When starting out you should understand your customer's concerns/feedback rather than argue. Based on your replies I will not participate.

Thank you, yes I've been hovering over the buy button for a few days Smiley Is the 31TH model one of the units pulling 2250W?

Phil, the 31TH you picked up is the one for $799.00 currently correct?

Hello, I am a bit confused by the LYRA2Z stats. It shows my 6 GPU rig at 420 Mh/s which puts me at some crazy high numbers for that algo. My mining software doesn't show anywhere near that, but ETHASH is almost perfect in the Mh/s estimation. Is something wrong with the LYRA2Z calculator?

You have value cached in the browser for lyra2z field. This is not the correct value for the cards you have selected.
Simply reselect one of the cards to insert new values.

Man I knew $15.00/day was too good to be true Smiley Thank you very much!

Philip and Mr Li, keeping the gear in China avoids the US tariffs correct? If so your ability to provide the gear at good price AND hosting is a VERY attractive offer. I might be interested as well, pending your hosting details.
87  Bitcoin / Hardware / Bitmain S11 20.5 TH on: December 11, 2018, 08:39:18 PM
Do not see this posted anywhere:

S11 model

https://shop.bitmain.com/product/detail?pid=00020181211180049016z61NY2t80653

Normal mode 20.5TH/s @ 1435W min and 16-17.5 TH/s @ 1024W min.

$545, but "Estimated shipping: Jan.25-Feb.4, 2019" Seems like a good miner if it works, but that shipping date...
88  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Canaan "Flash Sale" on: December 06, 2018, 06:35:49 PM
This post was before the "Flash Sale" emails came out. That sale kind of invalidated the group buy IMHO.
89  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Will btc difficulty go sideways for rest of the year? on: December 05, 2018, 02:10:13 AM
As a comparison, LPM firmware and diff adjustments down have been keeping me just *above* break even. But there does come a point in time where simply buying BTC might be better unless you're heating your house or something.

I am not sure about the PSU or controller, I think it's just the miner. I have to be honest I am not to hip on Canaan specs, looks like it's 20TH @ 1800W +/- 20%.
91  Bitcoin / Group buys / Canaan "Flash Sale" on: November 29, 2018, 08:22:58 PM
We were discussing this in the kano.is Dicord group and someone has already confirmed with Lily that it's legit as the sale doesn't show on Canaan's main page on last check.

Seems like an awesome way to pick up really good miners for a nice price. However Canaan has a MOQ of like 50 for the 921 so maybe a group buy or some sort of collaboration? I wasn't sure if this forum or group buy was appropriate, but I thought I'd start here.

When exchanges are back to deposit DEM?

Seriously, what the hell...
93  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Opinions on my mining plan? on: October 21, 2018, 03:47:18 AM
I’ve run my miners in 104 deg F Room Temp no problem. The chips temps were high, but did not shut down.
94  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Opinions on my mining plan? on: October 21, 2018, 01:19:59 AM
Is your $0.06 price per kw/h including your delivery fee? You need to look at your *total* cost. Secondly prepare for Texas heat to throw that 1300w estimate out the window. My S9s vary from 1400(right now at 64 deg F in the room)-1500+W(100 deg room temps) each according to my PDU. On top of that you have to pay electricity for exhaust fans, supporting gear (computers, switches, routers, lights, etc). Throw AC on top of that and you're not going to make money.

I am in the DFW area and cool my miners with ambient air, meaning your draw outside air in and then adequately exhaust it out. Search the forum and sub forums. You'll find plenty of info.

I am thinking about moving to your pool. I have 763.5TH. But without reading through this entire thread, can you tell me if there is anyway that your pool can notify me if a worker has stopped working or is hashing at a low rate via email or phone app?

Kano keeps the 1st page updated, definitely no need to read all the in-between, but to address your question directly you'll need an app or other way to notify. The pool itself won't do it. Personally I use Awesome Miner to report low hashrate, high temp, etc.

You should try the pool, solid people, low fee, and Discord where rifleman74 drive by posts MINE ON KANO SAN and then fades in to the darkness Smiley

97  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Pangolin Whatsminer M10 - 33TH at 2145W on: August 31, 2018, 04:08:40 PM
Thanks HF. I guess a good winter project will be rerunning thicker gauge. I'd like to have 4 units per line. Simple math would make that 60A and 6 gauge wire I imagine.

We'll probably have to wait for units to land and reviews to come out before we web it. I think sales has placed a few special requests already though. Production might be tight for them since their second batch is listed two months out from September batch.

Honestly it would most likely be more economical to run additional 30A circuits. PDUs are cheaper, wiring is cheaper, etc.

is anyone looking into gettiing the Antminer S9-Hydro?

I think the general consensus is it's kind of a gimmick and is priced too high.

I don't understand the whole 5ND thing... and I CAN'T AFFORD TO FIGURE IT OUT.

I think you're confusing can't with won't. Honestly in the current climate you can't afford NOT to understand. Take the time, read, and hell ask questions, but making uninformed knee-jerk reactions is really not beneficial. Do that for any pool not just this one, but once you fully understand you'll see why this is a good pool.

Hi, The product problem like catching the fire as you said may be caused by quality problem or power supply. A very small number of our initial products were faced with the problem at last year and after that we have updated the product and power supply. Then we can promise that there are no relevant complaints about it.
Here is an updated video review from Voskcoin, please check here to know more about our products: https://youtu.be/XQhoxnO3Mdk
If you have any problems, welcome to contact us directly via Email: official@pandaminer.com

I've not done business with you guys, but at least you addressed the criticism in an open and informative way. Kudos to you guys, a lot of vendors could learn from this.
