81  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why are people defending MTGox? on: March 04, 2014, 01:09:44 AM
What I don't understand is the many posters on this board that seem to suggest MTGox ISN'T in trouble and that it's all a conspiracy theory to destory them?

You remember the whole Pirate thing? How long people were in denial before they accepted it? Yeah, pretty much the same thing happening here.

I wasn't here when Pirate 40, thing happened, I did hover read on it  afew weeks ago.  Read allot of comments saying everything was okay...

He took 500k bitcoins, back then it wasn't much.
82  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why are people defending MTGox? on: March 04, 2014, 01:07:46 AM
They lost 750k bitcoins, that means for them to pay everybody back they need 750k coins to be deposit or have the cash in hand.

That is an assumption.
Presented as lost to the customers, sure, but it would be a weird universe if mister karpeles didn't know where the funds are.

Im going base on what the company attorneys stated.  Now, I know its impossible to loose that much Crypto and don't even notice it.

^Did you even read Mtgox.com?

) As of now, the liabilities of MtGox Co., Ltd exceed its assets and its financial situation is as follows:

Total amount of assets    3,841,866,163
Total amount of current liabilities    6,501,119,371

The increase of current liabilities may be linked to a loss of bitcoins and customer funds.

That's in Fiat debt, they failed to included Crypto into their debt. Being that its not a BTC LEGAL asset or has value in the face of the Government and system.
84  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Public Record of my claim against gox on: March 04, 2014, 12:59:02 AM
Honestly, most likely you lost your Crypto.  Even thought MTGox is claiming it wants to pay back its Crypto to it users, it will take them over 200years to do so.

maybe a bit less Smiley do not be so sceptic.

I did the math *500USD per coin, to cover their 750k, should take them 197.36 years LOL. Grin

Even now despite this most recent announcement of what amounts to bankruptcy proceedings
They're not liquidating all assets and paying back only what they can (less than the total), they are actually looking to restart business in order to reach the capacity to pay back everything. This is not how bankruptcy proceedings work. But Gox haters gonna hate and keep spreading FUD.

And I'm like really? Did they even READ the statement.
Right back atcha, liar.

They lost 750k bitcoins, that means for them to pay everybody back they need 750k coins to be deposit or have the cash in hand.

2 years their profit was 2.5Mln made by their trading fee's.
Last year their profit was 1.3Mln also made by trading fee's.

So the average was 1.9 Mln per year in profits, that will take them close to 200 Years to pay it off, if they used every single dime they get in fee's.

750k * 500(lowered from 568, that its right now)  = $375,000,000.00

$375,000,000.00
$    1,900,000.00
----------------------
       197.xx years.

Right now, what Im seeing is they will ONLY BE PAYING those who had FIAT, others who had Crypto, they will reset your account to 0.

92  Economy / Speculation / Re: We will see $850 by March 3rd. on: March 03, 2014, 09:21:12 AM
We will see $850 by March 3rd.

This is my prediction. I have been watching this market like a hawk since December and I am sure that the only thing keeping the price from being in the mid 800s is the MTGOX fiasco. The smoke is clearing and all of the people who now know about Bitcoin from the publicity will realize that this is a great chance to get into the market.

If I were you, I certainly wouldn't be buying based on some newbie...but I want to come back to this thread at the end of the week and say "told ya!"  Grin

Soon, I will be known as 'Obi-Wan Coinobi the prophet'  Wink

What happened did you loose money,  Cry

Also something that I forgot to mention, this does fit a bubble.

And as always,  Don't let me or others users make a decision for you, its your money.

I completely agree with you, also I will like to add, that is expensive to get into Bitcoin, to go out a purchase a single BTC is next to impossible.

And yes, Im aware of Coinbase, ect. But Lets I wanted to buy something in the next 20mins  or place a Bet on GoWest website, in the next 20mins, If im new, I wouldn't be able to do that.

You will in a couple of months. This is being developed by several parties at the moment. Patience, grasshopper.

And why do you need a whole bitcoin? Buy a fraction of one.

Do you only buy gold by the pound?

Was using it as an Example, but I do place bets much more higher than 1 BTC

Welcome,

You need to make a decision, do you want to have more fiat value or you want more Crypto.

NOW LETS PLAY THE GAME.
You Initial Invest:
           $24,675.00

Sell your 35 BTC at around 575.xx , that should net you $20,125.00, your total lost was $4550.00.

Place you Buy order at for 15 BTC at 548.xx, that should cost you around $8220.00.

  >>> Place a Sell order at for 15 BTC at 569.xx, and you just made $315 profit

Place another Buy order at a much lower price, lets say 10 BTC at 525.xx,

And so on.  Always have % of FIAT in Hand. (if you see the market moving lower, cancel your Buy Orders and put them in lower price | Also if its going up change your sell orders}

Also very important, try to stay above the news, Negative news will cause a panic sale. Positive News will cause a Panic Buy.

( What I do for the news, I go to Google, click News and search Bitcoin )

By playing the game, you should recover your 4.5k looses you had.

Also I personally don't think we are going up, I think we will be around 450-550 for a while. UNLESS we get great, VERY great news.

But at this moment I don't see nothing, we are going Pre November 2013

THIS GAME IS DANGEROUS IS NOT FOR EVERYBODY. Feel free to PM, ill help you out.

Use an Exchange that has low trading fee's, I my self use BTC-e.com for my trading game (NEVER KEEP ALL YOUR EGGS IN THE SAME BASKET)

Google News URL:
https://www.google.com/#q=bitcoin&tbm=nws

Android App, Has every market, updates every 5secs, and Has an Alarm OPTION in which you could configure it as you wish.

BTC-e, their fee's are 0.02%, I never had a problem depositing or withdrawing. (look me up at the troolbox, same handle)
