81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Everex and Ethereum Bring Financial Inclusion To All on: June 05, 2017, 01:22:54 PM
Working in partnership with banks, money-service businesses (MSBs), and currency exchangers, Everex is creating effective solutions to reduce overheads and compliance costs — and at the same time making financial services more accessible to billions more people in the future.

Everex has identified the following priorities to address using their technology:
* direct global remittances between developing countries;
* A peer-to-peer (P2P) online payments for e-commerce;
* Decentralized P2P exchanges for local currencies;
* No transaction fees for personal use and 1% per transaction for a business account.

Everex’s comprehensive solution not only enables people around the world to employ more agency in managing personal finances; it also provides them with more global investment opportunities.

The actualization of Ethereum is nowhere near complete; however, the technology has already managed to set in motion decentralized solutions that were once deemed impossible. Recently it has been lauded as the future of cryptocurrency, but Ethereum’s potential outstrips even those accolades.

83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Business in the Age of Ethereum on: June 05, 2017, 12:53:02 PM
One of Ethereum’s often cited benefits is the reduction of operational fees. Ethereum eliminates intermediaries, thus decreasing transactional fees and increasing the speed and efficiency of transactions. Every industry stands to benefit from improvements in efficiency and reductions in cost, but this innovation is especially exciting for organizations in developing economies.

Many people in developing economies are subject to complicated remittance processes, exorbitant online payment fees and high currency exchanges. Everex, a FinTech company, is leveraging Ethereum to help people in developing nations with limited access to banks and global financial systems. Everex’s Cryptocash solution enables simple cross-border transactions.

Check this out. Very useful tool to trace ERC20 tokens on Ethereum. Donated a few coins. Keep up the good work.

I feel the same, but unfortunately I think banks and other 'respectable' corporate entities have a phobia of using the bitcoin blockchain. Ethereum has a cleaner reputation for them.

This is a load of bullshit.  Everyone knows there is nothing to differentiate gray and black market use cases of Bitcoin vs Ethereum.  The only thing banks have a "phobia" of is using a coin they didn't premine the entire supply of themselves because they want to pawn it off on others at a billion percent mark up.  All the R3 douchebags bought a bunch of Eth to try and accomplish this, so please, don't strain yourself too hard shilling for Goldman Sachs.  Eth distribution is likely a continuation of the existing financial structure except even worse LOL.

You have a good point, Roach. I wonder where are you getting the info about R3 owning loads of ETH. R3 indeed is a Ethereum fork, but they a) forked over a year ago or so, and b) must have used own coin to propagate transactions. I don't have much time to follow R3 progress and I don't care much either, but any good intel would be appreciated.

We stay on the opposite side of Ripple and R3 and they are owned and created by the banks for the only reason to solve banks problems, and not their customers.

Great article, thanks for sharing. It saddens me to see other project like this on other coins but not on bitcoin.
Do you know if this is being attempted with bitcoin too.

Yes, our first wallet was built using Counterparty on Bitcoin blockchain. However, it turned out to be technologically unfeasible, as confirmation times sometimes reached 2 hours. You can't run financial services with such long delays.  Even 20 minutes is long enough. Thats why we had to move to Ethereum, which opens wider horizons in development. Thank you for support and please stay tuned Smiley

87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xaurum RICO [WITHDRAWALS LIVE] on: August 16, 2016, 08:49:00 AM
I have a few questions please.
1. Who has access to the gold holdings in Loomis ?
If this is your company and safe storage account is in your name, how do you prove that funds are there all the time?
2. Is this gold insured and who is the beneficiary of the insurance contract?

Thank you.

Some information regarding our organization of gold reserves, specifically the arrangement between Xaurum, Nadir and Loomis:

The gold bars we're buying from Nadir are 1 Gram Fine Gold Bullion Bar 999.9 Nadir Gold Lbma cards, that are more expensive than larger quantities. To store our gold reserves made up of 1g cards, we've arranged so that Loomis stores the gold in kilogram bars in order to cut storage costs. When we need the gold, we simply ship the kilogram bars back to Nadir, and they provide us with the 1g gold bars in a short period of time. The Loomis digital open account, where everyone will be able to verify the quantity of Loomis stored part of gold reserves, will be availiable this week. The rest of gold reserves, exactly 7371 of 1 Gram Fine Gold Bullion Bar 999.9 Nadir Gold Lbma cards are stored in Slovenia, in the vaults of banks A banka and Gorenjska banka. This 7371 grams are in Slovenia for faster melting procedure. We hope this additional steps for transparency will make exchanges more willing to list us.

We have contacted Bittrex with the required gold compliance information, and hope to be listed on their exchange soon.

Investors and public would disagree with you, Siamese, as Ether rose 4 times within last few weeks. Ethereum has smart contracts, Bitcoin blockchain does not, and probably never will. Confirmation time is also faster on Ethereum vs. Bitcoin. So I wouldn't rush with assumptions. But we are totally satisfied with bitcoin blockchain and not going to move anywhere unless we are paid Smiley

I'd welcome any questions and criticism about Midas Rezerv.

@LiberOptions. It is a great opportunity and Thailand is the amazing place to live. We are looking for people around the world who is qualified enough to do the job. Travel expenses is on applicant, but we'll help with living arrangements of course. Living in Thailand is not expensive.

@siameze. We are already looking at Ethereum as a possible migration destination to increase the transaction speed. However such migration won't happen in the near future. Bitgold claims to be on blockchain but I don't see it. They have no wallet, no coin, no transparency. Just shuffling the numbers representing gold grams between internal accounts.

Perhaps this article with my interview will give a more clearer picture of what we do and our challenges
