83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: June 09, 2014, 02:48:33 PM
I always feel so sad for the "martingale believers". They are absolutely certain their method works and for the ones that keep playing it ALWAYS results in being 100% wiped out. They lose all their bankroll. And most of the time all they have ever won is a few bet units. Win small till you lose it all.

E-cigarettes for some 3 years now.

I don't know whether the cigarette to e-cigarette conversion is good for the body or not. Anyway, is it addictive? How many times do you use e-cigarettes, in a normal day?

I've tried them too and in my opinion they were very addictive. I inhaled more while vaping. I also got a huge nicotine rush out of them, more so then with regular cigarettes.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem with Bitcoin is on: June 09, 2014, 02:14:37 PM
The real problem with Bitcoin is that it's too advanced for a lot of people. You need to go through different steps to obtain it and it's just not accepted enough at vendors.
88  Other / Off-topic / Re: TV Series Recommendations... on: June 09, 2014, 02:05:27 PM
I just found out about Silicon Valley. It's created by Mike Judge, the guy behind Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill. It's a comedy show about a group who has a tech start up. Highly recommended.
89  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safest wallet on: June 09, 2014, 01:58:11 PM
Just want to ask which wallet is the safest to store my BTC on? Smiley

Any suggestions, please.

IMO the safest wallet would be Blockchain.info.

With that being said, in order for blockchian to be the best wallet, you must first understand how Bitcoin works and implement all of the security features that they offer.

The best way to store bitcoin for a newer/less tech savvy person would be coinbase. They are generally considered secure and offer security features that are easy to understand. Although having your coins hosted at a 3rd party is against the general concept of Bitcoin.

You need to understand blockchain.info is not the offical blockchain. It's just another company. They are just as safe/unsafe as other online wallet services. I would recommend a paper wallet as the safest option.
90  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 when? on: June 09, 2014, 01:54:48 PM
It will take many, many years. I used to have a false hope that I'll earn a ton in a few months but now I realise the truth. It will be a slow ride up hill. Bitcoin will rise but in a more steady way.
91  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the best bitcoin casino? on: June 09, 2014, 01:51:41 PM
I love Just-Dice and PrimeDice. I used to play SatoshiDice back in the day via the Blockchain. Didn't realise you had to pay transaction costs every bet.
92  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst captcha on: June 09, 2014, 01:49:58 PM
The captcha's are getting harder and harder Sad Then again sometimes I just have to fill in one single number. Really random.
93  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your Highest Loss IN A Day on: June 09, 2014, 01:45:29 PM
$30K in a month playing poker.
In BTC I didn't really lose but I could have been set for life if I had hold onto all the coins I've ever bought.
Lessons learned.

95  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Iemand stuurde gisteren per ongeluk 800 BTC naar een oud Mt. Gox adres on: June 09, 2014, 01:17:29 PM

Omg you're such an ass...lol

I'll look for your interview on bloomberg tv where you rebut

You can actually buy an interview on Bloomberg if you'd like. Many interviews are simply ads for the business.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be more than a 'fringe' asset? on: June 07, 2014, 02:00:13 PM
As people get more tech savvy more people will use Bitcoin. In it's current state Bitcoin is simply to complicated for the average customer.
The smartphone apps are actually pretty easy to use. It's still to complicated to get Bitcoins though. You can't simply buy them with your credit card.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: June 06, 2014, 04:22:40 PM
Yes I do. I pay my mobile bill with Bitcoin each month. Works great as I pay with phone wallet so I just have to scan in a QR code. It's faster then paying with creditcard. It only takes a few seconds.
99  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is BitCoin faucets really worth the time? on: June 03, 2014, 03:57:16 PM
It depends on what you do with your time. If you would otherwise spend your time gambling or doing another -EV task then yes go ahead and fill in captcha's. If you have better options for your time like working or good quality entertainment then do that instead.
