It is like a network yes. This "network" will be working on finding the right face that is scanned.
The face isn't stored as a picture, it will be a string of numbers. So they will search through the smart contracts - where the string is stored - for a perfect match.

Then each machine will be running on a persons computer, and the one that figures out the puzzle and makes the transaction will be rewarded with the 90% of the fee that the transaction costs.

Do you know anything on how nodes works in other chains?

We will be using a lot of different filters, it depends on which part of the face the filter will be working with.

Here is the direct answer from our algorithm developer:

For face detection filters will be skin filter, edges filter like Canny, Sobel, Histogram of Oriented gradient (HOG) or HAAR. For face recognition is much more difficult and we need classifiers and neuron networks. For convolutions networks the filters are choosen by the training software.
In most cases they are 3x3 or 4x4 matrixes
Also we will have filter for eyes, nose, mouth detection, estimating some proportions and so on

1: The face recognition as you know it is again the blockchain technology if you store picture of people in the chain. This is not what we are doing. We will be taking a picture of the person, and store it in a string that only our system can decode. Using nodal point to do so, when the face is scanned. this will allow us to generate numbers that represents the face. (so called nodal point.)
