81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safety of your private key on: March 31, 2019, 03:55:21 PM
No matter what type of the wallets, better store the key offline and protect with password. I think it can be stored online, but must be encrypted first with strong combination.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Team also needs to pass KYC on: March 31, 2019, 01:39:25 PM
Investors and bounty hunters are mostly required to undergo KYC while the team behind the project itself are not known. And they scam people. I suggest the team should first pass a "KYC" test and publish it on their website before investors and hunters are also made to do same. What do you also think?

Literally, KYC means "Know Your Customer", so this term is not suitable. But I got what you mean by "KYC" for the team. I have not hear a global institution for this kind of matter, which is to regulate and as an intermediary between investors and ICO conductor. But there should've been local regulators who make such policies like the SEC. Some ICO reviewers have tried to do their researches to find out the team's background wether the ICO is legit or not, though can't be used as reference fully.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this a good idea? on: March 30, 2019, 03:01:22 PM
Is it a good idea in your opinion for me to wait for ethereum price to increase so I can sell it and move the money to more alt coins or should I just move the current amount of ethereum to other altcoins right now?  Undecided
If you are an active trader, I think you should've the answer, which is trade to other coins that you think can give you profit for this moment. Decision is yours to make by doing your own research before.

85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new coins are worthless! on: March 28, 2019, 04:01:22 PM
I think it depends on the project itself whether it provide a new and unique concept in the blockchain tech industry. If the concept has already exist in the industry and has no advantages than the existed, than it will be difficult to survive and the coins will be worthless. The other important factor is the team development. If the team consistantly develop the project and making good progress, then the coins will has a good chance to be worth.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VANTA a SCAM? Wasted 6 weeks working for Vanta without payment on: March 28, 2019, 11:11:37 AM
I didn't join this campaign nor supporting this project. But this topic is quite hot recently regarding to bounty reward. Hearing the situation regarding to bounty hunters which required hunters to trade 10 days consecutively as a mandatory option is a little unfair. Though this condition may be the right of the team, but it is not a good impression which showing the team is likely unwilling to pay its supporter.
This project may not be a scam, but it scammed bounty hunters by being unfair. As the bounty campaign manager, I think we can not completely blame him because of the rules were changed according to the orders of the team. But at least he should stand in front to defend his bounty hunters by finding a better and fair solution for all parties.
May be there is someone who can be a mediator in finding a solution to this problem.

88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Locking Bounty Rewards To Avoid Dumping on: March 27, 2019, 02:50:13 PM
The main reason that makes sense is that the project itself does not have a strong foundation, especially its community, so the token holder is shaken and changes his mind. Mostly projects after Ico suffered from dumping, but projects that have a strong foundation will survive with development.
Even so, still the bountyhunters are blamed. Though the percentage allocation for reward is only a small portion which should not giving a significant impact to the dump.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO WE REALLY NEED MORE STABLE COINS? on: March 26, 2019, 06:55:09 AM
Actually, there are some positive and negative sides of the stable coins.
However, so far, what makes many people interested to invest in cryptocurrency is about the volatile characteristics, that can lead them to gain more profits. The presence of stable coins may be the choice when the bear market is happening, it can decrease the consequences of losing more money. However, on the other sides, when it is bullrun someday, how's about the value of stable coins?
However, yeah, stable coins may be also needed in order to be a certain transaction or financial system.
I agree with you. Each conditions have its positive and negative impacts depend on which part you are taking part. As investors (long-term), stable coin is needed in order to maintain its project/platform in certain purposes such as financial services or transactions. Meanwhile, the volatility of coins in the market will be the opportunities for active traders in regard to gain profit.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest only in active projects on: March 24, 2019, 04:10:00 PM
I totally agree with you, developer or team who have active products will ensure they keep their products and services up and running through this way adding more value to their platform. These are the type of projects we should invest on and comfortable.
You are right. Active projects will be main option in which we are going to invest. Surely this is one of important reasons beside doing other research before we decide to invest.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the future of cryptocurrencies.... on: March 24, 2019, 03:10:32 PM
Cryptocurrencies do have a potential in the future. I think there are still alot of "home work" to do by blockchain tech developers to proof that cryptocurrencies are safe to be owned in term of security by everyone so it can be implemented in daily life use.

93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Should We Follow? on: March 23, 2019, 03:46:43 PM
the last person that i follow called john mcafee  Grin
his information about verge make the price pump really fast
but now his signal isnt worth to follow
Lol, I was following him too and invested in some of the projects he promoted. I got profit from some of them because of the pump and dump actions, fortunately was making quick decision. Since then, I learned not to follow anyone for this thing. Our own research is the most important thing before making a decision.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you tired of creating accounts at multiple exchanges? Here is a solution. on: March 23, 2019, 09:28:46 AM
The platform is very useful for users, especially traders who use a lot of exchanges in trading and different wallets. I like this platform that supports quite a lot exchanges and wallet. Will try for the small amount for the moment and hopefully got some good feedback.

96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) on: March 21, 2019, 04:50:50 PM
Both ICO and IEO will survive. Each of them have their space in the crowdfunding process. For startups with low budget can choose ICO since IEO supposed to pay amount of money to be able to conduct it on the exchange I guess. From the legitimacy perspective, IEO will be more safe if it is conducted on trusted exchange.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 icos on: March 21, 2019, 03:43:21 PM
Do not invest on ICOs, just put your money on existing projects that have a working product like btc, ethereum, litecoin, xrp, electroneum, and monero. ICOs are very risky especially if you are just a beginner in this space. Scams are everywhere and there are very few projects who succeeds in delivering the actual product.
Agree. I think for this moment, stay away from ICOs for invest. Putting your money into established projects may be an option, and the moment is quite right after the downfall of the market some time ago. But still, do your dilligent and research before decide, and DWYOR
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC SHOULD BE STOPPED FOR BOUNTY HUNTERS on: March 20, 2019, 02:42:43 PM
Considering the privacy, I totally agree it should be stopped since litteraly it is for investors. Regarding to bounty hunters multiaccounts, there should be another option to resolve this problem. I am affraid KYC required project for hunters might end up to scam and our personal datas stolen.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Established Institutions will change Cryptos and ICOs Entirely on: March 20, 2019, 09:52:33 AM
So true. Established institutions have important roles in implementing blockchain technology including crypto and ICOs. With the involvement of large companies in developing and adopting the latest technology, sometimes there are parties who are "victims" in the context of competition, especially startups. Startups will find it difficult especially if they do ICOs with the presence of established institutions. But on the other hand, a process like this will actually become a benchmark for investors and the public about the feasibility of projects from startups. This will be a real challenge for startups in the blockchain world.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay Calm, IEOs aren't a threat on: March 19, 2019, 03:09:14 PM
I have overhead many people in various bounty groups talking about how bounty campaigns are gonna die should we move on from ICO to rampant IEO issuance (maybe the exchanges shall take over the advertisements or so).

Fact is that if IEOs become a thing, many projects will arise and hence the services of bounty hunters shall be required again. Every project needs advertisements to expand and that's why we are there as bounty hunters. This is the same way ICOs grew in number.

All we should hope for is a better crypto ecosystem because at the end, we shall be needed for promotion in one way or the other
I think the IEO is not a threat to the bounty hunter. Various developments that occur today are the dynamics of the technological development process in addition to competition in providing convenience and security in the world of blockchain and crypto. Advertisement is an integral part of the business world and so is bounty campaign.
