It was moved from the original genesis block, but they aren't in circulation and that was when he put them into cold storage. My portion of the TOR premine are still sitting in my wallet. My partner posted this a few pages back... I really want to believe you and I want this to be a good project but how do you explain there being more for sale than has been mined? Currently there are 16,523 Tor for sale but there has only been 14,576 blocks mined.....Earlier today there were 25,000 Tor for sale. Where did all these extra Tor come from if not from you? Please post a screencap of your wallet with the 200,000 coins.![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FFoLQutY.png&t=663&c=WVm0Z24fHfKzng)

looks like a copy-paste coin, only name/symbol/port is changed from another coin. Done by newbie from Seattle:
torproject.org
Domain Information Domain: torproject.org
Organization: The Tor Project, Inc Street: 217 1st Ave S #4903 City: Seattle State: WA Postal Code: 98194 Country: US Phone: +1.2064203471
maybe a new graduate in microsoft? lol
That is not the website for this coin. torproject.org is not affiliated with torcoin. torproject.org is the offical website of the Tor Network. This coin's site, tor coin.org is registered by proxy through godaddy.

How is this thread still a thing?
Probably because people occasionally bump it after 5 weeks of inactivity.

The worst thing is, in the event of a hard fork, during all the turmoil it will cause, many will exchange their BTC for fiat. The market cap could drop substantially.

Someone such as yourself really shouldn't be dipping their toes into the developers' pool. There's just no need for another shitcoin from someone who solicits coding advice from a discussion forum.
This is what I was going to say. If you can't do this right now what makes you think you can answer people's questions when they are having trouble with their wallets down the road? Please don't make a coin. You're not skilled enough to make a good one.

How many coins is possible to earn by masternode per day?
I'm getting at least 12 coins a day running 1 masternode. Sometimes as many as 15.

Right now I've got the program set with a BTC buy from Coinbase. It shows the Coinbase rate for the buy on the buying page. But then when it goes back to the overview page it shows a way higher rate for BTC. Why is this?
Currently right now at the time of this post Coinbase says BTC is worth $1208. I have blockfolio to set to get the price from Coinbase. Yet blockfolio shows the BTC price in the main page as $1269. Is there some way to correct this so that blockfolio will show the true USD amounts in the overview page?

5. What kind of unique technology is here in comparison to Dash or PIVX?
One thing is for sure, there is much less of this coin than Dash or Pivx. Only 4 million coins circulating. Compare that to Dash with 7.3 million or Pivx with 53 million!.

Why is it called KidsCoin. What on earth does it have to do with children?

No BTC but all my money is in PIVX, EXCL and a few other alts which are all measured in terms of BTC.

Are you allowed to post an url when you're a junior member?
As far as I can tell you can post a url when you are still a newbie but you cannot embed images. I think they should change the newbie rankings slightly to account for users like me who have been here for 4 years but made few posts. I still have to wait 360 seconds between posts because I am a newbie.

The Dash instamine is partially responsible for the incredible rise of PIVX this past week and some of the other Dash Forks like Exclusive Coin. It definitely is not a "non-issue".

I tried running a masternode on this coin but it is seriously buggy and was making my Windows pc freeze. The wallet needs work.

where did you spend easter in a little cottage without electricity in siberia?
multiple people pmd you. atleast make a decent official statement + a small roadmap, people have lost their trust completely in this coin
It is unreasonable to expect people not to take a break from work while they celebrate holidays. In many countries Easter is a bigger deal than Christmas. Just calm down about the Dev not posting every 20 minutes in here. I'm sure he will get to all of the PM's people have sent him ASAP. I've tried out a ton of different coins and I will say one thing; this coin has one of the smoothest operating wallets I've used. Many of the other Masternode coins like 8-bit and especially Syndicate have wallets that freeze your computer. Also many of the other coins have terrible or non-existent websites. EXCL has a beautiful website that is up to date. It's obvious that this Dev takes the coin seriously and has put in a lot of hard work on this project.

All the fud is ridiculous. This coin is a Dash clone like PIVX but with 10% of the coins in circulation that PIVX has. It has serious potential. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FEQck17a.jpg&t=663&c=aTHHidJcT3rKhg) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FCSQNaTO.jpg&t=663&c=wQL72FAFh1mArA)

The dropbox link to the windows wallet says too much traffic, disabled.
Also, does anyone know if it's possible to install 8bit on linux?

After adding the nodes in the conf file, I still cannot get the wallet to snyc. It just looks like this forever and the thing in the corner is spinning now. Not a single block has been synced in days. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FXoaCZAL.png&t=663&c=Iwm2FfWdr4GL-g)

I think it's still an interesting question posed in this very old thread. The masternode system incentivises investors to hold long term. It's brilliant. That is why I think people will eventually be looking at dash forks like EXCL.
