If my order says "processing" does that mean they got my money?
I was first to PayPal so hoping my funds got to them before freeze
Yes. I also paid with paypal and am processing. Smiley so you should be good. Did you get an invoice from TH and a transfer statement from paypal?

Now I need to double check with TH... I am in the same situation.  I assumed that the whole paypal situation meant my funds were in the TH paypal account, and that 'processing' on my order page meant my funds were accounted for.

If they actually have received money for my order, then even better.  Grin

If it says processing then TH has received your fund and cleared them. Nothing to worry about there.

very interesting.  might be interested.

do you have any plans to make a k64 version?

Yes. If you can produce a K64 version I might be a potential buyer.

Cheers, looks great so far.

84  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Terrahash Pre-Orders - Wanting to Buy on: June 28, 2013, 06:41:12 AM
So, are you still going to sell it even if you don't get more then the amount you paid for it? Lol?
85  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: June 27, 2013, 07:52:18 PM
Going to have to concur with Bargraphics.

I personally have felt very informed of their progress, and respect their work thus far.  I am actually a bit confused as to all the drama regarding this.  The few messages that I have sent have all been answered relatively quickly...faster than some big tech companies that is for certain.  Also, regarding when your item will ship, having dealt with Paypal and their bothersome ways, I can see how they have no idea which batch you will fall into.  As most purchases were done through Paypal, if they were to block the account for a significant amount of time, Terrahash has already stated they would issue refunds.  Thus, we wouldn't know your place in the queue until people received their refunds and reconfirmed their payment through their new card service or chose to repay in btc.  Prior to this occurring, they would simply be guesstimating.  I generally prefer a definitive answer even if that takes time.

To me so far, they have satisfied their obligation to me.  Emphasis on "so far."  This opinion can most definitely change in the coming months.  Perhaps my comfort level is quite high as I was able to briefly meet with the folks who work at their office and get a quick tour.  Very friendly guys who appear quite knowledgeable.  Although I would love a play by play of daily activities in their office, I realize the useless impracticality of it.  Eventually, we'd just get posts from Terrahash regarding the weird weather in the bay recently or perhaps the odd explosive bowel movement.   Wink

I want to hear relevant information, and that won't come on a daily basis.  Probably more likely a weekly or bi-weekly update.

-JC

+1 Could not agree with you more.

Have you tried logging out and back in, or using a different browser?
Okay, got it now Smiley

I am very tempted to hit like 5 grand, that one kid keeps outbidding me every time xD

I believe he somehow set up to automatically bid or something? Thats an option im guessing?

Also, if you do win, how do we pay you? Via PayPal or?

Because they told us by last Friday they were going to tell us this. and please don't tell me or anyone else in here what we should or shouldn't have bought.  Keep you opinions about other members to yourself unless ask, cause everyones got one just like something else they have! Post your opinions about TH only.  Do you even have an order or are you just arm chair quarterbacking in here anyways...please refrain from making insignifigant comments. and that "list" is far from accurate.
Thank you

The facts are TH announced they'd accept preorders.   At the exact moment they said the units would be available for presale - they were.   Their sale was so successful that Paypal is wary about handing over the huge stack of funds for fear of chargebacks -- which was communicated -- along with a potential remedy pending the outcome (cc directly) -  depending on how / when they get their funds, they'll know who paid and when.

If for some reason they then choose to tell you whether your order will be filled within some specific window of time IMHO is a waste of their time.    Why should they?   You bought it - you'll be served in order...   Were you to learn that you weren't fast enough submitting payment and won't be served until the second or third batch of products, wouldn't they be risking loss of your business as a result of your dissatisfaction with your place in line  and then have to waste even more time refunding your order?

I do have an order - placed and paid for within the first 2 minutes....   These guys haven't done anything to lose any credibility in my mind and like many small businesses before them are faced with growing pains imposed by Paypal.   I'm a huge fan of the community forums but do you really want them responding dozens of posts here about where do I stand in line?   Are you hoping to teach them a lesson in customer service??

Agreed. People complaining here wont make a difference. You can complain 24/7 they cant change what happened with the PayPal thing. It is just a waiting game now. Let them figure things out and stop expecting an answer/update every hour from them. If TH was to answer all your questions and updates he would only be looking at this forum all day and not have time to do anything else.

Give him a break, and give him time.
89  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Terrahash Pre-Orders - Wanting to Buy on: June 27, 2013, 04:06:51 AM
Yeah, it's an auction. It's above $25 now though. Smiley

I can ship to Canada.

Does it give you an error when you try to bid? Do you have an account?

Yep. Got an account. For some reason I click bid and nothing happened. Lol
90  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: June 27, 2013, 01:51:41 AM
This thread is crazy, it's grown 50+ pages since they started taking orders, and you're all freaking out.

If they drop in with an update, an hour later people start screaming for attention again.

No amount of updates will quench your thirst or keep you satisfied.

Irrespective you will all fall to pieces within 24 hours.

Fascinating to watch though...
As far as I know we have had zero updates on the hardware PCB bring up questions.

What like, they haven't finished. As far as I'm aware only one member on this forum has a Klondike 16 board working with one chip. There still is yet to be any confirmed drivers, etc.

Terrahash exist, they aren't in the middle of nowhere, someone could check. Freaking out does nothing constructive.

That is just how they are. Impatient little f**kers=D
91  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: June 26, 2013, 07:27:23 PM
All of you who keep saying its a scam, stop being annoying. Honestly. They have been keeping us up to date as much as possible and probably provide more communication then any other companies I have seen. I have talked to TH numerous amounts of times about everything. For god sakes they have an office. Give them a break honestly. Stop being impatient little kids. If your not satisfied ask for a refund but don't spread "scammers" around because they are not.
92  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: June 26, 2013, 02:16:59 PM
so they answer selective on tickets ... that is much more scaring ...

does anyone that did a bank wire has had his order status updated?

My suggestion is that the answer all tickets concerning paypal & credit card transaction ...

no need to answer btc or bank wire transaction as ... the money is already in there pocket ...

no more customer convincement needed ... the next step in this prediction would be to refund

all paypal and tell us .... "We can hold queue spots only for those that pay with BTC or bank

wire. Credit card is supported but will let you loose the spot."

and voila all Customer/Purchase Protection ... bye bye :-) scam incoming?!

my wires cleared late last night sometime.. so hope one of my orders will change status today.
not ready to call this a scam yet though.

This whole ordeal is so disappointing. I had such high hopes that maybe they were different or were going to do things a little better than the rest. What ever happened to having a good business model first? Now they are winging it with everyones money.  Undecided

Their pricing system does not change the status whenever your payment has cleared. My payment cleared and all I had to do was give TH a quick call and sey "Hey, did you revive the payment for this order ID?" He asked a few questions like bank account holder and said "Yep! Ill change that order status now." and he did. Immidiately. Just give him a call and stop complaining Smiley
93  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Terrahash Pre-Orders - Wanting to Buy on: June 26, 2013, 06:25:03 AM
If you are still looking, I posted my order on Bitmit. There's a link in my signature.

Sweet. Thanks!

And am I mistaken but the highest bid right now is 25 bucks? If he was to win he would only pay you 25 bucks, THAT'S ALL? Or how does it work?

Also I live in Canada. Can you ship there? I can cover shipping costs? Cheers:)

EDIT: Its not allowing me to bid? Lol? :/
94  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: June 26, 2013, 12:09:54 AM

we should also collect ... data about payment method and status of orders ... we would get much more transparency of our eta ... and where it goes ...

for example....

bank wire, status: on-hold, payment: 19.06.2013

and so on ... :-)

That has already been done by many different users. Here is one of them:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AiyRS_8Y_814dGM0cU5KdFJTVlpWeG9LSDJKYnNmMkE#gid=5

There are tabs at the bottom and the second tab i found most useful Smiley Tells you absolutely everything you need to know Smiley

its missing the payment type like ... bank wire, paypal, cc, btc ....
its missing the order status ... on-hold, processing, refunded, canceled, waiting ... whatever can be there ...

No it actually is not. Second tab says if you paid or not, hence if you paid the order is processing... It's all on the second tab if you paid or not, cancelled etc. payment type does not really matter as long as you paid or not so.

TerraHash needs to get CC processing:
http://www.costco.com/merchant-account.html
Would probably save a lot more then PayPal charges and easier for the rest of us.

I believe he actually is setting that up. He said it should be done by Friday Smiley

And I received my email this morning. I believe everyone received the same e-mail? For those of you who have not received one, here you go.

Sorry for taking so long for this order status update.

Here is the update:

PayPal has still not released the hold on our funds. We are still talking to them and trying to get the hold lifted. If something does not work out, we might have to refund all the PayPal orders. In that case we will give all the PayPal customers an option to hold their spot by paying with Credit Card, BTC or Bank Transfer. We have already been approved for a merchant account for Credit Card processing, and the bank will take 2-3 days to setup our account. We are still hopeful that PayPal will release our funds and we won't have to take this step of refunding all the PayPal orders. If not, as soon as our Merchant Account for Credit Card processing is set up by the bank (hopefully before Friday), we will mass-refund all the PayPal orders.

In case of a PayPal mass refund, certainly a lot of customers will fail to repay and hold their spot, resulting in many orders moving up the queue. So please give us another 2-3 days to resolve the issue with PayPal and decide the next step.

Thanks you.
97  Other / Off-topic / Re: Recieved 50GH BFL Single Today! on: June 25, 2013, 07:45:51 AM
Josh you have the nerve to call me a nutt case?

There's a difference between being a nutt case than someone thats

being pissed off about being ripped off and lied to about promised delivery of ASIC hardware.

You mutha fucker's at BFL tell lies for a whole week, just to cover the one's from the previous week .

You ran out of lies and you out of excuses. You arrogant asses have the nerve to give youselves

pats on the back when you're not clearing half of the backlog of pre-orders from last year,

and find glory in donating $120000 in BTC to a fucking charity. There would'nt be no

bitcoin period without miners like us, you all at BFL lying to and fucking over everyday.

And one has to wonder where did the BTC come from? Our ASIC's?

Or how about the miners who paid in BTC who did'nt get a refund at the BTC exhange spot price?

And lets talk about the revised Singles pics,in which the original link to the page was moved or deleted

And yes you are correct but i don't remember seeing a posted pic of the redesigned Singles But you failed to mention on what date,

On April 28th you described it by stating:

"Side fans will be 120mm in a push/pull configuration. There is the option to also put 92mm fans on
the tops of the heatsinks that are inside the unit. Connectors will be PCIe 6 pin x 2 per 120 GH. External
power brick included with each unit."
https://forums.butterflylabs.com/bfl-forum-miscellaneous/2050-new-case-singles-6.html#post27585

Your statement corroborates with what i'm saying which a shipment of ASIC Jalapenos Little Singles and revised Singles

went out in Early May.Even codinginmysleep even made a video on youtube unboxing a Jalapenos

in May,so Josh i suppose those individuals faked and made up lies and pics about receiving ASIC's in May?

Why a spike in the mining difficulty by the fucking millions if you all at BFL did'nt ship out Little Singles and

Singles? Avalon and Asicminer been mining all this year and haven't been driving up the difficulty

at the rate it's been going up since the end of April.

Josh the more i communicate with you the more pissed off i get.

You and BFL shamed those of us BTC miners in America with your shady and unethical practices,as well as  some of the bitcoin community.

Those of us who did pre-order are the laughing stock over at AsicMiner and Avalon camps.

and even on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ERE4uiufqE

Josh if the Fed's charge and convict you and BFL just on (fraud alone)

I hope the judge deny you bail and order you to share a cell with a "Fleece Johnson"

that bend you over and bust your asshole wide open in that jail cell every night.

Look Ma!! is that his mouth or is that his asshole gaped open!!

Well, that escalated quickly.

I paid for order number 1230... Still says on hold even though I sent wire transfer Thursday morning... What's going on TH? Would I be able to get that to processing? Did you revive the payment?
100  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: June 24, 2013, 07:03:24 PM
Sent TH another email with update on my payment just for a good measure. Smiley Never know, lol.

But on chip availability they did say "We have already taken orders for all the chips that we have pre-ordered from Avalon." so based on that I would think that they estimate that all the orders they took in will be covered by the chips they ordered. Just a thought.

Yes I have tried to read between the lines on that statement as well lol, with wishfull thinking. I guess we are all on pins and needles in one way or another. It wouldn't really matter as much if the difficulty and hashrate wasn't climbing so fast. Im afraid if and when we get our boards they wont be earning the amounts I had hoped for or even close? and now BTC is slumping, but it usually bounces back.

Edit: We have already taken orders for all the chips that we have pre-ordered from Avalon

I would assume this means both batches? Sad

I am hoping its for not just both batches but all the ore orders they have taken all together!  Undecided
