1 week max before bears try to make profit again on those people who buy bitcoin in last 2 weeks ? Many of those (especially new one) will most likely close their position, making bears profit.
This will triger also "i have enought of this shit" from some other long time people, making price reach new bottom.
And then we go into repeat mode again, bears making profit on those who just joined the game.

Maybe the bullrun is starting   I dont think those 2 would put their money where 51% mining takeover could happen. You and me would go into risk , but i dont think they would do anything like that. Imagine stuff going times 10 or times 50 in price and one day china goverment decide to take stuff into their hands. |

Yes, and I really am not convinced by the reaction from support on this dump. I suspect that we may see another test for lower.  There was a 94% decline in 2011. So we may still fall to around $1000. We are not in 2011. Totally stupid to always compare with the very beginning of BTC. I agree too! |

So how long you guys think before 6k line drops significantly? I think it will hold for 1 or 2 weeks or so (maximum 1 month) then it will drop nicely bellow 6k.
It droped faster then i imagined. Now i guess if it stays bellow 6200 for a few days its less then 1 more week and we break 5700 |

I think if someone tends to selling btc now is the same as buying between 18,000 - 20,000$. RSI is now near the oversold levels and showing some indication of reversal, so what do you waiting for..just grab some btc now and thank me later  again bears will be waiting again a few days for fresh suckers to jump in  and then and then.....repeat again |

1: Bitcoin futures brought power to bear market
2: There are positive news lately to bitcoin, but bitcoin needs new investors, recent bull run in end of 2017 turned away new investors. Every failed attempt to go up makes things even worse.
3: Some people has decided its a lot easier and safer (I think they are also bears with bitcoin futures) to wait until bitcoin go a bit up and then draw it down, then to help pump it up. With so many people scared there is just not enough fresh new blood for bull market.
4: Hodlers are selling. More and more people says fthiss I am going while i still have profit, so we go lower and lower.
Stuff doesnt look good.I cant find any reason for market to recover, new people are to afraid to jump in.
Stuff will change only if there is some big game changer. Like some app on mobile devices that can get easily into hands of everyone. This can take months or year or 2. Until then its bear time.
Bears will be waiting each time for "a few more suckers to get in", price go up, then they will draw it down. And each draw down will be bigger. And with each bigger downtrend some more suckers will thing "okay this is the bottom", then it will be some small correction up, and again down by bear, bigger down again, and again some fresh suckers with "okay this is now really bottom"....and again
And we go like this until some bigger game changer happens, which make take 1 year easily.

Best analysis at the moment. This bear market is a replay of 2013-2015. $4800 is a good entry point. i dont know why people thing things will behave on similar patern / way like in past? but there are 1000s of possible paterns, so one day someone might hit by accident true prediction |

I dont like it, I hate it, but i got to admit the Bear whales are strong. News regarding bitcoin and crypto are very positive lately. So I am thinking similar is going on like many times in stock market. Where hedge funds come in to surprise common folk with opposite move that you would think by news suggestions (common folk will usually have weak shorts or longs, and they will be cleared on stop lossed with big hedge funds moves, making hedge funds easy profits).
So I am thinking whales are killing all new comers (and those who decided to join on dips and invest from 8, 8.5, 9k....and are easier to panic and sell). Positive news situation atracts new investors, but bears kills them forever. But without new people...

The good news is that the Sun will come out.........just not tomorrow, and I will bet my bottom dollar. I would be a heavy buyer around April 6th, and again mid-May. And early 2019. P.S. this chart is from the future, your results may vary.  it would be weird if someone would be lucky out of 50 people throwing their predictions I think long term predictions are all....well you cant predict some very bad news and then its behaviour on bitcoin. Good morning Bitcoinland from rain-soaked Puerto Morelos. Down on the coast for a day to visit with friends and buy a new wifi router, and a few other things that are unavailable in the jungle.
First internet access in almost a week and I see the decline from $9.95k continues, although it rebounded a little this morning... currently $8800USD/$11230CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Why is it that the best buying dips always seem to happen when I have no access to buying?

Got a couple more weeks before heading north before the real rainy season begins. Busy preparing for the rains by replacing the roof and fixing the stucco on the walls of the house I bought in January.
I also have to plant a couple of rows of guano palms along the road frontage of my second property (which I bought last week) before the rains come. They should be well-watered and established by the time I come back down in November and will make an excellent privacy "hedge" as well as a fine source of roofing thatch.

Most of us have been here many times and see it as a good opportunity to buy more.
But I think the volatility is scaring new investors and can potential kill crypto in the long run.
I agree If we want to hit high mark we need bitcoin to constantly get new people who will stay on long and hold on long run. Current 4 month situation is not bringing in such people, its just scaring them to go away for ever. |

Is there anyone who think that big fee was one of the most important thing that made bitcoin what it is now? And now fee aint so big like it was.
If people resell some product from person a, b, c, d .......i, and if fee is 1% then passing through 10 people price go up for 11% WITHOUT any external effect that would make price rise (or drop).
Imagine if there was no fee....or if fee was 1 time bigger....would shit be different?
Or let me ask you, if fee was 20% bigger (compared to current fee), you think bitcoin value would be bigger now? it would not be so a lot bigger that people would from start say "i gona gona stay away from this stuff, its to big fee", but all transactions would raise price
Problem happened when altcoins market % started to rise (but bitcoin was already high at that point) and there was to much of disscusion regarding fee.
I think big fee made bitcoin what it is.
