81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Awareness is the biggest influence. on: July 19, 2018, 01:03:55 PM
So we all know BTC drops when people sell their coins... but the peaking is purely because of investments...

The mall in S.Korea that started accepting BTC as of this month played a massive roll in BTC's growth. Obviously this is because BTC's awareness is growing!

Surely there are ways to bring the awareness of cryto to the population.

Are there any other 'blow ups' of crypto that you have heard of? Similar to the mall...
What are you doing to spread the awareness? Smiley

yes, of course awareness is the key to make people change their mind.
Majority of people are afraid of cryptos because they do not understand the base principles of this tech and therefore just read fud news about btc and have bad idea of the whole tech.

people have no idea at all and they don't even put efforts into studying about bitcoin. That wouldn't be a problem, but if they're making statements wihtout that knowlegde, that's already ridiculous
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Germany added bitcoin as a legal tender! on: July 19, 2018, 01:03:08 PM
Hello folks. here is the latest news about Germany which is the first country who added bitcoin as a legal tender. Many countries will follow soon. It is really a good news for all of us!

video link: https://dms.licdn.com/playback/C4E05AQFraneZVf1-gQ/e33ca27a480d4fdda9f187651093c237/feedshare-mp4_500-captions-thumbnails/1507940118923-hysdc8?e=1529460000&v=beta&t=m3-EC3YeX66oEAjKAOu077KbLMa1KMlTktFOEoWxaw8

amazing news that is! More and more is crypto being recognized as proper money, which is really crucial for the community and for bitcoin and alts to keep growing as before
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EVERY TIME IS RIGHT TO BUY AND SELL on: July 19, 2018, 01:01:54 PM
Looking at how BTC is and its ability to increase, I have seen people posting all all over the forum that can I buy now, is this the right time to buy and many more. To me I think every time is the right and best time to buy BTC so we should go on and buy any amount we want to and stop all those post because when you buy now there will surely be a time to come where it will increase in price for you to enjoy it. We can buy and sell anytime and anytime is the best time. What do you think guys? Any suggestions?

of course, those posts are from the people who are of very low IQ and need to ask even how to use the toilet. Everyone at least a little bit educated can see the situation
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which european countries are best for cryptocurrency startups? on: July 19, 2018, 01:01:05 PM
One country that you haven't mentioned is Belarus, they've legalized cryptocurrency, ICO's and smart contracts at a national level.
Transactions made with crypto tokens are VAT exempt till 2023.

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/cryptocurrency-friendly-regulations-belarus-could-attract-foreign-capital-and-icos/

that's how it should be. Hopefully by 2023 they will recognize crypto as money in general so the VAT or any other tax won't even apply, that would be very important
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monaco Visa ICO - tomorrow - latest scam? on: July 15, 2018, 07:24:40 AM
This just showed up out of nowhere.

https://themerkle.com/monaco-visa-ico-starting-may-18th/

https://www.mona.co/

I see nothing on reddit or here.

Seems very scammy. Likely fake VISA association that TokenCard had.

be careful, it doesn't look right. The associations with credit card companies already brought some ICO founders to jail and this team might not be even real either, haven't found links to linkedin on the web
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: a hope bounty ?? on: July 15, 2018, 07:21:49 AM
I have been doing bounty for some time and I have experienced some unpaid bounty efforts.

1. Hashcard - exit scam
2. Blackfolio - not reach softcap
3. BCharity - does not reach softcap
4. Safein - project canceled
5. Impressio - scam exit
6. Root blockchain - does not get enough private investors who

bitpaction bitcoin
revizor coin
qompass.io

and many others end up with unworthy tokens because their team decides to stop the project

UCHIT - exit scam
LUHN - CEO is MISSING (scam)
GREENISH - SCAM
CLOUT - Not a scam but their coins have no value for the bounty v2

Continue to try and do bounty, never give up but beware of fraud.

I learned the lesson here. I have to be more selective in the future in choosing bounty, just like choosing ICO to invest.

Do you have a similar experience? Please share so others can learn.

I thought high of safein first, but when they postponed their sale because of bear market, I knew they weren't up to the task. Don't you worry, these things happen, you will be luckier next time with other bounties
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are zero transaction costs possible? on: July 14, 2018, 08:16:42 AM
What do you think, is it possible to have zero transaction costs for bitcoin/altcoin. At the moment there are many fees and are they justified and impossible to get around or is it possible to reduce or even remove them in the future?

you don't want zero fees because it would take incentive from the miners and they're necessary to maintain the network by confirming the transactions on the blockchain
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today was the lowest it can go, Bitcoin price expected to Rise on: July 14, 2018, 08:15:22 AM
Good news guys, I have insiders tells me today was the lowest it could ever go so expect bitcoin price to soar to the sky high from
now on. Its expected to go up to $28000 in the next 2 months.

excellent prediction! What an insider you have! I hope people can see now that these predictions are nonsense, nothing worth even giving a second of your time, definitely not worth your money
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can lightning network help Bitcoin? on: July 14, 2018, 08:13:00 AM
What makes Lightning Network an innovation to help Bitcoin?

it's a huge innovation as it makes the transactions immediate, with low fees and untrackable. Last feature might not be so welcome with governments, let's see what that brings to us
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is Back, suggests Fortune on: July 14, 2018, 08:11:50 AM
Bloomberg Fortune, today (or yesterday, depending on where you live):

"Unknown Bitcoin Creator Satoshi Nakamoto Might Be Writing a Book

Is the unknown creator of Bitcoin writing a book about it?

That could be concluded from a cryptic message posted Friday at a website possibly linked to Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonym used by the person or people who released the original Bitcoin white paper in 2008."

read more: http://fortune.com/2018/06/30/satoshi-nakamoto-bitcoin-book/

Can someone kindly tell us what website they're talking about? Its not this one is it?

this satoshi obsession is pretty funny to be honest. So many people can pretend to be satoshi nakamoto, there is only one way to check though, that is him to sign a transaction from his wallet
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Bitcoin Awareness and Usage in Canada' on: July 14, 2018, 08:10:25 AM
https://www.bankofcanada.ca/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/san2018-23.pdf

The number of holders is 5,0%, up from 2,9$ from 2016

An estimated 1,9 million bitcoin is held by Canadians, up from 1,0 million from 2016.

Graphs and tables start on page 10.

this is exactly what is needed, general adoption between regular people. 5% is still not much, but it's growing, which is really positive. Let's hope we can gain 10% in Canada soon Smiley
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the benefits of managing bitcoin on: July 14, 2018, 08:08:27 AM
I believe it will help the economy in a country that manages bitcoin perfectly. we have seen, most of the Bitcoin players have improved their finances. the problem of the world is the level of poverty. and bitcoin could be the solution for that.

it's attractive for smaller jurisdictions for now, as the market is still not so huge to be a game changer for larger economies. But sooner or latver, it will become big enough for them too
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to move on, and ignore the BTC !!! on: July 12, 2018, 09:56:20 AM
Don't be crazy, we should not leave Bitcoin. There are many people who say that they are altcoins which work better than Bitcoin because they are faster. Ethereum? It has problem with high fees because of large amount of ICOs going on. Iota? It's an experiment which does not work well, problem with transactions. Ripple? Do you really want to go back to centralized banking?

it's not only about that. We need to set one cryptocurrency that will be used for global transactions instead of trying to invest new better ones. Those can be applied to specific markets in my opinion
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steve Wozniak claims Bitcoin ‘The Only Digital Gold’. on: July 12, 2018, 09:55:24 AM
According to Cointelegraph: Steve Wozniak: Bitcoin Is ‘The Only Digital Gold’

“Only Bitcoin is pure digital gold… and I totally buy into that. All the others tend to give up some of the aspects of Bitcoin. For example, being totally decentralized and having no central control. That's the first one they have to give up to try to have a business model.”

There are only three questions come to my mind after checking this article:
- when 20k?
- when Moon?
- when Lambo?  Grin

if these are the questions in your mind, I'm really sorry for you to have such a troubled mind, I'm sure there are professionals who can help you with that though, just go to seek a help
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dump problem due to Short orders/bitcoin futures on: July 12, 2018, 09:54:41 AM
Hello

it seem that those dumping prices are affected due to short orders of brokers which are using bitcoin and a financial instrument to make money, instead of its ideology of holding/ capital investment.

due to those bitcoin futures, there arent any " limited" bitcoins nomore, and those brokers or citiziens ( whom can contact brokers to buy them those futures ) , as they can buy them at its present value without using any wallet or register to annoying exchange platforms with tons of aml/kyc laws.

i think those 2 things are destorying the bitcoin as banks are also possible to go shorts via the bitcoin futures without having a problem with the regulations as its a stock market.

nothing is destroying bitcoin. Only because the prices were not growing for some time, it doesn't mean bitcoin is being destroyed. You're complaining about the speculators yet you do the same...
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With Bitcoin Maximum cap . Can it be used by the whole world ? on: July 12, 2018, 09:52:48 AM
The maximum numbers of bitcoin to be mined is 21 million bitcoins. Bitcoin can not be used as money by the whole world because it has a maximum cap. My opinion . What is your stand ?

it can be used by whole world, because bitcoin has 8 decimals, called satoshis. Your opinion is not educated, so better do some research first. It's available literally for everyone..
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is officially dead on: June 29, 2018, 11:55:33 AM
I do not think so that will ethereum be dead what are your proof it is just normal for the ethereum to go down and up so do not worry because it is normal keep your calm and wait for the pump of ethereum

unfortunately many noobs think that price decline equals death and they couldn't be further away from truth. But I don't know why people with this limited knowledge even post on this forum
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Your Job is The Worst Idea on: June 29, 2018, 11:54:46 AM
Its definitely not advisable to leave your job for full time crypto trading. I can only advise you to take crypto trading as your second job to earn more money.

or to lose the money from the job you still have instead of losing the money you used to earn Smiley as that way it's running out much faster, I guess we all know that. It's fine taking the risks, just know what you're doing.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite altcoin and why? on: June 29, 2018, 11:53:48 AM
My favorite cryptocurrency is Ethereum, which has brought me some benefits, and it is about to become the best cryptocurrency in the market. I invested most of it in it and I believe it will bring me A generous return.
Seriously? There're two pages of discussion, and almost everybody calls Ethereum their favorite coin?! Something is wrong! Offer more extraordinary variants! We all know that Ethereum is cool and worth purchasing. But it's necessary to diversify your portfolio with other altcoins!

it's fine people are calling ethereum their favorite coin, this thread is not about diversification, but it's about the one favorite option. I would also opt for ethereum should I choose 1
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 29% of Germans are interested in cryptocurrency as a form of investment on: June 25, 2018, 07:16:15 PM
I heard a survey of over 3,000 Germans, 29% have expressed interest in cryptocurrency as a form of investment, This is very possitive attidudes towards Crypto future right? Anyone knows the original source of this news?

if the stats were like this in every country, bitcoin would have been massively adopted at this point. However it is not. We all need to work to spread a word and help the community to grow
