How long does it takento see the block on the reward page?
Thought it was a couple of min 🙈

Block was on the reward page literally a couple minutes after the block was found.

A couple minutes?   I woke up, looked at the web site on my android phone,  Saw the timer for Pool block was 51 Minutes, but the block was not listed in block listing, NOR any reward.  I refreshed page, went to reward page, then blocks page a few times.  it was only after another stresfull few minutes( Oh No, where is the BTC)  that the information on both reward and block listigns actually showed up.   Normally I see them pretty quick after we find a block, this one was different for some reason.

I'm so wishing i came back 10 days ago...  not just a couple...    BUT I do like the new pattern  ~100% then around 15-20%  We should keep up this for the next 12 weeks!

AHH what happened  pool went from 90 PH to 79....  Who left?!!?!?!  DAMN YOU!

Thanks Kano for the Line item's on the Pool Stats page!  That must of been done in the last day or so since another guy and I posted about it..    I am... number 90...  Still room for improvement
83  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [80+PH] KanoPool kano.is 10 BTC giveaway 🐈 on: March 23, 2018, 04:21:33 AM
Kano, would it be possible for you to add a line to the Workers>Shift_Graph and the Pool>Graph page also maybe line numbers on the Pool>Status so that you know what # you are in the list (going up or down)?
 Kiss

Hahah, I just count the people above me...  Takes a long time.  But yes, nice to know without counting.   After you scroll though, you loose your spot...  GRR!

Certainly, by now, Sidewinder is ramped up enough for one of Kano's large miner rewards...

Whaddaya say, folks, will this be the one?!

He might get enough for paying that electrical bill... :-)   I wonder if all them S9's fit in his garage or garden shed?
hmmm....

I HATE MYSELF!!!!!

I did the math, and I would have made about .05096272008 BTC  MORE here than at that other place that starts with the same letter as Snake!

With 6 S9's here, would have been .0085 per day, and at the Snake place was .00637655 per day ( Real numbers )  Feb 25 to Mar 21

Please forgive me.. I doubted the system.  I just couldn't handle the long February.   Sad  Its over now!

One good month and one bad month =?

Do the math my friend! If it always is expected to be 100% than the math difference in earnings should be roughly 1.1%(fee diff) over time, with consistency in favor of the other guys.

Not one month, This calculation is for one month.  I have been here for a while.  noticed this before as well.  Just Feb was pretty bad, and I got cold feet.

See the reality of it is the expected rate is 100% yes, I will agree, but over how long?  The sample has to be big enough.

The pool is growing, so the likelihood of finding a block with the hash rate at the time the block was found is higher in a " Moment sample" where as the calculated percent is actually different then the " Instant" percentage at that instant the block was found.  You can see this in the stats, the pool grew in the last 1.5 - 2 months, and the percentage of luck has gone UP.  This is also true in the past for Kano Pool as well as others.  When the pool stopped growing, luck started to fall off, Yes, I understand that the overall hash rate of the BTC network was going up, nut if you look at the luck and when blocks are found, you will see that when pool growing, the Luck is better.  See the many blocks that are well below 100%?
If you expected the luck to be 100 %, then when more has rate was added, and luck stayed 100%, that means it really actually took longer to find that block becuase you spent more time on it.

Have you blown out the dust and dirt.  I had some issue with one that the fans were ramping up and down.  A full power cycle seemed to solve it for a bit, but would come back.  I found that it was in a bit warmer room, or colder, that ramping did not happen.  Ironically its fan speeds wouldn't even be at full speed.  I have 3 in a house now that the ambient room temp is now at about 27 deg, and the fans are at 4800 and 5200.  When the room temp was near 22 it would ramp up and down all the time.

As for the hash board, are you powering the S9 with 120 V or 240 volt?  I had similar issue where my walking over the cord would cause a hash board to stop.  I didn't know at first but it was every time I touched the power supply, or walked past/over this cord.  The only thing I can figure is that it was the static shock messing with it, very minor static, but becuase it was from the carpet. ( I have two S9's in a box venting into return air for furnace in house)

Have you tried switching the hash board from one chain to another?  not to test, but to keep like that.  I also found that the problem S9 that i had that issue with only had it when it was cold, ie first boot up, but dissappereared when it was warmed up.

Like any Gopher would do...  I saw all the GREEN Grass on the graphs and charts..  and I brought my 0.081 PH/s back.  Yes, Now I have to compare it to PH not just TH. :-)
10 day ramp out of the gopher hole isnt so bad either to get to that grass!

So if that guy can get 2 blocks that fast.. I should be able to get the next one with half the hashing power....    My S9's are happy, I cleaned them, blew out the dust from months of running..  good for another 60 days.

Kano,
On your block stats page, for the % of the block say 9% or 35%  or the 100 %  How is that calculated?   I know how, but what value is used...   are you using the pool hash rate at the time the block is found and its calculated, or are you using pool average at the time the block is found, or is it the actual amount of hashes tried at that point in time when the block was found?  I do know that when there is a difficulty change the percentage drops by some, like on that over 500% block, when it was at 530 or so %, the difficulty changed, then the percentage went below 500 % again.  I understand that from a mathematical perspective, that at the new difficulty rate the amount of hashing done is less %.

What I am wondering is why isn't the 530 or so % added to the amount of hashing that was done AFTER the difficulty change,  eg after the diff change, there was another 25% effort put in at the new difficulty rate, and that 25% added to the 530 to = 555%?

Basically, add the accumulated effort before the difficulty change to the calculated effort from the Difficulty change going forward.

Hope that makes sense.

What was the last two blocks Per TH reward rate and the Pool N Average?

They'd be on your Rewards page Smiley
Same for everyone Smiley

I know that...  but mine are all 0's....  actually they are not even listed.   :-(   Remember, I defected.  I am re-looking at the numbers to see  the differences.

Can someone tell me what the Per Th reward rate was for the last 3 blocks, please only let me know if you were fully ramped up, if you were not, the info is useless for me for what i want to do.
Thanks
You can PM me if you want instead.
You can work it out from the Rewards page.
"Your BTC" /  "Your N Avg"

It will be the same (for a few decimal places) for everyone (per block)

My rewards page has VERY low numbers...  from defecting... :-)

I believe you call it dust.

I know...  I might be slapped for this...  but the 8500 kWh / month electrical bill needed to be paid.

Besides, I like it when the road to Bitcoin Summit ramps up and down through the mountains and valleys :-)

If anyone wants S9's  They have dropped the price on bitmain.  $1915 USD and $2000 USD  SHipping both March 21.

Now, why would they list the same item for the same shipping date with two prices?

Now when they were 1450 in December, I still have not made enough to break even...  so.... 2000 hmmm...  with .0012 per day average returns?

I should buy a bunch for the next craze that drives them up to 8000 USD

one comes with power supply the other dose not.

HAHA  I guess I should read... :-)

I bet you they still put them on two different waybills and you end up paying multiple brokerage fees.  Instead of listing multiple items on the same waybill.

I re read it, those are only 13 TH as well.

Use Wifi on laptop connected to your cell phone hotspot,  Internet connection sharing between wireless and LAN on laptop, and then plug that lan into the switch for the miners,  reboot the miners to get new DHCP from laptop.

Or replace cell phone with any USB internet key or similar.
Or directional antenna pointed to the local store that has free wifi.
I have had to do this, works like a charm.

FUNNY!

I got the visit from local electrical company, called then right away rang the door bell, WIERD..
But I open the door, and she introduces herself, and then says that they were asked to come out and see why the meter read was so high.  I said, oh,  That is becuase I am using more power.  They kept prying and asking for more info, and I said, its going through the meter, trust me its legit.

Then I asked,  Hey, I thought you were not allowed to approach customers and ask them what they are using their power for?  She shut up pretty quick.

I said, so if my meter read was "estimated" for two months, and the last one was on Dec 8, and again, no meter reads after that....  how did you determine that there was excessive usage here with the one meter read?   Blank look...

Funny, now I have to convince them that i used ALL that 18 000 kWh in December when it was the cheapest, 3.99 cents/kWh, now its 5.18 cents!
HAHA  Next they will ask me why my gas meter read is so low... like less than 10 % of where it should be.

They actually by law are not allowed to ask what I am doing with my power, but yet they decided to do that.

I figure I'll save 260 dollars with the lower rate.

Anyone ever receive Coupons from Bitmain?  They have mine listed with a Coupon ID, Info:  100 USD,  Total Count: 8  Consumed: 0    Sales Order: Yes   Repair-Fee Order: No   Valid: 2018-06-01

Does this mean I have  8 x 100 USD coupons to buy more of their shit?  or am I reading that wrong?

I have 35 $100 vouchers... can only use 1 voucher per miner...

So why would they tell me in their email that they sent one 100 USD coupon to me account, and then put on 8 but not allow me to use them at the same time.  Just a ploy to get more sales?
This was becuase of an L3 that i bought back in december, that was supposed to be batch 1 that they forgot to send to me.

Just tried a dummy order, and it is as you said, 1 coupon allowed.  Bummer, I would of bought an A3 since it would of been almost FREE! HAHA
