
I've used the faucet myself but I got to the crypto game too late for that faucet to have any real impact in my life, economic-wise.
