You can liquidate BTX to get more BTX cheaper after the airdrops   That would be too risky to take. Haha, I have the worst luck when I attempt something like that, coins usually take off like a rocket just after I sell them. So the airdrop is the safer alternative for me. Now that the market is showing signs of recovery, it is just that little bit riskier. The price does crash on Mondays though, so it does pay off for those that have taken the risk so far. you can get around 10-15% instead of 6% if you sacrifice the airdrop and manage to sell high and buy low after the monday. But you get like this lets say 5% more every week until one week you sell high and something happen... and the btx will moon and you will cry yourself to sleep...  6% every week is VERY good and maybe, just maybe, we shouldnt be so greedy and want more more more  You can try this strategy, but as a trader, I can tell you it's hard to time the market and it can turn against you. I did this strategy a bit in 2017 with about 10%-20% of my BTX holdings, but I decided to stop doing it. The compound effect of the airdrop is good enough for me. And this week we haven't seen this Monday drop, so it's not a golden rule! |

I took a look at the BTX addresses linked for the mondays airdrop.
There is a lot of addresses, but very few are not empty.
Then, 2 things :
- a lot of persons created BTX address and have no BTX : it is some buyers for later :-).
- it is possible the airdrop will continue more longer than expected.
13129 wallets received airdrops out of 51569 registered addresses which is 25%. One thing to keep in mind is that many people might have several registered addresses under the same wallet. For instance, myself I have 11 registered addresses of which 5 are empty at the moment. Looks like the new BitCore BTX Version 0.15.0.2 update is not working on MacOS High Sierra 10.13.2. I will just roll back to the old version until the update is fully complete. https://imgur.com/PZTixgmI also got the same error message just a moment ago. PATIENCE: Don't chase a trade, instead let it come to you
ANTICIPATION & ABILITY TO READ MARKET SENTIMENT: Know when to buy (or sell) before everyone else know they need to buy (or sell)
HAVE A PLAN: Know what price you want to enter, what price you want to exit, your trade size and stop before you play your trade
LESS IS BETTER: It's better to know all the ins and outs of just a handful of tickers (coins) vs. jumping around 50-100 different tickers in the hope of finding the perfect setup

I'm not saying Tether is not a scam, but I start to hear people saying that some large BCash whales like Roger Finger Ver are funding Bitfinex'ed and will back him in the event of a lawsuit.
Think about it for sec... who would benefit from a collapse of both USDT and BTC?
Tether and Bitfinex are in great danger of being financially investigated by the US government due to fraudulent suspects and failing to prove bank reserves, which is a serious problem the reason is that the whole market has fallen sharply in the past few days. If there is no escape for the USDT problem, Tether will be in trouble. I agree it looks suspicious and $2B for most people that are invested in crypto is lots of money, but for financial institutions it's peanuts. I'm like 51% scam / 49% legit at this point. I'm trying to find arguments as to why it would be legit and the more I dig the more I find everyone repeating the Tether FUD like minions without doing any research. When 99% of people are going right, I like to look what's on the left side! Ok... Tether is mostly the next crypto scam to implode unless they get this audit done that'll prove everyone wrong.

I mean for those who like to trade a portion of their portfolio with a short-term vision, having a stable pairing crypto is ideal.

Why is everyone claiming that Tether is a scam all of sudden ? Just because one scaptical kid on reddit said so ? I don't really don't get it ,if you have proof that it's a scam more than happy to see them . Don't follow what everyone is saying with 0 knowledge. Which is very common these days with these crypto kids. Well, nobody has proof that Tether is a scam but you can't deny the fact that it looks suspicious. They just printed another $600M over the last few days and there is no way to make sure it is really pegged to US dollars. Everyone was screaming loud and clear that Bitconnect was a scam and you know how it ended, right? Today, a significant portion of the crypto community screams loud and clear that Tether is a scam... who knows how it's going to end? You can't also deny that Tether is not helping their own credibility case by not providing the answers everyone is asking> |
