81  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Website that give away Free Bitcoin on: September 22, 2013, 01:01:45 AM
I also have a post, bitbin.it/1Wy1ldJP, that has some free btc websites. They are referral links but the referral part is obvious and can be removed if you are stubborn.
82  Other / Beginners & Help / Stop the "correct horse battery staple" debacle. on: September 21, 2013, 11:46:00 PM
I call upon the great wisdom that is bitcointalk and request the knowledge necessary to finally spend the outputs that are 1JwSSubhmg6iPtRjtyqhUYYH7bZg3Lfy1T. Even the great and mighty blockchain.info refuses to speak of the outputs. Ok, enough of the role playing. To get to my point, I am looking for a way to spent all the outputs of the aforementioned address to put an end to the blockchain spam. I am happy for all of the money to be spent as a miners fee. I would like it if it is possible for the solution to be a lightweight software solution (ie. no blockchain downloads).

Thanks.

Bartdude: Sorry to hear that you have not been whitelisted. Contact one the admins and i'm sure they will fix it for you. I got whitelisted in a week so I had a good experience. They can be a bit slow to whitelist but once you are in it's brilliant! Also, marcotheminer, stop stealing my referrals. xD
87  Other / Beginners & Help / CoinChat - Earn mBTC just for chatting! on: September 18, 2013, 11:36:22 PM
You may have heard about a service called CoinChat (especially if you have been hanging around faucets). It is a chatroom with a nice community of bitcoiners. The best thing about it is that you earn mBTC just for chatting! There is also a referral contest on at the moment (hence my post). So you have nothing to lose (and a fair amount of mBTC to gain). So have a try, feel free to leave it if you don't like!

http://coinchat.org/ (This is a referal link and I'd appreciate it if you used it, I don't get any money unless I win the comp.)

MOD NOTE:
Referral part of link removed

93  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Litecoin Terracoin and so on. Online Wallet. In need of developers. on: August 01, 2013, 06:17:56 AM
What would be the point of an online wallet if the private keys are on the client side?

May as well just use the official client for whichever coin you are storing and store it yourself.

Makes no sense to have an online wallet that merely acts as a quasi wallet of your coins when the user has the private key.

Unless the private key the users are using on the site is to redeem coins from say a physical bitcoin or litecoin, i would say there isn't a real use that I can see. I may be wrong on this, but it is what I see at the moment.

Check out blockchain.info for an idea of what i'm thinking. The reasons for having an online wallet:

1. No blockchain download.
2. Private keys are encrypted and synced to the cloud ie. access any where.

97  Other / Beginners & Help / Bitcoin Litecoin Terracoin and so on. Online Wallet. In need of developers. on: July 29, 2013, 12:26:48 PM
I am thinking of developing a online wallet (think blockchain.info) for multiple cryptocurrencies that handles private keys client side.

1. Is there a better way than running bitcoind, litecoind, terracoind and so on, on a server and using them to push transactions and get unspent outputs from.
2. Can you actually get unspent outputs from bitcoind.
3. Is there any community interest in something like this?
4. Are there any developers who would be willing to help me develop this. (I am a allright programmer but I could use some help)
5. Is there a js library that can turn unspent outputs in to hex encoded transaction. Needs to support tons of alt coins. I could develop this but if it exists no need to reinvent the wheel.

Thanks in advance! Cheesy
98  Bitcoin / Project Development / Online BTC FTC TRC and so on Wallet - Need Developers! on: July 25, 2013, 03:32:13 AM
I'm looking for developers for a blockchain.info like wallet that supports more than just bitcoin. Eventually i would like something that has the number of currencies of some thing like cryptsy.com. It will all be client side. Please reply if you are interested. Haven't decide whether is should be open source or not. Again, Please reply if you are interested in developing or beta testing. Can't offer any reward at the moment but of course you will receive a share of all donations and developer will obviously keep the source code.

Thanks.
