Hard Cap Adjustments
As a result of the current high volatility of ETH, CEDEX has decided to adjust the hard cap for the token sale, to ensure the transparency and affordability of the CEDEX Coin.
- The original hard cap was 100,000 ETH. However, due to the recent rapid shifts in ETH/USD rate, CEDEX has decided to cap the dollar value to be sold during the Token-Sale at $40 million USD. According to this adjustment the value of 1 CEDEX Coin will not exceed 80 cents.
- As the Hard Cap for the Token-Sale will be published in ETH, prior to the event, on March 14, 2018 08:00 GMT, CEDEX will be locking and publishing the final ETH amount to be sold in the token-sale.
hi dev. i want to clarify the 80 cents. is that the final price of one cedex token? or that 80 cents already included to the bonuses you will offer? and what if you will not collect the hardcap, do you have soft cap? I have been searching on your website, whitepaper and online to find your soft cap but with no success.

The fact that you are on whitelist doesn't guarantee 100% getting the 30% bonus. You must contribute before others mean before presale cap is complicated. So the 30% bonus is not guarenteed ?
Generally speaking in crowdsales, the majority of those who do the whitelist process don't end up actually using it. Is why you extend whitelist. |

2. Smart Contract - We are consistently enhancing our smart contract capability, exploring new technological approaches for improving our CEDEX Coin token

Was going through the white paper and am impressed you already have some recognizable Diamond Dealers already backing the project but are there measures to prevent people from buying or selling fake stones?
When diamonds are sent to a custodian, they are authenticated to ensure no counterfeits are sold, and that the diamond is in fact the correct one. Once the diamond has been verified, the sender receives the token representing that particular diamond. |

The presale starts Friday March 16th, 2018 at 19:00 GMT. The pre-sale offering will be conducted over a 10-day period beginning on March 16th, 2018 at 19:00 GMT. The main-sale start date will be dictated by the completion of the pre-sale. If the pre-sale is completed within 24, hours main-sale will open at 19:00 GMT on March 17th, 2018. If the pre-sale is not completed within 24 hours the main sale will commence at 19:00 GMT on April 13th, 2018. In either event the main sale will last 28 days or until the maximum cap is reached. The min for the presale is 1 eth. There is no limitation on contribution amounts for the main sale. 1 eth currently = 500 tokens. However, note that pricing will be updated prior to the presale opening on March 16th. |

This is interesting. I don't own any diamond but your project seems to provide me a way to get some diamonds.
Question is will real diamonds be delivered and how will it be delivered should I used the exchange and pay with CEDEX?
You would use the Cedex coin to buy diamonds on the platform and to pay any fees. After you have purchased any diamonds, you can either keep them on the platform, in the custodian's care, or have it delivered to you. From page 12 of the whitepaper: 4.3 DELIVERY OF DIAMONDS A trader who purchases a Diamond-Smart Contract will be able to request the delivery of a physical diamond. In such cases, the delivery process will begin when the Diamond-Smart Contract status changes to In Delivery Process and the diamond is sent to the owner. To all our CEDEX community! We have some exciting news to begin 2018!
As a result of high demand, new opportunities and regulatory developments, our pre-sale will be increased from 20% of total tokens offered to 50% and will be rescheduled. The new token pre-sale date is now: Friday March 16th, 2018 at 19:00 GMT.
There has been an extremely high level of interest in the CEDEX Coin on the token sale whitelist, and it has received substantial SAFT contributions, indicating that a 20% token pre-sale would likely fall well short of meeting the total demand. This has lead us to increase the sale amount to 50%, presenting a new opportunity for public investors, as 25,000,000 CEDEX Coins out of the 50,000,000 total publicly offered tokens will be available in the pre-sale. The remaining CEDEX coins will be made available through the public token sale.
Another significant benefit of the date change is that it allows for the Japanese market to participate in the token pre-sale. The Japanese Financial Services Agency (FSA) has recently decreed that tokens be registered on a Japanese regulated exchange prior to a token sale. Japan has long been a leader in cryptocurrency adoption and investment and represents a major potential market for CEDEX. As such, we felt obligated to our partners and participants to reschedule the pre-sale in order to accommodate the Japanese market. The extra time will be used to try and complete the regulation process and allow our Japanese contributors to participate in the token sale.
