Belltown how much commission you got from me?

Can you see that? Or you see all commissions summed up?

Nothing!  Sad Still nothing. I really hope they implement those commissions soon, because what we are doing here is we are actually watering down our own profits. The more people join LTB the more people take part in weekly distribution then there is less for each us. There are plenty of talks about referrals on LTB forums, but nothing was implemented or paid out yet.

On the positive side, the more people join LTB the higher value the LTB Network has. So this might drive the price of LTBcoin up, since you can pay for advertising in LTBcoins only. So even if you get less LTBcoins each week, your BTC value might be relatively the same? I really wish this is what’s going to happen.

Don't forget that there is 10 PoP points for the active referral.

This is not how this works.

Let's say I referred 2 new users: Fakhoury and serje.
- Fakhoury generated activity worth 15 PoP
- serje generated activity 5 PoP
Fakhoury will be considered an active referral because his activity is 10 PoP or more. This is what 10 PoP number you mentioned means. Serje is a referral, but not an active referral, because his activity is less then 10 PoP.

Once LTB starts paying for referrals, I will get paid for 1 referral, not 2, because only 1 of my refarrals was active.

how much is the fee?

From my experience, I don't think I was ever charged more then 0.0003 btc for the counterparty transaction, but often it was just 0.0001 btc. I didn't research what I depends on. If somebody knows, please share with us.

Actually I was wrong, I never paid 0.0003 btc fee. I've looked into my counterwallet and all fees I paid are 0.0002 btc or 0.0001 btc.
Just so you know what to expect and how much dust you need in your wallet. I hope it helps.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTBc] The most profitable alt coin to mine is... on: July 31, 2014, 04:44:46 AM
@belltown,

I've a question for you brother,

Why did you stop at 0.075 BTC and 0.088 BTC when you can make more ??

There's a sort of limit about the posts you can make in order to make LTBcoins,
after 10 posts a day you will receive the same amount of coins even if you continue with posting.

see google docs, 1st post.
So best is to do 10 posts a day everyday, but if you are a regular poster, 2 a day is already very rewarding.

Thank you! I'd like to add that this is the official doc that mikerbiker6 mentioned: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1L7HmE8IupFiSrfqk9BgNa4Zg9XogqtScyQjTw0k2xCc/edit?pli=1

Fakhoury, does the doc answer all of your questions? I've learned some things I didn't know myself. Thank you, guys! Good discussion!

we welcome charity (when genuine), just had a whole host of scams lately. and yes "greg" i've looked into you too, kinda weird because since 2012 the Ukraines own state social security(welfare) system changed and took better care of the orphanages, offering kids better education, free dentistry and stuff, right when your website went quiet. Cheesy care to update us on the last two years?

genuine charities get a lot of support so don't by shy to keep us up-to-date. would love to hear about current projects going on.

You must be reading my mind! Are you talking about this charity http://orphanresourcecenter.org/ ? If that's the case this is pretty cool. How did you know what charity I want to help?

Yeah, their website sucks a lot. That's why I was going to pitch this idea to them to create a thread here. This would solve the problem of regular reports and would give them more exposure to bitcoin community. Also people whould be able to ask questions and get answers.

Not sure if my pitch would work with them or not. It took me 2 tries and several months to convince them to start accepting Bitcoin donations. But since then Bitcoin 100 approved them and donated, so I hope they see potential in Bitcoin. Now I'm thinking how to get them more integrated into Bitcoin community, but posting in forums might seem foreign to them...

86  Other / Meta / Re: Do we have a board for charities? on: July 31, 2014, 01:32:52 AM

Off-topic.

As charities are offtopic comparing to other topics :-)

Or if that charity want to create "a project" included with their  charity then perhaps "project development".
Answering questions 2: I remember few and they were posted in offtopic or project development :-) if I remember good.  But I dunno which one is "a really good one". Do some research on your own.  Type "charity" in a search box and see what happens :-)

Regards.

Wow! Off-topic board would be harsh Sad They accept bitcoin so we can call them bitcoin charity. "project development" board is probably slightly better.

Thank you for your answers. I was under impression that there will be a lot of bitcoin charities here, but it seems like bitcointalk is not that popular or suitable for charities. This forum doesn't seem like such a welcoming comunity for them.
87  Other / Meta / Do we have a board for charities? on: July 30, 2014, 11:29:31 PM
I'm thinking about pitching this idea to one of my favorite charities that they should have a presence on bitcointalk. This would increase their exposure in bitcoin community and people would be able to ask questions. BTW, they are already accepting bitcoin donations and they got approved by Bitcoin100.

So the question #1: what board should they create the thread in? What would be the right place for charities?

Question #2: Did any org already do it here? Can you point me to an example of the thread any good charity runs? I looked for Sean’s Outpost and it seems like Jason King doesn’t even have a thread on bitcointalk.

Thank you!

Belltown, please don't ignore me and answer my last question.

Thank you.

Sorry, man. I don't ignore you, I just don't fully understand what you're asking. I make relatively low number of posts in LetsTalkBitcoin because... I have life. I don't hang out in forums all day long.

Still, even with what you would call my low activity, I got 0.088 BTC for the first week and 0.075 BTC for the last week.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTBc] The most profitable alt coin to mine is... on: July 30, 2014, 01:59:23 PM

This is nice. May I ask how do you transfer your LTBC to Melotic without BTC to pay those high fees?

Unfortunately you'll have to send some btc dust to your account to be able to pay the transfer fee Sad I know. This sucks.

how much is the fee?

Welcome!

@belltown,

I've a question for you brother,

Why would I stop? I did not. I'm getting paid each Saturday for my posts.
Last Saturday I got 0.075 BTC, the one before I got 0.088 BTC. I'm looking forward to the next Saturday.

From the Counterwallet help: "...each Counterparty action requires approximately 0.0005 BTC to perform".

93  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I made 0.088 BTC for making few forum posts on: July 29, 2014, 04:57:18 AM
It is really not hard to make 50 posts in one month, it would only take a few hours of actual work and would end up making a lot on a per hour basis and you would not need to be participating in any kind of pump and dump scheme.

doggieTattoo, I see you're new to Bitcointalk. LetsTalkBitcoin and LTBcoin are creation of Adam B Levine, Andreas M. Antonopoulos and Stephanie Murphy. No pump and dump scheme would come from people like these.

Also I'm sorry to let you know that you don't qualify for any of signature campaigns since you have only Newbie account. They usually require Members if not Full Members. So what I did is the only way for you to earn BTC by posting in forums. This is actually fun and super profitable! Give it a try.

Is this really working, guys? Anyone else tried It?

It sounds really good but I don't want to waste time doing something for nothing... you know  Wink

It does work. Just on this page you have 2 messages from different users with proof that this works. Look at the other pages in this thread. Proofs are everywhere.

97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LTBcoin [LTBc] "Let's Talk Bitcoin" crypto-rewards Official Thread on: July 28, 2014, 05:58:31 PM
I have two suggestions:

1. Since this is Official LTBcoin thread, maybe you should move it to Bitcoin Forum > Other > Alternate cryptocurrencies > Announcements (Altcoins) ? This is the place where all the official communication is going.

2. Adam has some issues in his guide that confused new people. I've updated his guide here: http://letstalkbitcoin.com/forum/post/work-in-progress-dont-reply-yet You can update the link on LTBcoin SETUP GUIDE, with lot's of pictures. in OP

BTW, guys, you can just open Russian forum or thread on LetsTalkBitcoin Community and speak in Russian there. This still earns coins!

This works! I earned:
week 1 - 0.088 BTC
week 2 - 0.075 BTC

great translation!
