Dragginator is a blockchain game launched June 2018. It's based upon collectible virtual draggons you can raise and breed. Each one is born as an Egg, with specific DNA info. Each one is more or less capable for a specific task, and can be common or very rare. The game also features 3D graphics. https://Dragginator.com/The game is based upon the Bismuth platform and protocol, so it runs out of private contracts, with no gas involved and very little fees. Since its start, it attracted nice interest from the Bismuth community. Although based upon $BIS, you can also play with other cryptos like ETH, Dash, BCH, BTC. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.ibb.co%2Fb1O6fp%2Fdrag1.png&t=663&c=prpxQ1_uzkqUQA) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.ibb.co%2FfmgRfp%2Fdrag2.png&t=663&c=NksD3L0SxH4fkA) An example of some draggons eggs ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.ibb.co%2FgvkxmU%2Fdrag_rarest.png&t=663&c=1PW1D_s4hfNQ5A) Some rare eggs ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.ibb.co%2FggscmU%2Fdrag3.png&t=663&c=MDAkV1-UeEQD8w) Each egg has its own specific abilities and characteristics Iyomisc, the dev of the game, is pretty much active improving the experience. More features than what were planned are already available, like the market place, or the possibility to improve eggs by merging them. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.ibb.co%2Fn3xXLp%2Fdrag4.png&t=663&c=r_SMeeIBxIHpmA) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fimage.ibb.co%2FhLTTt9%2Ftwegg2.png&t=663&c=x8fiXPGXaBBjeQ) Some surprises are happening, too ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) August Cup:A first cup took place earlier this year, with special soccer eggs. To backup wallet safely will I encrypt and then "Backup Wallet", and if wallet.der is stolen they will need my password to unlock to send funds?
And to load backup use "Load Wallet" choose wallet.der and then unencrypt with my password?
Sorry to ask such a simple question, want to make sure my coins are safe in the event of the file being stolen or my hard drive being destroyed
If you encrypt your wallet ("send" tab), then you private key if encrypted within the file, and you (or someone having access to the wallet file) will only be able to check the balance. The password will be needed to send any transaction.

can I actually mine to cryptopia wallet or not?
(I know what cryptopia recommends...)
No, because cryptopia has a single deposit wallet for everyone, and without the specific message to include, no way to id the account to credit.

Can anyone help me with a problem I am having with the eggminer. Every time I paste in my address, an error comes up that says:
UserWarning: It looks like you are importing PyOpenCL from its source directory. This likely won't work.
Does anyone have a solution for this? I have two other computers mining BIS and they have no issue at all.
Hi, Sure, just re-install your GPU drivers. It's a windows update that broke opencl, classic issue. re-installing the gpu drivers will fix.

Bare with me spamming for a good cause: promote a game and a contest, with ultimate goal to raise BIS awareness: There is now in total : 600 BIS plus 125 $EGG (the bismuth token) plus rare eggs to be won at the dragginator cup, I had to tell everyone, at least once https://twitter.com/iyomisc/status/101270349984542310620 people only registered 130 eggs so far (max is 10 per address). Will you let them go home with the prizes, or will you try your chance too? http://dragginator.com/cup_help.php

Dragginator announced its first cup: Any soccer egg owner can register (freely, as in beer) to participate in the contest. There is - for now, but I guess it will raise because they are still looking for sponsors - a 100 bis prize and more. The announce tweet: https://twitter.com/iyomisc/status/1011975202534838272"Happy to announce our own Dragginator Soccer Cup! Any soccer egg owner can freely register. Nice prizes for the winner, and more to come ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Read more and register now: https://dragginator.com/cup_help.php" And my tweet looking for sponsors: https://twitter.com/EggPoolNet/status/1012014139001143297"A newborn collectible game on a young python platform, already a Cup with prizes: http://Dragginator.com 2018 Cup is looking for Sponsors by @iyomisc #blockchain https://www.slideshare.net/Dragginator/dragginator-2018-cup-sponsorsPlease RT to give exposure, attract sponsors and get more prizes!" "If you're in the crypto business, it's one occasion of a kind to have your name/brand associated to a cool and fun contest, contact @iyomisc , every offer be it crypto, hardware or service is welcome." Please relay as much you can to give the contest and Bismuth the exposure they deserve. Thanks!

The fork at 700000 went smooth so far. Some non up to date nodes ended up stuck, They just will have to update to get synced again. Thanks to the cooperation of all the pools and main actors, the 3 main pools are on the right ledger, so is Cryptopia and - needless to say - the official explorer and wallet servers. Good work everyone!

Too many nodes still using mainnet0016 , Please check the how to above and update asap, only a few hours left. After deleting the folder and reinstall to the latest version is says "version=mainnet0016" in my config file. if i understand it right everyone need to manually edit that file to xxxxx0017? If you want to be safe, yes. We know it comes late, and it's fully our fault, but its that protocol version number that will allow to filter up to date nodes from others if the fork goes south. If you only use the wallet, connected to an online server, then don"t bother: you have no local chain, nothing to fork.

Thank you, this is what I was looking for. How about CPUs? I wonder what kind of hashrate would someone get with something like a ryzen for example.
Cpu days are way behind. Bis algo is not memory bound, pure raw hash is needed, so SIMD with massive thread count wins. Large advantage to GPUs. Thanks for the explanation. I guess being memory intensive is the main solution for cpu friendly algos so that gpus don't take the advantage. You can try to play with the specifics of some hardware to slow down others, but in practice, it's not that easy. You can always trade space (ram) for speed for instance. But yep, some try to use I/O bound operations, heavy memory use and serialized algos to limit gpus or asic advantage.

I'm very glad to announce the launch of https://Dragginator.com , a game based upon Bismuth blockchain. It's dev by https://twitter.com/Iyomisc using Bismuth tokens, transactions, the Bismuth plugin system, 3D graphics... More than 100 Dragginator eggs were already made a few hours after its launch. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.ibb.co%2Fg850vJ%2Fdrag1.png&t=663&c=ik2Rr4aq9Ak6lA) This is a strong proof that a third part - young - dev is able to fully grasp the Bis ecosystem and build upon. Congrats Iyomisc!
